Thanks for sharing this. I have been on your web site, as I live in France, and I have found your French and UK suppliers...Can I ask, what is the backing fabric - is it Monkscloth?
It is monk's cloth, with 12-14 holes per inch. I should point out that they do make a monk’s cloth with 6-7 holes per inch - it is sometimes easier to find, but does not work well for punching. I hope this helps! Amy
You can use #8 cut strips in the regular punch needles. For the traditional look, some rug hookers prefer using #6 cut strips instead of #8 cut. The #6 cut strips are a bit narrower and glide more easily through the punch needle. For the fine point needles, you can use #3 cut strips. I hope this helps! Best, Amy
I am looking at some patterns using Valdani 3 strand and Valdani #12 threads - which size needle(s) from your collection would you recommend for these threads please? Would the 10 fine work? Thank you so much!
I'm sorry, but embroidery floss doesn't work in the needle. For the fine point needles I recommend using worsted weight, sock weight, baby weight, tapestry, or needlepoint yarn (or similar). You also need to void yarn with lumps, hairy yarns, and yarns that are very slippery. I hope this helps! Amy
Hello, do you also sell the punch needles. I’m struggling to find them in Italy. I’m interested in 10 regular and fine. Could you help me please? Thank you
Thanks for this. So is monjs clothes the same as AIDA? . I have quite a bit of this as I be used it with cross stitch?. Is this one and the same, as .one also has 12..14 home to the inch
I ordered the craftmans punch needle because I like the option of heights in one tool.which of yours is like it? I don't want to order one from you that will do the same thing. Is the mini w heels the only one? Or do you know if the Craftsman is considered like your reg or fine width needles? If it's fine, I'd need a reg tool. Like 10 regular maybe... I'm stumped. I want to do very large floor rugs w details. Thank you.
I ordered 4 of your needles and just made a pillow and I’m “hooked!” Thank you for your wonderful videos!
Wonderful!
Love that gorgeous work I'm learning
Thank you for your excellent explanation of the needle sizes and loved the humour at the end -- yes I'm watching and I wasn't napping 😅
The bee pattern is lovely. Is that available to purchase?
Thank you! Helped me decide which needle to get
Hilarious ending :) This helped me out a lot! Thank you!

Hi! For Drops Lima and Drops Paris What’s needle do you advise? I’m lost! It’s for Kids names on pillow .
Thank you ❤
What size needle would I need if I wanted to use wool strips instead of yarn? Or in other words what size is the largest needle? Thank you!

I have 2 needles from several years go. If they don’t say regular or fine, should I assume they are regular? Thanks for the great video.
Where can I get the set

Sadly, they are not the same. In my experience, AIDA cloth breaks when you punch on it. Amy
