you guys want more deepwoken? I can make these vids longer aswell since its more progression but if I do that there will be less edits in the video so I dont know which one you guys want, let me know. oh ye, suggest somes games too if you want 😉
Hey HW, here's a tip you might wanna use to negate damage during PVE and PVP, if you have enough tempo (Which is the bar at the very bottom that flashes blue), you can press g to vent, knocking enemies away from you. You can use this mid combo and just generally when you need it. Once you have over half your tempo bar, you can vent.
yup im using this as a copy paste Hey, here's a tip you might wanna use to negate damage during PVP, if you have enough tempo (Which is the bar at the very bottom that flashes blue), you can press g to vent, knocking enemies away from you. You can use this mid combo and just generally when you need it. Once you have about half or more of your tempo bar, you can vent.
Hey HW, if you didn't know there is a feature called “venting” its very useful in pvp whenever you need it. You press G whenever the tiny bar between your hot bar and the ether bar is more than halfway filled. It basically pushes enemies away from you if you’re missing a bunch of parries and you need to get people off of you.
About ganks: In deepwoken, its literally a point to feed higher levels kills (and nobody wants to die to a max level as a freshie) theres also a origin called void walkers, these (LOSERS) will kill you for exp. They will teleport to you and have a short vision on where you are located. They have to ways to teleport to you, one being "Ferociously" which has a low rumbling audio cue . They also have a way to teleport stealthily, which plays no sound but teleports them further away. To avoid this, if you hear a low rumbling sound (Its pretty recognizable when you hear it) and nobody else is around but you, I recommend LEAVING IMMEDIATELY if you dont want player confrontation. You also ALWAYS want to log via the main menu, or you can still be combat tagged because your player model stays a few seconds after you alt f4. Also, heres a list of people you see you want to avoid first off, people with orange and blueish clothing, (Voidwalkers) also people with a swirling black aura around them (It means voidwalkers are on a hunt) People with a long dark shadowy sword (dont take that out of context plz) crypt blade users are especially violent towards freshies people with strings along their shoulders and arms (Contractors) again, these people are known freshie grippers and you will want to log if you see them and one more tip: if you see two people running 1s near nomad camp you do not want to go near them, those people are always the pvp demons and they will grip you if you're too close. have fun getting deep HW, I love your videos!
for new players: to avoid feeling like you wanna quit every time you join the game you have to come prepared that you will wipe at least twice. don't feel attached to your character at all
Also Hw, when going into your inv on your right you see skill points. You can use these by using items like the weapon manual and the dumbell etc. the dumbell gives strength and each item has their own buff. once you use all 15, you power up and can get a new ability and buffs.
Yo HW, just wanted to tell under your Ether bar you have a small bar called "Tempo" once you reach a certain % you can click on g to push back players and npc to escape combo you can also click control and m1 at the same time for an uppercut, to get armor give a schematic to a blacksmith and buy or grind all the necessary items to craft them, also i recommend using your mantras/moves more often against npc.
Another way to practice PvE is to try and beat the Trial of One, this will allow you to have experience depending on the mobs and it is also good to make progressions more faster, this trial is located at Minityrsa near a Stronghold at the rear right corner of the island, but keep in mind you have to be power 1 (Level 1) and you have only one try per life
Here’s a tip: Keep track of your blood, hunger, and thirst. I noticed that on some parts of the video those bars were really low. You can find them on the bottom left corner of your screen. You can regain blood (the red bar) by sitting at a campfire but your hunger and thirst will decrease faster. You can increase hunger (the yellow bar) by, well, eating. You can get food by either crafting or buying it. One food you can craft would be bread which only requires 3 wheat. (Note: in order for the recipe to work you must be sitting at a campfire). You can increase thirst (the blue bar) by drinking out of wells in different towns. For example there is a well right outside the docks of etris. I hope this helps! (Oh yeah and if all these bars run out you instantly die.)
I'm happy about the fact my comment was featured in the video because now people will know what to do when starting the game and I'm also glad it had a positive impact on your gameplay. Also next time you wipe (it is inevitable) choose the lone warrior origin to learn more about monsters and how to fight them.
Another tip : If you want to practice even futher your skill you can do the trial of one. Its located at minityrsa (snow island) in some sort of temple but you can only do it once per life and you also need to be power 1.
You need to get used to using your mantras(magic). If you are capable of doing so, you can create mix-ups with your other attacks. Makes both grinding and pvp a lot easier.
as a tip from a deepwoken solo player You should keep progression a little bit safe like killing bandits till level 10 i would say, after that I recommend watching a tutorial on how to a kill a creature named sharko or megaladaunt. Its basically a mini boss like thing in game and its good for progression They spawn in whispering caverns or viper's jaw (i forgot the place's name) Though be careful its a common spot to level up. and i would recommend Getting in a guild and getting officer rank in it (Its easy since it doesnt have any permissions simply asking might work) you can put down a guild base which you can have a campfire on stand-by. also If i remember correctly after level 10 u will have a bounty which some players called voidwalkers will come after you. if you turn up the volume you can hear them 99% of the time and i would suggest logging since ur new to the game.
