      The speed limits in canyons take into account the worst type of vehicle that may be driving on them like a high center of gravity SUV at risk of roll over with bad tires. Sports cars you can take 20 mph limit corners at 45 in many cases.

    At these speeds and at that decent, any mistakes are probably instant death, which seems like the thrill of it all. This looks like a realistic video game. I love how they are metering those turns. This takes an amazing amount of skill, keep up the great work guys.

      You definitely wouldn't die unless you flew off the edge and hit something. But you'd get some horrible, *horrible* road rash..

    • @sidvicious3129
      @sidvicious3129 2 года назад +8

      @@twoclownin This applies probably more to walking, but have you ever walked slowly into a room (walking wide around the opening of that room) but not going directly into that room as if you are expecting something to pop out at you. As you slowly do this you are seeing your way into the room without that person or thing seeing you. This is metering and it is a trained technic for the Military and Police Departments all over the world and it is a natural reaction for some people. For biking, it is more about learning how to take a turn (prepare for it) on either a motorcycle, car, or bicycle racing.

    Awesome 👏🏻 😮easily one of the best cycling 🚴‍♂️ videos I've seen in some time. (The freedom. Speed. Grace. Allure. Masterful technique. No Coaches yelling at them.) This is why I loved cycling 🚴‍♂️ and plan on returning to it again one day, finances and life circumstances considered

    ok maybe my all time speed is 40 kmh, how can you guys be so chill about those speeds, i mean as a guy who is used to bike around streets like this one (not at these speeds) and i mean even 25 kmh on a bike makes you feel extremely fast.
    when i reach 30/35kmh i get tears; and these guys are faster than cars and look so calm at the same time

    This is the one of the few videos I've seen that really shows the grade of the road (the others have been of the downhill MTB races in the Alps.) Most videos, it seems, make 10% grades look easy and shallow - here I'm really seeing how steep these grades are. It's amazing. I watch these videos while riding rollers and I rode off them a couple times while trying to lean too enthusiastically into the turns. Would also really like to see footage of you guys climbing as well...

    Congrats on the new bike. What is the biggest difference with the new bike compared to the Aragon 16 performance wise?

    • @SAFABrian
      @SAFABrian  4 года назад +9

      Faster due to aerodynamic tubing. Tracks more easily through corners. Point and shoot 🔫

      @@SAFABrian dude I was on the old EVO now on the 2020 supersix model. Same thing extra 10-15 kmh on the top end when decending. Enjoy, hit us up if you come to South Africa.

    Penang Island Malaysia great for cyclists, amazing camaraderie. My favourite down hills can get me up to 50ks! That's fast enough on my MTB, Rocky Mountain!

    I hit 41.5 mph today for my first time. super fun!! I think I hit the limit with the bike, Emonda. I don't wear proper road bike clothes, just my mntn bike kit, it probably held me back some. But I was maxed out as far as the gearing goes. had a fukn blast!!! :)

    Man road bike looks a lot of fun but I know I will feel so fragile on it. Though I want the comfort of my hardtail and the speed of a road bike. Probably gonna end up putting some semi slick tires. I am proud though I managed to hit 50.8 mph going down the mandeville canyon rd, fun times, scary
