    Omg to the fullest !!!! I’m definitely in shock and awe !!!! You definitely been doing this for quite some time. I’m somewhat a newbie, got into hand embroidery and hand sewing through a leather therapeutic kit for Veterans, I absolutely love it, it definitely soothes my nerves. I’m glad you mentioned the actual name brands, like Tulip needles and Thread Magic, I never heard of them, I tried the bees wax deal, it creates too much of a mess. Thank you very much, I’m definitely inspired and motivated !!!! Oscar

      @px5714 it's from a few years stitching in the same spot and figuring out what makes things easier or doesn't work for me. When I get to stitch, I don't want to get up and dig through stuff to find what I need. It's all within arms reach of me and organized so I can get to it fast. Something that always annoyed me was losing my scissors! When I saw the retractable lanyards, I knew how I could use them and always know where my scissors were and never have to figure out where I sat them down again.

      Thank you. I like to just grab what I need. Hunting things down makes me angry. Stitching is my relaxing, so I want it to be done with as little irritation as possible.

    I love your set up! Is the Lowery stand under your chair, and is it weighted down with anything? Mine tips over when I swing it away from me since the light is so heavy. What is keeping yours from tipping? It looks very secure.

    • @brittanycrossstitches
      @brittanycrossstitches  5 месяцев назад

      It's weighted down with 35lbs in disc weights. I also make sure my light bar is parallel with my scroll frames. And the light gets pushed back as far as it goes before I swing it. It counter balances the weight by pushing the light back

    • @brittanycrossstitches

      Once stitch at a time. It can help to break it down into parts. It's not any harder than doing a sampler. If it's the beading you're concerned with, there's tons of videos on RUclips that people show how they tackle it. Try the different beading techniques on spare fabric to see which works best for you before going to your main project. I love using a tacky bill as it holds my beads, and I don't have to worry about them getting away from me. Use a size 28 tapestry needle to bead with. If a petite bead doesn't fit, try a tulip size 10 short beading needle. They are my favorite, but only for petite beads, all other beads, I use a size 28 tapestry needle. If you're looking for advice or need any help at all, just comment here, or you can DM me on Instagram under the same name as my channel!

      @mariamoses8617 There are a lot of videos of me stitching mirabilia's and Bella Filipina's all while chatting. Sometimes, I make a mistake, but I usually catch it pretty quick if I don't then I just fudge it. No one will know but me

    Hi just found your channel, I love your organization! I too have paint supplies and similar craft supplies. How do you keep your lowery from flopping?😊

    • @brittanycrossstitches
      @brittanycrossstitches  11 месяцев назад +1

      My chair legs sit on top of it. However I've had my children knock it over by plowing threw to get to all the craft stuff, which is why I added the magnets to the bottom of my daisy dish because I usually will rest different needles in it. They were flung all over my living room, so with the magnets, if they knocked it over, they stayed in the daisy dish now.