Hey HW you know that purple item you have in your inventory called a blast spark, it's a mantra modifier meaning it'll buff your move. If you put it on "electro carve" the AOE will be INSANE and the damage output skyrockets. I'd recommend researching how to modify mantas since it's a little difficult to explain
For Beginners in the bottom left you have three bars representing Hunger=Yellow Blue=Thirst and Red=Blood If you fight dagger units your blood drops much quicker then normal Make sure that your stats are equal instead of in favor like if you had 90 strenght and 10 fortitude ect
Bad advice stats be distributed far apart for example 50 str 40 fortitude maybe be more tanky then 90 str 10 fortitude but it will deal significantly less damage There are some very good talents locked behind high investments Including all the dead gods and million ton piercer at 90 strength
@@splobby I never said it was bad I said it was situational for example on my gran suda tryna get the max damage I went 90 str to maximise damage at the cost of health
Heya, Thats some nice progress you're doing mate, one thing tho, if you end up wiping you can try to do the lone warrior origin (its unlocked on your first wipe) its basicaly a better tutorial for fighting monsters you will commonly find ingame, and if completed you get a boost to power 8ish, it is hard tho keep in mind, but take it like a tutorial and not a skill check
One thing I highly recommend is making another slot where you farm something called trial of one, this is located in ministya (I think I spelt it wrong) and you need to be level 1 for it. It’s 9 trials of npc’s that you can fight to get a boost in your player progression but can also be helpful to practice parrying npcs, projectiles, and dodging. Overall it will boost your PVE status highly if you get to a point where you keep training and you end up beating it!
@@moonguy3580 nah buddy he just started, it will get boring after 36 attempts. Trust me its better that he explores the world first and get to know the mechanic of leveling up, getting to know talents and how to really make builds
@@poseidon7000im still not that crazy at the game but when i got past the angels in TOO and decided to stick with that slot the diff from before and after TOO grinding was like day and night
Small tip: you can press [T] to spit, deepwoken calls it a "taunt" but you can call it either a spit or a taunt. What this does is lower your posture (that yellow bar above ur hp when u block attacks or get parried) and gives you minimal amount of health, best time to spit is after you parry an opponent's attack. If you spit to an opponent, green particle will spawn out of you showing that you healed and blurs the enemy screen for a short period of time. However be aware that when spitting, your character will be locked in a position and won't allow you to turn until the saliva you have spat out shows or when the spit sound effect plays. Don't abuse this too much in pvp combat because the enemy can strike back while you're done spitting or in a spitting stance. Hope this helps.
Here are some Tips if you need them: G to Vent (when your blue bar below the green bar is filled enough) CTRL to Slide (Used as movement mechanic) R to Crit its used to Guardbreak people or do unexpected attacks CTRL + M1/M2 to Uppercut (sends people in air and makes a window for Combos) Hope this helped you Kissy for you Pookie Wookie. 😘
Hey HW, here’s a visual tip not for PvP or grinding if you press Y you can two hand hold your sword which you can then give you a card that increases posture. Also pressing P can hide the vanity of your hat, you can take it on and off. Hope this helps! Enjoy deepwoken.
Sick video once again, HW! A huge tip is that the talents and abilities you get are directly related to how much you put into them- for example, since you only had a bit of Thundercall while progressing you could only get zero and one star moves. At 30 and 50 thunder points you'll be able to pick from a bigger variety of moves (there's a really powerful one at 50!) that can show up in your powerup cards. Similarly, getting certain milestones in stats will let you get better talents. Ghost shows up at 40 Agility, for example; so you can either make the choice to get up to 75 in one or two stats, or balance your stats out more to get a wider range of talents- it's one of the biggest parts of Deepwoken, so you can put a ton of creative flair into your build and really make it your own. Some weapons also need stat prerequisites to use (like a better sword requiring some medium weapon investment) which is really useful to invest into, even if you plan on sticking with the basic sword for a while. Higher weapon stat means you'll deal more damage.
tips: if you wiped I'd suggest you to sail to the trial of one (you need level 1 to be there EXACTLY level 1) the entrance is located under the stronghold in minityrsa , it will level you up at least 10 levels or maybe make you level 8 or 9, there's also some certain origins that you would unlock if you do certain things, which you will learn later, and also to save yourself from an M1 combo just press G and boom they will get off, but that is when you fill up the small bar you also need to eat and drink because if you do not you will lose hp and you will be weakened, also you can do CTRL to slide, and R to do a heavy hit, and also CTRL + m1 / m2 (uppercut) can send people to the air which helps you combo more and that's all I can help you with, also your videos inspires me to play the game, I have it purchased but due to my SEVERE skill issue with parrying I don't play it, but since you're playing it I might as well play it.
if you dash cancel you can actually dash again (double dash) !!! PRESS G TO VENT (Vent is something like evasive) max power of this game is 20!!! i recommend to go for simple build like Strength - 25 (Get good strength talents that you think it good) Fortitude - 40 (Get like Exoskeleton and good fortitude talents and 25 fort and 25 agility will get you condition runner [it will regen ya health if you run around]) Agility -60 (Now you have ghost 60 agility is for cheap shot [extra penetrate] and tap dancer [shorter double dash cooldown] and go for jetstriker oath bc it easy) Intelligence - 2 (this stat point is very strong for mage build but you need to have some knowledge about making a build because it like advance stats hard to play with it) willpower - 25 (some talents that give you extra health need req of fortitude and willpower and willpower make you get some sanity to make you character harder to get crazy when you in the depth) charisma - 0 (this is like intelligence it a lot stronger than some stats but req knowledge to making build because it advance stats and hard to play with!!) Medium weapon - 100 (make you weapon do a lot damage and get some good weapon talents) Thundercall - 75 (get some good thundercall talents and mantras that you think it good) That all the tip i can give for beginner you can see the keybind at the top left of you screen click on the question mark and there will be some tip (the door ui that next to it is for return to menu i recommend to use it if you want to leave the game cuz alt + f4 will make you character stay in game for 2 sec before leave but door method won't make you character stay in game for 2 sec) i love you to try on deepwoken for a long time it fun for us to watch you play the game that we love and good luck hw!
