    My mirror doesn't have clips to the mirror it's glued. So now what can I do to remove it? Or what do I need to buy?
    * Already cracked the first mirror. 🥺🥀💀

    • @FaRKle0079

      Did your mirror glass just separate from the plastic backer? Or do you have aftermarket mirrors?

    • @MrVuittonDon
      @MrVuittonDon 2 года назад

      @@FaRKle0079 they are stock mirrors. It cracked when I was trying to remove it because I needed to unscrew the turn signals for a sequential upgrade.
      In this video he shoes a simple plastic resistor clasp to pull our and plug in. Mine have the wiring towards it end showing a metal flatten side against the mirror itself with a Translucent clear glue holding it flat onto the mirrors. 🤷‍♂️🤔

      @@MrVuittonDon Odd, all the OE mirrors I've seen for the F2x/F3x generation of BMW have been clip on. If you go to RealOEM you'll see the diagram showing clip on style too.
      Or do your mirrors have a black border, and you pried the glass out of the black frame, but the frame is still clipped into the housing?

    Dude I literally cracked my mirror today trying to replace the cover and have been debating all day whether to get these replacement mirrors or spend money on genuine ones. How are you liking these?

    • @FaRKle0079
      @FaRKle0079  4 года назад +2

      I like them! They don't offer as large of an increase in outward view as I was expecting, because the mirror housing itself actually gets in the way, but what they do allow you to do, is set the mirror so you can look straight back down the side of the car and maintain full outward visibility up to the mirror housing limitation. That's useful when using the mirror auto-tilt down feature to see the curb when parallel parking. Mine are genuine and were about $150 shipped off eBay. Even though they were "used" they were blemish free and the glass could've passed for new.
