I've said this once and I'll say it again since this is a reupload; for those beginning this game I recommend you NOT go to erisia and instead choose the Vigils origin, inside the temple there is an NPC that you can talk to to spawn a NPC that 1v1s you, that NPC is meant to be just for training and EXP (do note that the npc is *humanoid* to learn how to fight monsters go to the trial of one by selecting the lone warrior origin upon wiping for the first time) all that NPC does is fight you and if they win you get healed to full and they despawn. Also for those of you who don't play because of the "lag issues" after choosing your region the reason you are lagging so much is because Roblox's servers are messed up and it shows the wrong region, if you pay attention HW who lives in the UK got 4 bars (around 40-50 ping or even less) in Texas servers. As far as I know Roblox could not care less as this has been an issue for about one whole year or even more.
And I'm gonna copy and paste the thing I wrote in the community post because many people will not see it there; A problem about Deepwoken is that it is not beginner friendly and someone who just started the game has to rely on the official wiki for basic and advanced knowledge as there is no way of knowing about anything without the wiki unless you stumble into it directly and even then you won't know what it did, let's take the fountain where you wash your face at The Hive for example, as far as I know (and I have been playing Deepwoken for more than 1 year and a half) there is no indicator, no NPC, no nothing to help you reach it and when you do reach it (whether it was by luck or someone took you there if you didn't check the wiki) you will not know what it does and just wash your face, there is no indicator as to what just happened, there's no clue, there's nothing so you wouldn't even know that it opened the gate to GreatHive Aratel, it's this lack of information and beginner friendliness that makes many new players either rely on the wiki (making it so you lose the excitement of exploring a new world because you will know everything about it) or just quit the game entirely like HW and many other people did, even one of the owners Arch_Mage has acknowledged this but nearly nothing has been done so far. My advice to beginners is to try to learn humanoid npc attack patterns over at the Isle of Vigils (you can choose to spawn there in the character creation screen) and monster attack patterns in the trial of one (you can also choose to spawn there when you first wipe) and then you can set sail, if you want more information you should ask more exprrienced players for clues to keep feeling the excitement of exploring a new and dangerous world, you could even join a guild like mine (The Wanderers Swordsmen) which welcomed me when I was pretty shitty at the game and they helped me get better.
for everyone whos gonna buy deepwoken because of this video: make a flamecharm build, wipe, train in to1 until you can beat it, you're ready for deepwoken, no monsters are a threat for you now. It will definitely be painful tho, but it's not about beating it, it's about learning as much as possible

Hell has officially frozen over. HW playing deepwoken. Well the progression is simple really, erisa until level 5-7 (Depending on your skill range) then you go to songseeker until level 10-13 (skill level varies) then you can either head straight to duke and box him up, go to ministry and get some enchants, head to hive (Normal route) or stay at songseeker/get your oath. Fighting the duke is a MUST and if you wanna test your skill, when you get ardours manifestation go to ferryman (youtube will help you with this) summon kaido and go to the cheese spot (youtube) and after fight ferryman for fun and depending on season decent rewards and bell prog. Once youve killed duke about 10-20 times (Skepticism) go to the depths, find yun shul, get bell. Sorry for the yap session.
