Ooo that chair looks soooo comfy. Wish I had room for something that comfy to stitch on. Maybe after I do my fall cleaning and rearrange of my apartment great video!
It's such a nice sentiment that instead if finishing your Aunt's piece, you personalized it with her name, and had it framed! It looks beautiful! I also like how your stitchy spot is set up...looks comfy, 😊
***** Awe thanks! Yeah I teared up a bit stitching her initials LoL. I was going to leave the needle in place, but the framer recommended against it due to oxidation!
I actually have the pattern for the cross stitch your aunt made. I would love to make it but it is ENORMOUS!! I like what you did with your Woodland sampler. It looks great.
Stitching Mae I will try to dig it out and let you know. I think it is Barbara & Cheryl. I wish I could part with but I don't have the heart :( (Feeling selfish) My grandparents owned a country store so I would very much love to make it.....Later.... I went stash digging and did not come across it where I thought it was. However, I have a huge pattern stash (over 2,000 leaflets and magazines...Blushing in shame) I will keep my eyes open for it and message you when I find it.
Your stitchy spot looks really nice. Big comfy chair, well lit and organized. Very cool. :) I have a place near my spot that becomes a catch all, too. Too funny. :) Hugs, Jessie
I enjoyed seeing your stitchy spot. Your pup is very cute. Does he try to sit in your lap when you stitch or does he stay on the floor close by? Love your white "tower" of drawers behind your chair. Looks so organized! Thanks for sharing!
Tara Ward No he sits and whines until I allow him to get into my lap. HaHa, and wants to bury himself under my lap blanket! The drawer "tower" is an Alex set from Ikea and the floss drawers are from Michaels :)
Hi stitching Mae love your stitchy spot .so nice and open your dog is so cute .l was thinking of getting a lamp like yours l have been on the fence aboyt it but l have the same table beside my chair l was afraid it would not stay on tight enough or tip over. But it looks great on your table .can you tell me if you found any down sides to using it .thank sue
craft fun forever so far none! The only issue we have had is my son flipped the table once light hit tile floor but didnt come off the table. Bulb did not break and magnifier came out but did not break and popped right back in place.
Your own stitchy area looks great. I loved what you did with your aunts project. What a great way to show it.
I have a small portion of her pattern and I think that area is there but that was the way she left it so I stitched her initials and that was it ...
