      @@BuildShipAppi want to see more production ready apps being built in the same way as this video while breaking the how & WHY lof the project ike you did in this video.
      The reason being is that beginners often follow instructions but don't actually understand what they are doing
      A lot of tutorials in general create good mimicks but usually don't do much in helping the person following the tutorial understand what exactly they need to do and why they need to do it and how to implement it to their own projects which in turn means they can't apply what they have learnt rendering the tutorial useless.
      Maybe start off with something like a crm saas project. Or a content writer (think jasper)
      Also try and get some ai based projects both openai and open source. People knowing how to set up and use AI using build ship should bring in a lot of new customers imo.
      Maybe how to build a chatgpt clone, an AI business assistant, e-commerce store/app (showing the entire workflow)
      One thing I'd like to see as well if feasible is a trading bot. The bull market is coming soon and people are looking for ways to build trading bots easily build ship could be their go to for that potentially.

      @@BuildShipApp Hey, can we explore FlutterFlow, Buildship, and Supabase in terms of:
      1. Authentication (how Buildship should handle Auth with Supabase).
      2. Supabase API (similar to what was demonstrated in this video).
      3. CRUD functions and logic, for instance, ensuring only the user who created a post can edit and delete it.
      I think this would be beneficial for many users. Here's a suggestion: you could turn this into a series. Since this video is already on FlutterFlow, Buildship, and Rowy, you could continue and follow up with Supabase when the series is completed.

    Do you got any advice on what to do, if "Body JSON" in Flutterflow is "null" although the test API call succeeded? I got every information I wanted in "Raw Body" but I don't know what to put in order to get access to it via "Body JSON".

    Thanks for this tutorial. Unfortunately flutterflow does not allow importing API yaml on the free plan. I'm pretty new to no code but could you recommend a way for me to make it work by adding it manually? Any reference docs or articles I could read up?
    Also, I couldn't find the exact OpenAI API option. I had to select the text generator option. The UI seems to have changed on buildship.

    • @BuildShipApp
      @BuildShipApp  9 месяцев назад +1

      You can manually add the API , export is just an convenient option. To add it manually copy the API url and go to the API tab of FlutterFlow and add it. Join us on discord if any question and we can help you out: buildship.com/discord

    if you have null in JSON body in Flutterflow you might need to change the format in Buildship, for example:
    `{
    "names":"${(x)productname}"
    }`
    if you look at it well, you will see that it is not the same as in the video. really annoying to miss out something like this

  • @easy-freelancing
    @easy-freelancing 2 месяца назад

    Whats with CORS? Can we solve this Problem with buildship?

    • @BuildShipApp
      @BuildShipApp  2 месяца назад

      Yeah, it’s a pain, right @easy-freelancing? CORS (Cross-Origin Resource Sharing) can feel like a roadblock, especially during development, but it’s actually a browser security feature designed to protect users by preventing malicious websites from accessing resources on other domains without permission.
      In a nutshell, CORS ensures that your web app can only request data from the same domain it was loaded from-unless the server explicitly allows cross-origin requests by sending the proper headers (Access-Control-Allow-Origin, etc.).
      While it may seem frustrating, especially during development, it’s ultimately a safeguard for your app and your users.
      Now, when it comes to solving CORS issues in BuildShip, there are a few options. Since BuildShip operates primarily on the server side, we can bypass the browser’s CORS restrictions by setting up proxy requests on the backend. This way, your BuildShip functions can handle requests to external APIs without worrying about CORS.
      Additionally, BuildShip allows for custom server-side configurations where we can add CORS headers directly, making it easier to manage cross-origin requests. Unlike on the frontend (where FlutterFlow offers toggles to help mitigate CORS), BuildShip gives us more control to solve these issues at the source.
      In short, yes, BuildShip can absolutely help solve CORS issues-either by setting up server-side proxies or by ensuring the correct CORS headers are in place.

      This workflow takes a few ms to run, so depending on the way you have built your workflow if it takes say for example 200ms to run, then the pro plan of $79 per month is enough - as that gives you 70 execution hours, so with 200ms workflows you can get 1.26M executions!!

      Rowy is still a good product if you want to manage your data on Firestore database and BuildShip lets you create your entire backend and logic visually. HEre is a video explaning how you can connect BuildShip and Rowy if you want: ruclips.net/video/mkuu_0V8dLw/видео.html