For some quick tips: Take all the health talents Head to the Eastern Luminant (sail through the big gates near the giant statue) Press G to vent, knocking opponents away. Press ctrl m1 to uppercut Press Y to enter a 1 handed stance allowing you to do more posture damage And to escape the depths, head into the big cathedral in the city
You already know its gonna be a great vid, Also wiping in deepwoken is part of the game so you can make brand new builds and better playing time. Also another heads up is that your blue bar is water your orange bar is food and your red one is blood make sure you dont let your blood run out or else you will jus bleed out. For your water if it runs out you loose hp over time and your screen is blury make sure you have all bars up same for hunger bar. last thing is you need to sit a campfires to regain HP you can find campfire at bandit outpost minityrsa etc hope this helps. :)
Here's a game i thought of its called pilgrimmed, it's like deepwoken but a bit more forgiving than it, the community is nice and a pretty easy game to pick up. (The bosses might be a bit hard though but I'm sure you'll deal with it.)
Game idea: peroxide (bleach game, its similiar to kaizen, same stuff but different progressions because its bleach). Arcane odissey: (like deepwoken but it has a very cool story). Chainsawman devil heart: (game about chainsaw man, you wont get any chainsawman power unless you find a devil heart wich spawn randomly around the map. Its kinda boring but you might find it funny. Berserk battlegrounds: very simple game yet very good. It has only guts and paid access griffith for now but you might have fun with it. Marvellous playground: a battleground game with many characters from movies, shows and anime or cartoons. Apeirhophobia: game about backrooms, fun to play with friends. I got more but im tired of typing
if you really want to get good at the game you’re going to have to fight monsters, you unlock the lone warrior origin by wiping a character if you choose it you go in a trial where you fight a majority of the mobs in the game, this is usually the first step in going from a complete noob to someone more experienced
Here’s a very big tip for Erisia. There are white figures with “coral” on their backs called sharkos, they follow a pattern of slash then kick or slash slash kick. They’ll do alarm like sound before they kick. I would suggest dodging the kick and parrying the slash, they also will obliterate your posture (basically your guard limit) if you block. There’s also crab like monsters on Erisia… stay away from them for now, you’re not always him.
a small tip when someone or something is swinging a weapon there is a little star on top of the weapon indicating when u have to press f to parry it (the light blue bar aka ether aka ur mana and the bar under it is called "tempo" which u can then press g if its in the dark blue color to make a thing called vent aka push someone or something away from u wont work if they block it or parry it btw) also the bandits in black clothing and all with daggers wont grip u they are just gonna rob u from ur notes they are in group of three also over power 5 or 6 (not sure atm) voidwalkers aka the assasins origin can take bounties on u be careful since they can teleport near u if they have bounty on you only once for the hunt tho also if u find a blast spark u can put it on the electro carve at a mantra modifying table with the mantra u can recall the mantra at a campfire to add the ingridient to it blast spark makes something like domain expansion like or u can put an magnet spark onto it which will make u throw a orb of lightning which will attach onto enemies and then starts a beeping countdown and its gonna expand on them and deal damage the easiest way to obtain these is thru mudskippers chests (the zombie looking like monsters) also they can drop mantra modifying ingridients directly too it is visualized by purple color in the inventory also the blue cards u get are legendaries which can be obtained by a set requirement u got ghost which needs 40 agility and all butterfly talents
the butterfly talents is just a talent cattegory the talents is like evasive expert then in a smaller text there is a cattegory of it like butterfly or health pack which is misc etc...
If your ever gonna go back and test your strength at Ersia, better place to game is: when you go up the hill (bandits that tried to ambush you hill), take a right instead of a left once you get to the top. You’ll see a cave once walking through the little crevice. That my friend will prove your true skill. (Battle tip: The enemy inside there’s foot is unparryable, you must dodge.)
