Great stuff - songwriting, musicianship, and production. My top 4 bands of the 70's (in no particular order) are Supertramp, E.L.O., Alan Parsons Project, and 10cc. They all share those qualities. Speaking of which, have you listened to the full album version (6 min.) of "I'm Not In Love" by 10cc on your new kit ?
I really like that almost boyish enthusiasm. As a matter of preference only, I like some of the other songs on ‘Crime..’ better. I also enjoy, as a foreigner, hearing where those Birmingham/Midlands vowels and intonations come in (as in 7:56: I can hear it perfectly). I'm not going to criuticize anyone speaking RP [I live in a country where there is no spoken standard, no ‘regulations’ on the spoken language] but it adds to the authenticity when someone out of sheer enjoyment reverts to their original accent/dialect. It's been a while since I've listened to Supertramp, but I caught myself following the lyrics in my head, anticipating the next line just as it came up. I really enjoyed this! Thank you!.
Thank you for taking the time to comment buddy. It’s not an act for me, I would be lost without music and to be able to dig into tracks like this brings me the most joy. I do love all Supertramp songs and do listen to them often. Thanks again buddy I really do appreciate your interaction 🫡
@@produceathome I would never suggest that this was an act! It's way too natural for that - unless you were a candidate for a BAFTA or an Oscar ;-) The spontaeity as well as the quality of the reeactions tell me it's very real. Keep up the good work!
Ken Scott was the producer, he and the group made an all time classic album.
Lovely reaction to a beautiful song! ❤

Nice one mate and no. I haven’t heard that so thanks for the heads up. Will hunt it down!
Take a listen to the Atlanta Rhythm Section some time, given your list you may like them as well
@@randyharbaugh7819 will do buddy. Thanks for the suggestion
