I'm guessing every U.S. animal farmer is gonna want one of these. And imagine the possibilities for search and rescue. Amazing!
If it can run more than 1 hour at a minimum at least, then yes, otherwise it may just be one expensive toy.

@@portablejea7014 I would also think way more people would be able to fly this then having to bring in actual pilots and very expensive helicopters. I know if this could find me I would much prefer that bill then the expense of helicopter and plane and pilots. Ouch I just thought of how much a bill from a ambulance ride from anywhere you could get lost to the nearest hospital. Last time an ambulance took me to the hospital it was over 1k .. it was literally 4 blocks. Just cause I passed out from hypoglycemia. I literally could have driven myself but no, they insisted.
although it's not the first but it looks more stable, strong and safe, I'm waiting for the human to drive, success for you 'Jetson"

This is absolutely amazing but the noise is a nightmare. It sounds like the most obnoxious bee. Is there a way to make it more quiet to prevent noise pollution?

I wonder how long it can run. batteries gets heavier as more power is required. if this thing can run more than an hour they must be using one magical super lightweight battery.
ONE Jetson is beautiful. Here we say that if an airplane is beautiful, it flies well. He gives me security, balance, control over the machine. I feel like I can cut the air without much effort. Agile. Simple. Small. It seems light and sturdy. I can go anywhere and anytime with him. Silent. Enjoyable. I'm not afraid of him. Perfect for enjoying life, perform tasks and going to work :) Congratulations. Success.

While I would agree with what you are saying I'm not so sure about the silent part. Be curious to know the decibel reading onboard and on the ground.

Have you also considered designing an "Eight Bladed Propeller" for your configuration..??? 🤔 I understand the power draw might be a little higher but the amount of lift and reduced noise as a result of the higher pitch created by the new propeller design are likely a good trade off..??? 🤔💯😉 Thanks..!!!
Yeah even a 4 blade
1 blade would be ideal if you aim at most efficient use of energy. The more you add the worse it gets.

Would make a far better flying saucer, with the previous space frame type chassis and a saucer shell, safer crash wise too.

Why is it unmanned? Earlier flight test where manned. Is this a safety issue?
Because this is an actual production prototype it is much more complicated compared to our first proof of concept that flew with a pilot. We need to make sure all the safety features work correctly and it is free from flaws before we are ready to put a pilot in the seat. This takes time as many hours of test flying are required.
Increase the battery life!! double or triple them up!! fly time is important!!

What advantage does this thing have over a helicopter?

Virtually no maintenance, very easy to fly, clean electric propulsion, super compact form, easy to store/ transport(it is a folding design) much more quiet in the air and you can land/take off from your backyard :)

Serioulsy laughing out loud! It's the high tech 21st century era of American history so now you can get a flying Go-Kart for the farm! Hell yea! And I remember how I wanted to build a Go-Kart so badly when I was in elementary using real car tires and engine, but couldn't get the materials so I go, I need a car, but my parents wouldn't even teach me to drive yet a car and truck were in our driveway. I eventually took drivers ed in HS and bought a car with money earned, but then soon hopped on big airplanes for seriously long rides to, 'over there,' instead.
