Can confirm this works with ease for non dimmable mirrors everytime great tutorial thank you! When you pry from the top corner there is a clip directly underneath which is why it releases so easily. I don’t understand why BMW made this insanely hard on dimmable mirrors, 50% chance you’ll break it trying any method!
What do you mean? I have dimmable mirrors on my F11 and the mirror unclips easily exactly the same way as this mirror. But does it break easily in the process?
Just tried this on my f32, can confirm the mirror glass is still all one piece. But it is STRESSFUL, took me 30mins to get that first release, then it all came off smoothly. Defo pry from the corner mentioned in the vid
LLH car the passenger mirror doesn't tilt GLASS inside like supposed to after replacement!!!! ANY IDEA? THANKS 🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈🎈 motors are good also tried another one!!!
Long shot but does anyone know if all the F series mirrors are the same? looking for a replacement but i cant find a reasonably priced used for an F30, plenty of F10, 20 and they look the same and all have the same number - 021185 stamped on the bottom?

trust me use 3-4 strands of Floss held together it’s super easy to get behind and it pulls off equal pressure

@@aaleeksii yea they’re very brittle clips and it’ll put unwanted tension. best method is string/floss to apply equal pressure e

Check if your window selector is set to the passenger side. It only works when that is on the passenger side.
