You said at the end of your video, it's an off road machine. They're going to get dusty, dirty, and muddy. I had a pioneer for seven years and my biggest complaint was cleaning it, especially the back seats.
Can you go through the mods you did for intake and battery. I haven't found info on the intake mod, you are the one that brought that option to my attention. Also, your battery install is particularly clean. It would be nice to see more details on both. It wouldn't have to be a detailed install video, just talk about things you considered and links to where you got the ideas. Great door seal solution, thanks for that. Nevermind found @NCdragon21 under 2nd Battery
Pipe insulation. I bought it at my local plumbing and heating supply store. I noticed that Walmart has some, but the wall thickness was thin. I used those push in plastic automotive fasteners to attach it to the door. Thanks for watching. Nevin
@@weekendplowboy thanks for the information. I did notice later you said that in the video. My bad! One more question. What size foam did you buy for the doors?
@@jakesmith2693 I bought 3 or 4 different sizes. Main thing is the wall thickness needs to be thick enough to fill the gap. I think I used 3/8” and some 1/2” wall thickness.

I need to do this. Best fix out there! Thanks for posting!
Thanks, do you have a link to the type of rattle proof material you used for the doors?
@@diySolarPowerFunWithRay no link. I got it at a local supply store. It is pipe insulation and comes in multiple sizes. Thank you for watching.
@@weekendplowboy perfect. Thanks
To me the clicking noise the transmission makes is worse than the door rattles
Great info for us that are looking to buy :)
Good luck finding one, I had to travel 300 miles to find one. There in short supply.

Great video! I’m going to give this a try on mine. Where did you get your rear window and what is it?
Jake, The rear window is the Super ATV hard rear window. We really like it. It does scratch up some though.

Well done. Good tips for sure.
Awesome! What exactly did you use for the door seals?
He used foam pipe insulation fastened with body panel push pins.
What did you use to fasten the pipe insulation to the machine?
I used the self adhesive strip where I could. The insulation that is cut to fit the doors is held on with 1/4” nylon shield retainers.
Thanks for sharing
Where did you find that Grates hose for the intake?
Hi Joe, I picked it up at my local auto parts. It can also be found on Amazon.
Go Penn State!!

Yes, I will give it a try.

You shouldn't need to do any of this for the cost of the machine!
This is a SXS, not a Jeep.