Now man next thing you wanna do is go to second sea to songseeker then level up there untill like 13-15 the go to the starswept valley (the monsters there are powerfull be cearfull) become lvl 17 there then you can do bossfights to get max(max is lvl 20)
Whenever you're fighting things, focus on parrying and only roll whenever an enemy feints. In pvp whenever someone swings they can feint the attack and do another swing which can be hard to learn at first. GL HW, I've been enjoying your deepwoken videos :D
some things id like to recomend are the little white flashes above the enemies weapon is when you press F to parry, it helps you and gives a little frame to parry, also I recomend you stay still instead of always backing up so much try not to hold the S key too much as it can be punishable, you can also roll again imiditley after a roll cancel, so double roll canceling is a fun thing to do. Also try pressing G when the bar in blue is above half and you can do a vent blasting anything away so you can escape combos or if you miss some parries, but if nothings hit by your vent you are stuck standing still for a bit Im only 4 mins in writing this so if you do some of the things I said sorry about that. Just have fun and try not to get too attatched to your first slots, just explore, learn and adapt and start searching for some builds you might wanna make, read up on talents and maybe try some pvp!
i cant belive he didint get the best 2 low level mantras even by accident reffering too jolt grab, lightning impact for more tips if u ever do a video on deepwoken again. First- i recommend investing a ton of points into ur element-Thundercall so u can get a path which changes ur lightning from yellow to blue and has adictional buffs also u get better moves. second- u can upgrade ur moves if u find the thundercall trainer he is on an island called summer isle (u might need to google the location) third- i recommend making or joining a guild u get a nice spawnable base u can place pretty much anywhere that should last a bit sorry if i made any spelling mistakes English aint my main language. hope u see this
Tip: In Etris, you can collect mushrooms and at a campfire, you can craft mushroom soup by combining 2 mushrooms together (To craft, its above your inventory.)
Cool tip: when fighting several enemies you can press V on the one who was hit to prevent him from getting up, while he is on your shoulder you can grab and fight other NPCs. When you get hit or press V again it will come off your shoulder.
There is a life saving thing when you fight, and this is called "tempo" (you can see your tempo bar below your health bar). When you start a combat, your tempo gonna be filled and this is letting you push enemies backward to escape a combo by pressing G ! But be careful, you can't use it if your tempo is not enough fulfill so use it wisely ;)
I’ve been waiting for the second episode of deepwoken! Also one tip is to create a second slot and choose the lone warrior origin and keep practicing trial of one, it helps a lot with pve and monsters.
Pro tip: The best ways to get exp ARE from mobs and bosses. Go to sharko cave and cheese the sharko and he gives really good exp for low levels. The cheese method makes it easy for you to learn him too. Another way to learn most of the mobs in the game is trial of 1. Trial of 1 is not only mob fights as there is 1 hard stage where you have to fight angels. Once you learn to beat angels your parry game gonna get right. Trial of 1 has been proven to make people way better at the game and in my opinion it was the best addition to the progression of deepwoken for newer players. btw beating trial of one gets you power 6. If you have autodidact boon you get power 7.
Under your ether bar (the light blue bar under hp) is your tempo bar. When you get hit it rises and when you press G you can use your tempo to push anything attacking you back, let’s say your getting attacked by a mudskipper(zombie thing) and you can parry its punches you can press G and it will get sent back I also strongly recommend that you practice fighting monsters like the megoladaunt(sharko) at lower Erisia.
If you want to easily escape from fights like from npcs or players, I recommend getting an oath, with it being jetstriker, it requires 50 agility and you can get it at a snow island
(game recommendations) Try to play arcane odyssey its actually a really good game i enjoyed alot myself so i think you may have a good experience with it
HW u should put your points in weapon by using a weapon maniul put in fortatude by using a trainig vest/boulder boulder is better and put in tundercall also you should upgrade your tundercall skills by talking to the tundercall teacher in summer island and try beating a boss when you are lvl 15 or smg duke is the first boss you should fight also try finding a teammate it makes the game more fun and easy i recommand you fight duke after 100hours+ on the game so you have combat experions
You should try alternate battlegrounds. Its a game from before battlegrounds game were big and its about undertale and its alternate universes (original characters). You could also try utpr whihc is simillar but is way harder to play since the combat isnt braindead.
I said this in the last video I’ll recommend it again I highly recommend you get an extra slot and learn to do trial of one. Just like the trainer this is a good way to increase your combat experience against different types of mobs. If you learn to complete it it’ll give you a good couple of levels to start the game. Also I recommend you get the dash skill in erisia. It’s a talent you have transfer over all your slots. This allows for you to air dash.
Here are a few tips for deepwoken If you block break/posture break something keep hitting it its free damage Heavy is hard to master but really good Best place to grind after erisia or if you are good trial of one(more on it after this) is songseeker isle, which is located forward and left after entering the big gate infront of vigils Trial of one could really help you, it is located infront of vigils through the big gate and at the snowy island near the glaciers Trial of one helps you learn to parry and fight some of the mobs on an easier level Dont go out too far or you will reach the scary place called void sea(you dont wanna be there)
Good to see new players joining and not quitting also good tip press G to get out of combo press right click after left click to feint your attacks also you MUST leave deepwoken by pressing the door icon on the top left corner only also playing deepwoken blindly is a bad idea but you can still enjoy the game without wiki and guide I guess?
HUGE TIP: PLEASE put a blast spark on your electro carve, it will make the area much bigger and soo much better, way more uses on that version than that default version, to do this just find a blast spark so just try to beg random ppl for one, go to a campfire and press the mantra tab that shows up. Click on electro carve then press the button that says unequip, go to a mantra table that should be at the place where you buy flint a Etris, it has a black panel where you put the mantra bubble that you got, put the mantra bubble on and the blast spark and once BOTH are on, press the interact button and Boom, you have your newly improved mantra!
