For biking, it is more about learning how to take a turn (prepare for it) on either a motorcycle, car, or bicycle racing.
I ride down Schueren spiritedly on my motorcycle and I can't even imagine what it would be like on a bike! You guys always seem to be having a blast though, I'm seriously considering picking up the hobby because of this channel! Keep it up!
It's a great way to get the thrills and stay in shape. Some people hate climbing but I only got into descending because I loved climbing. No bullshit just you and the mountain and the demons in your head. A kind of meditation.

Very similar to riding from Superior to Mesa Az, max 43mph. The first 5 miles is a major rush. Through the Queen Creek tunnel, across the bridge, eyes glued to the road.
Man you gotta come to Colorado and do do Woodland park to Colorado Springs highway 24 decent. I have one of the top 20 results (of thousands) on Strava, but I hit 50 several times and stayed at 44 mph for much of it, very intense, hit top speed at the end of 52-55mph. Two lane road helps, turns aren't quite as tight that helps too.
This is really helping my recovery from injury from my foot off the bike, on a good day I max out at 27mph on the flat so 40 is wow but it is a decent though! Can't wait to ride again after nearly two weeks off. Any tips to getting back to training again?

The car confirmed my feeling that your speedo is out. You guys were going way faster then 60km! That's average speed limit on Aussie roads. At least 70-75kms! Crazy! So much fun to watch, I was mesmerised.

ok maybe my all time speed is 40 kmh, how can you guys be so chill about those speeds, i mean as a guy who is used to bike around streets like this one (not at these speeds) and i mean even 25 kmh on a bike makes you feel extremely fast. when i reach 30/35kmh i get tears; and these guys are faster than cars and look so calm at the same time
This is the one of the few videos I've seen that really shows the grade of the road (the others have been of the downhill MTB races in the Alps.) Most videos, it seems, make 10% grades look easy and shallow - here I'm really seeing how steep these grades are. It's amazing. I watch these videos while riding rollers and I rode off them a couple times while trying to lean too enthusiastically into the turns. Would also really like to see footage of you guys climbing as well...

I hit 41.5 mph today for my first time. super fun!! I think I hit the limit with the bike, Emonda. I don't wear proper road bike clothes, just my mntn bike kit, it probably held me back some. But I was maxed out as far as the gearing goes. had a fukn blast!!! :)
Man road bike looks a lot of fun but I know I will feel so fragile on it. Though I want the comfort of my hardtail and the speed of a road bike. Probably gonna end up putting some semi slick tires. I am proud though I managed to hit 50.8 mph going down the mandeville canyon rd, fun times, scary

In 1989 I was in a bike race in fayettville Arkansas and hit speeds at 52 mph, pretty breath taking.
It's such a good feeling when there's no traffic on the road and you don't have to pay attention to that and go full speed 😀

I still don't know how you go so fast. The fastest I've gotten on my bike is about 30 mph and that's on a huge downhill.
