Hello! I have a laotie ti30-II. I have a problem with charging the battery, charger says green but its not fully loaded, just around 57 v now. I checked chargers with multimeter and they are ok, cotrollers are working and both engines are working fine. The problem came when I got water inside where battery is placed. Do u know if there is a fuse somewhere, I cant find any fuses. Sorry for me bad English, Iam from Sweden. Thanx. Best regards Per
Nice video I‘ve fot an Laotie ES8 and like a few days it didn‘t start anymore. I don‘t think it‘s the battery, because the charger works and charges the battery. They sent me another battery and this don‘t work either. So I thought it may be the motor controller. Do you have any idea what could it be?
Bateria w es18p ładuje mi się do 65.3v i ładowarka odcina ładowanie - swieci się na zielono. Mierzone miernikiem na podeście. Co może być tego przyczyna? Czy reset bms może pomoc?
Hi, I have a Laotie es18 (without battery), I want to build the same battery as yours, but with the highest quality cells... I found out from yours the video that you have a battery made up of 7 blocks (7x2 blocks/series), in each series you have 16 cells of type 21700, 3.7V, 4800mAh and I assume 15A because scooter has cca 95A and 15Ax7blocks=105A (in norm), so the whole battery has 59.2V= 60V nominal (when I calculate 3.7-4.2V) or 67.2V designed, 7x4800=33400Ah, but I don't know the last thing. what kind of BMS is there, I see that it is designed for 16 series "bs-12560-16s" even if it only has 14 or 7x2 (from each side of the series/block), I don't know what Ampere is used for BMS (example 40A) (surge protection?)? Thank you for any answer, I'm a novice in the field of scooters and I've only been studying it for a few days, if I'm wrong, please correct me.
Do you have a link for that power source? What is the voltage range? I was looking for a universal charger for multiple scooters. To my suprise there is no easy option. So maybe the power source would be a good option? I got 60v- and 72v scooters. Yes i know more caution needs to be taken when setting amps and volts but itd be nice to just have one charger.
Get a Grin Cycle Satiator. Its not cheap but its one of the best programmable chargers on the market that can also show you capacity measurements and charging curve graphs. There is a piece of software for PC that you can use to program presets into the charger for easy swapping between different voltages.
I have an 8A 67.2V charger. Can I charge it Laotie es18P? Is there too much current.? Will it be safe? Do you solder one more plug in parallel to it and then connect it to both ports? What may be the maximum charge current for Laotie es18P?
@@PirateWasHere thank you very much for your answer. Then I will not risk damaging the bms. sometimes I go outside the city for about 40 km and I have to recharge there again. On two 2A chargers, charging took me 6 hours, which disorganizes the trip. I once saw on the internet that someone was selling 8A chargers dedicated to Laotie with double plugs. The charger I bought also someone boasted of using Laotie. Unfortunately, for me, these were unreliable sources of information without technical and practical details.
Hi! Can you help me pls? I have an TI30 i have make P08 to 45 km/h. It’s worked fine. I hasn’t used it for 2 weeks and now it can’t hold the speed . I mean it goes to 48,47…..and back again and again. The speed is bouncing. Only the front motor. What can be the issue? Pls help thank you so much.
could be da,aged controller or motor, even wire can be cut somewhere close the motor, or even tiny 1$ hall sensor need to be replace. Hard to say over distance
@@PirateWasHere I prefer a fork suspension .... I'm looking at buying a Geofought scooter, it has 2 4000 watt motors 72 volt 50 amp Panasonic battery 13 inch tires ... It's 2000 ... And it looks like a tank, it has a fork suspension similar to the Ti30
@@PirateWasHere Hey bro. I'm looking at a scooter .... 2 7500 watt motors totaling 15000 Watts! ... 72 Volt 60 amp Panasonic battery ... Dual 72 volt 50 amp controllers ... For 2500, and the scooter looks tanky and beeefy. It's a chinese scooter from Alibaba, the specs to price are very good. And the parts they seem to put on it are also very good. Let me know if u want me to send u a picture of the scooter with alibaba link. It has 2 springs in the back as a suspension... Also, I've been trying to get the lightest scooter too. I don't like all the lights and stuff that come on scooters .. seems like extra weight only for looks, which I'm not interested in. Plus, if I want to add on those lights and stuff, I Can always buy an Acrylic deck.
Wow! Excellent job. Very methodical. I just ordered this scooter off of Banggood for 999.99. Is that a fair price for this particular scooter? Thank you and have a fantastic day. 👍
I’m pleased you got it sorted mate and it was a very easy fix. It’s always nice with the know how👍🏽😉. Thanks for doin the video. Keep scooting

The bms goes to protection mode or sleep mode due the low voltage..

it will be overkill for BMS , it's pretty hot at 5A, so with 8A could overheat