You should play swordburst 2, really fun game starting off, you might drop it pass lvl 100 cause lvl gets tedious but it’ll be really fun starting off and to watch
i reccomend you vent if you are getting pressed in combat. basically you press g when the bar under your ether is blue. if you do this you will shoot a very small attack that knocks the enemy back, giving you some breathing room
Hey HW! You should play Project XL , it's a simple but really fun grinding game, you've played it in the past but it's been updated a LOT. Good to spend some robux on it too ;)
Also a tip would be to only get 80 stats in ur element since you don’t need any higher and can upgrade mantras to level 5. If this build doesn’t end up wiping make it a proper build by using these stats which work from your current stats 40str 40fort 48agil 4intel 5will 25char 80thunder 85med but u could also go 50 fort and get 75med ur choice Main Talent to go for is ghost (u already have this) showstopper, tough love, charismatic cast, exoskeleton, old habits die hard those are main talents u want. Also you should make a build to prog.
You can feint an m1 by pressing m2 mid m1, this will make the npcs automatically parry so they go on parry cooldown and u can hit them or their block, you can also feint mantras (magic abilities) by pressing m1 and m2 at the same time during a mantra
tip: Once your above power 3, you can safely go to the depths by killing yourself twice. The depths is super good for grinding loot nothing dangerous will attack you cuz the big black owl and megalodaunts dont spawn in the depths cuz they only spawn in the surface also you can die as much as you want in the depths with no risk, if you wanna go back to the surface just head to the gate thats always opened and do the lift and dont worry there is nothing that will attack you above lvl 3 and especially 10
HW, you should only be extremely scared like you were with other players- ones with black tendrils around their dark armor. They are voidwalkers.... assassins that try to kill you. You should also simply be careful around erisia. Like get some gear and exp then go back to vigils and sell stuff, maybe get some extra exp then you can repeat. Players are JERKS TO FRESHIES OR IN GENERAL IN THIS GAME or at least a lot of them are. Also, if you like those lightning spells you simply hit enemies for extra exp and when you lvl up lightning you can get more spells.
By the way hw the blue small bar below your ether bar is a vent, if you press g it knocks opponents away and it can be used in stun so it’s basically like an evasive, you can only use it when the little blue bar shines bright
Yo HW, here's a tip for a lil combat thingy, if you're fighting one of those dagger guys, if you press G and your blue bar at the bottom is past the line, you can do a evasive giving you more time to parry/attack
You can press G to vent, which knocks back enemies and can break you out of getting comboed. But use this only when you really need to because you need Tempo (Glowing dark blue bar). You gain Tempo from attacking and being attacked.
Yo HW keep in mind that wiping is a part of the game , you'll just get a new progression and level up even faster with the knowledge you get on your previous progressions
HW the star points you invest matter depending what you choose lets you get certain cards like for example 40 fortitude gets you a card that gives you an extra mini armor bar
You should try guts and blackpowder, its about a zombie virus breaking out in the Napoleonic wars, theres campaigns and endless modes. I recommend to play with friends or with other people because it is somewhat difficult. It would be better to play then listen to a random talk about it.
I just started deepwoken a month ago, but I gotten used to it, for beginners you should try getting a party, and grind bandits, then eventually fighting other mobs like the megolaudant, IF your good at parrying and dodging, which I’m mediocre, also if your ever in the depths and you see a cactus guy, *Run*
You know super mario smash bros? there's basically that in roblox and its multiplayer with a whole bunch of players in the server or in 1V1s , its called Project Smash, i'd heavily recommend you to play it!
If you die 2 times in a roll you will be sent to the depths, and if you die there you get wiped, but if you power/level up while you are out of the depths you recover a life, also theres some merchants that spawn on the ocean,if you have lucky they can sell really good items but it will cost your liver...
Yo some advice go do the to1 which is a colloseum type thing which lets you get to power 7 it might be hard for first timers but lets you understand most mobs moveset
Before you progress a build, it would be better to create the build in the "deepwoken builder", to find out what talents you can get, also what talents are the best for that specific build.
go deepbound it helps you prog the fastest and u will learn how to fight mobs much easier when u escape depths. also try to have a specific build in mind instead of randomly putting points into stuff
next time u play i reeally recommend u going 50 fortitude for 2 talents that make u more tanky, very helpful especially when ur new. also if u see a blue bar below ether bar its called Tempo, when you press g you can escape combos with it, it can be dodged/parried/blocked tho
hw this game is all about parries advantage so unless they parry dont stop hitting and trying to continue combos. dependant on their weapon type (heavy, medium and light) you can even continue to m1 even if they dodge cancel tho it is recommended to wait and parry there next attack. another mixup you could do is to press left click then right click right away, this feints your weapon and forces them to dodge which then you could use a mantra or use your crit to get an easier hit in as they wasted there parry timing and dodge
I recommend you to play Striker oddysey, i know the game it's dead and the owner left it, but in my opinion it's still very fun (keep it up btw king 👑)
Black magic: phantom's causatum, it's a really interesting fighting game that takes skills to master, but it's really good, i would recommend it to somewhat ease out your gambling addiction
youll probably not see This comment but ill say this anyway. Deepwoken is a hard game that is alot harder then alot of people think, however once they do get further they realise how hard it is It should in my opinion be Learned and Progressed with a friend who also doesnt know anything/not alot id also suggest 1 of 2 things for guilds 1. make your own guild for Subscribers to join 2. join a guild who is willing to help and teach newer players
Yo, if you are in an m1 string press G to evasive, the bar at the bottom shows when you have it. Also with that sword you can press T to make it two handed. Not sure if its visual or actually changes anything but imo it looks better.
you guys want more deepwoken? I can make these vids longer aswell since its more progression but if I do that there will be less edits in the video so I dont know which one you guys want, let me know.

Hey HW, here's a tip you might wanna use to negate damage during PVE and PVP, if you have enough tempo (Which is the bar at the very bottom that flashes blue), you can press g to vent, knocking enemies away from you. You can use this mid combo and just generally when you need it. Once you have over half your tempo bar, you can vent.
yup im using this as a copy paste
Hey, here's a tip you might wanna use to negate damage during PVP, if you have enough tempo (Which is the bar at the very bottom that flashes blue), you can press g to vent, knocking enemies away from you. You can use this mid combo and just generally when you need it. Once you have about half or more of your tempo bar, you can vent.
Nah u dont need half ur tempo bar the bar just has to be blue to be able to vent
About ganks:
In deepwoken, its literally a point to feed higher levels kills (and nobody wants to die to a max level as a freshie)
theres also a origin called void walkers, these (LOSERS) will kill you for exp.
Also, heres a list of people you see you want to avoid
first off, people with orange and blueish clothing, (Voidwalkers) also people with a swirling black aura around them (It means voidwalkers are on a hunt)
People with a long dark shadowy sword (dont take that out of context plz) crypt blade users are especially violent towards freshies
people with strings along their shoulders and arms (Contractors) again, these people are known freshie grippers and you will want to log if you see them
and one more tip: if you see two people running 1s near nomad camp you do not want to go near them, those people are always the pvp demons and they will grip you if you're too close.
have fun getting deep HW, I love your videos!
for new players: to avoid feeling like you wanna quit every time you join the game you have to come prepared that you will wipe at least twice. don't feel attached to your character at all
dawg i bought it during the sale and I wiped a total of 12 times, the bandit leader kept beating my ass with his stiletto ;-;

Another way to practice PvE is to try and beat the Trial of One, this will allow you to have experience depending on the mobs and it is also good to make progressions more faster, this trial is located at Minityrsa near a Stronghold at the rear right corner of the island, but keep in mind you have to be power 1 (Level 1) and you have only one try per life
If your not lone warrior than you won’t go straight to deaths
Yes but it's doesn't work well as a beginer
@@captainbragcaptainbrag846of course it does, you learn pve from doing the trial
Its gonna take a lot of tries but this is probably the best way to get good at pve
Bro finna takes years to master if he doesn’t know how to parry any of the mobs in trial
(Oh yeah and if all these bars run out you instantly die.)
no you dont die instantly you can stay alive if u sit at a campfire
@@splobbyOh. I didn’t know that. I just assumed it would damage you faster than you can heal or something. Thanks! I’ll remember that.
@@fatducky4164 no it does dmg way faster than you heal it’s just being at the campfire regens blood and u only take dmg when u have 0 blood
@@splobby Ohh alright.
I'm happy about the fact my comment was featured in the video because now people will know what to do when starting the game and I'm also glad it had a positive impact on your gameplay. Also next time you wipe (it is inevitable) choose the lone warrior origin to learn more about monsters and how to fight them.
legend I gained alot of progress
from your tip!!
Lone warrior isn't a default origin bruv. It took me a solid amount of time to get it (I ain't that good)
@@Gudies It isn't a default origin; HOWEVER you do get it when you wipe
@@Gudies They recently made it so that you get lone warrior as soon as you wipe for the first time. Way easier than getting half way done to get it
Another tip : If you want to practice even futher your skill you can do the trial of one. Its located at minityrsa (snow island) in some sort of temple but you can only do it once per life and you also need to be power 1.
You unlock trial of one origin after your first wipe I think he can just do it right away from the menu
you unlock trial of one by killing a sharko@@mao38
@@mao38 for some reason i didn't get it
@@Sawkax The fact that it's unlocked when you wipe is rather new. Wipe any random slot and you should unlock it (Lone Warrior origin)

You need to get used to using your mantras(magic). If you are capable of doing so, you can create mix-ups with your other attacks. Makes both grinding and pvp a lot easier.
M1s not viable for pve anymore. The meta is now just mantra spam with the multihits.
Im gonna butter your biscuits
@@vergil2 no m1s still viable just mantras more dominant
as a tip from a deepwoken solo player You should keep progression a little bit safe like killing bandits till level 10 i would say, after that I recommend watching a tutorial on how to a kill a creature named sharko or megaladaunt.
For Beginners
in the bottom left you have three bars representing Hunger=Yellow Blue=Thirst and Red=Blood
If you fight dagger units your blood drops much quicker then normal
Make sure that your stats are equal instead of in favor like if you had 90 strenght and 10 fortitude ect
Bad advice stats be distributed far apart for example 50 str 40 fortitude maybe be more tanky then 90 str 10 fortitude but it will deal significantly less damage
There are some very good talents locked behind high investments
Including all the dead gods and million ton piercer at 90 strength
@@rayyaniqbal3259collapsed lung isn’t that good million ton piercer is though but high investment strenght isnt ad worth it
@@rayyaniqbal3259also 40 strength 50 fortitude is good idk what ur talking about
I also think this is bad advice, since 90 strength gives million ton piercer and after getting the talent you could shrine.
@@splobby I never said it was bad I said it was situational for example on my gran suda tryna get the max damage I went 90 str to maximise damage at the cost of health
Heya, Thats some nice progress you're doing mate, one thing tho, if you end up wiping you can try to do the lone warrior origin (its unlocked on your first wipe) its basicaly a better tutorial for fighting monsters you will commonly find ingame, and if completed you get a boost to power 8ish, it is hard tho keep in mind, but take it like a tutorial and not a skill check
holy shit is that the black silence??
One thing I highly recommend is making another slot where you farm something called trial of one, this is located in ministya (I think I spelt it wrong) and you need to be level 1 for it. It’s 9 trials of npc’s that you can fight to get a boost in your player progression but can also be helpful to practice parrying npcs, projectiles, and dodging. Overall it will boost your PVE status highly if you get to a point where you keep training and you end up beating it!

Here are some Tips if you need them: G to Vent (when your blue bar below the green bar is filled enough)
CTRL to Slide (Used as movement mechanic)
R to Crit its used to Guardbreak people or do unexpected attacks
CTRL + M1/M2 to Uppercut (sends people in air and makes a window for Combos)

Hey HW, here’s a visual tip not for PvP or grinding if you press Y you can two hand hold your sword which you can then give you a card that increases posture. Also pressing P can hide the vanity of your hat, you can take it on and off. Hope this helps! Enjoy deepwoken.
EXACTLYYYYY
WE NEED THE SAKURA STAND GRIND
0 skill game
if you dash cancel you can actually dash again (double dash)
!!! PRESS G TO VENT (Vent is something like evasive) max power of this game is 20!!!
i recommend to go for simple build like
Strength - 25 (Get good strength talents that you think it good)
Fortitude - 40 (Get like Exoskeleton and good fortitude talents and 25 fort and 25 agility will get you condition runner [it will regen ya health if you run around])
Agility -60 (Now you have ghost 60 agility is for cheap shot [extra penetrate] and tap dancer [shorter double dash cooldown] and go for jetstriker oath bc it easy)
Intelligence - 2 (this stat point is very strong for mage build but you need to have some knowledge about making a build because it like advance stats hard to play with it)
willpower - 25 (some talents that give you extra health need req of fortitude and willpower and willpower make you get some sanity to make you character harder to get crazy when you in the depth)
charisma - 0 (this is like intelligence it a lot stronger than some stats but req knowledge to making build because it advance stats and hard to play with!!)
Medium weapon - 100 (make you weapon do a lot damage and get some good weapon talents)
Thundercall - 75 (get some good thundercall talents and mantras that you think it good)
That all the tip i can give for beginner you can see the keybind at the top left of you screen click on the question mark and there will be some tip
(the door ui that next to it is for return to menu i recommend to use it if you want to leave the game cuz alt + f4 will make you character stay in game for 2 sec before leave but door method won't make you character stay in game for 2 sec)
i love you to try on deepwoken for a long time it fun for us to watch you play the game that we love and good luck hw!
For some quick tips:
Take all the health talents
Head to the Eastern Luminant (sail through the big gates near the giant statue)
Press G to vent, knocking opponents away.
Press ctrl m1 to uppercut
Press Y to enter a 1 handed stance allowing you to do more posture damage
And to escape the depths, head into the big cathedral in the city
As someone who has over a thousand hours in the game, I find this hilarious yet nostalgic. Hope you keep up the grind man!
Hyped ash for this your my favorite ytber and an Rpg completely fits u it's rlly entertaining to watch too
a small tip when someone or something is swinging a weapon there is a little star on top of the weapon indicating when u have to press f to parry it (the light blue bar aka ether aka ur mana and the bar under it is called "tempo" which u can then press g if its in the dark blue color to make a thing called vent aka push someone or something away from u wont work if they block it or parry it btw)
also the bandits in black clothing and all with daggers wont grip u they are just gonna rob u from ur notes they are in group of three also over power 5 or 6 (not sure atm) voidwalkers aka the assasins origin can take bounties on u be careful since they can teleport near u if they have bounty on you only once for the hunt tho also if u find a blast spark u can put it on the electro carve at a mantra modifying table with the mantra u can recall the mantra at a campfire to add the ingridient to it blast spark makes something like domain expansion like or u can put an magnet spark onto it which will make u throw a orb of lightning which will attach onto enemies and then starts a beeping countdown and its gonna expand on them and deal damage the easiest way to obtain these is thru mudskippers chests (the zombie looking like monsters) also they can drop mantra modifying ingridients directly too it is visualized by purple color in the inventory also the blue cards u get are legendaries which can be obtained by a set requirement u got ghost which needs 40 agility and all butterfly talents
the butterfly talents is just a talent cattegory the talents is like evasive expert then in a smaller text there is a cattegory of it like butterfly or health pack which is misc etc...
Just have fun and try not to get too attatched to your first slots, just explore, learn and adapt and start searching for some builds you might wanna make, read up on talents and maybe try some pvp!
imiditley

for more tips if u ever do a video on deepwoken again.
First- i recommend investing a ton of points into ur element-Thundercall so u can get a path which changes ur lightning from yellow to blue and has adictional buffs also u get better moves.
second- u can upgrade ur moves if u find the thundercall trainer he is on an island called summer isle (u might need to google the location)
third- i recommend making or joining a guild u get a nice spawnable base u can place pretty much anywhere
that should last a bit sorry if i made any spelling mistakes English aint my main language.
hope u see this
Tip: In Etris, you can collect mushrooms and at a campfire, you can craft mushroom soup by combining 2 mushrooms together
(To craft, its above your inventory.)
I’d recommend to take Trial of One as this can teach you a lot more of combat and fighting against monsters.
I’ve been waiting for the second episode of deepwoken! Also one tip is to create a second slot and choose the lone warrior origin and keep practicing trial of one, it helps a lot with pve and monsters.
If your looking for game suggestions I suggest playing anime world tower defense AWTD it’s kinda like anime adventures
Hey HW, What recording software do you use? I am starting to do youtube and it would be VERY helpful. 😁😁
OBS
Here are a few tips for deepwoken
If you block break/posture break something keep hitting it its free damage
Heavy is hard to master but really good
Best place to grind after erisia or if you are good trial of one(more on it after this) is songseeker isle, which is located forward and left after entering the big gate infront of vigils
Trial of one could really help you, it is located infront of vigils through the big gate and at the snowy island near the glaciers
Trial of one helps you learn to parry and fight some of the mobs on an easier level
Dont go out too far or you will reach the scary place called void sea(you dont wanna be there)
Good to see new players joining and not quitting also good tip press G to get out of combo press right click after left click to feint your attacks also you MUST leave deepwoken by pressing the door icon on the top left corner only also playing deepwoken blindly is a bad idea but you can still enjoy the game without wiki and guide I guess?
If this build doesn’t end up wiping make it a proper build by using these stats which work from your current stats
40str 40fort 48agil 4intel 5will 25char 80thunder 85med but u could also go 50 fort and get 75med ur choice
Main Talent to go for is ghost (u already have this) showstopper, tough love, charismatic cast, exoskeleton, old habits die hard those are main talents u want.
Also you should make a build to prog.
You can feint an m1 by pressing m2 mid m1, this will make the npcs automatically parry so they go on parry cooldown and u can hit them or their block, you can also feint mantras (magic abilities) by pressing m1 and m2 at the same time during a mantra
give this man more subs bro at least 10m . HE CARES DEPRESSION .
W Kami for that music ❤
You can escape the depths. Find the big yellowish building and climb to the top and go towards the middle and jump down. Pull the lever inside.
Its nice to see you play deep. Also just put into any stat you want because all of them have their own use like mantras and good talents.
tip: Once your above power 3, you can safely go to the depths by killing yourself twice.
Watching freshies will always be entertaining luv da videos btw
I think people would love a longer version its so fun to watch people learning to play deepwoken
Hey Hw you should play "project smash" its like a 3rd person super smash bros roblox game just a suggestion just so u know
U should 100% play Project Smash its like THE perfect mix of super smash and combat warriors and that's not an under statement
HW i really enjoyed this video looking more of this content :D
HW try out project smash, its like 3d smash bros mixed in with a battlegrounds game. Other than that, W VIDEO ONCE AGAIN🔥🔥
go deepbound it helps you prog the fastest and u will learn how to fight mobs much easier when u escape depths. also try to have a specific build in mind instead of randomly putting points into stuff
you should try going into the depths and jumping into the void, it teleports you to layer 2. Which is a very easy place to farm very good loot and exp
next time u play i reeally recommend u going 50 fortitude for 2 talents that make u more tanky, very helpful especially when ur new. also if u see a blue bar below ether bar its called Tempo, when you press g you can escape combos with it, it can be dodged/parried/blocked tho
Btw, g to vent whenever you're caught in a combo. Venting is basically a burst to get out of it
hw this game is all about parries advantage so unless they parry dont stop hitting and trying to continue combos. dependant on their weapon type (heavy, medium and light) you can even continue to m1 even if they dodge cancel tho it is recommended to wait and parry there next attack. another mixup you could do is to press left click then right click right away, this feints your weapon and forces them to dodge which then you could use a mantra or use your crit to get an easier hit in as they wasted there parry timing and dodge
It feel like years ago when you were doing the other robot voice playing Old Aut and now you are growing fast keep on the good work
I recommend you to play Striker oddysey, i know the game it's dead and the owner left it, but in my opinion it's still very fun (keep it up btw king 👑)
Black magic: phantom's causatum, it's a really interesting fighting game that takes skills to master, but it's really good, i would recommend it to somewhat ease out your gambling addiction
youll probably not see This comment but ill say this anyway.
Deepwoken is a hard game that is alot harder then alot of people think, however once they do get further they realise how hard it is
It should in my opinion be Learned and Progressed with a friend who also doesnt know anything/not alot
id also suggest 1 of 2 things for guilds
1. make your own guild for Subscribers to join
2. join a guild who is willing to help and teach newer players
another tip is whenever you miss a parry you have 2 seconds before you are able to parry again, so spamming f isnt always the best optio
Yo, if you are in an m1 string press G to evasive, the bar at the bottom shows when you have it. Also with that sword you can press T to make it two handed. Not sure if its visual or actually changes anything but imo it looks better.
Also schematics are weapons you can specifically craft, by being at a crafting station :3
