Holy crap. Mind blown 🤯
😎🤙
Don't forget your eye protection folks. I'd rather loose a finger than an eye and I'm a musician.
What! That’s fantastic- I never thought of it.
😎
Literally the best tip I’ve ever seen on YT. Would have never occurred to me to even try this. Even if you clipped them a little to make it more stable it would at least force the crown out so you could grab it.
Damn! No way! I never new that or would've thought of that! Dude you are a genious! Finally a RUclips short where the person actually taught me a lifelong helpful tool hack! I can't wait to show this to others Thank you man!
YT is encouraging Shorts. It will be interesting to see tips and ideas presented in such a short form. But it will be hard on those of us who like to hear ourselves talk😎🤙
I like the tiny pause in the beginning.
Adds a lot of charm.
That is an amazing tip, I've never thought of that . Thank you for your exceptional help.
WoW!
I never knew Robert Redford did woodwork. 😲🇬🇧💂♂️
What the hell. that works good. I have to try it. Keep it up Magic Ron😂
Surfer woodworker just blew my mind
You're amazing thank you for sharing
You are so welcome
Now thats a great idea!
It is!
And oh yeah you my friend have just got yourself another subscriber! Thank you.
Wowza! Brilliant, Ron, as usual.
That's Brilliant...
Thanks Ron.
Brilliant!
Awesome share! Thanks 🙌
Super Smart!
Amazing!
Thanks!
Love it 😊
Dang, that's smart!
That's great. Please wear eye prot tho
I thought Robert Redford was an actor, I didn’t know he was a carpenter too?
dude... i totally thought it was Robert Redford... first time stumbling on this channel haha....
Woah never would have though to do that
Cool trick. Safety third! 😆
wow
WHOA! ROBERT REDFORD'S GOT TRICKS!
Far out man!
Dude!😎🤙
Unfortunately both my narrow crown staplers have dry fire lockout, so they wouldn't depress or fire without 5 or 6 staples in the rail.
I have 5 staple guns and they all will do this trick, but my guns are all old.
That's a neat trick. I guess no shortcut for people who don't have a staple gun
I’m down on my hands and knees trying to use pliers. But many of the staples are bend. Yesterday was my first day working in contracting as a helper. Not sure if I should buy a scrapper or a thingy with teeth to scrape and pull nails up.
Hot damn. Nice
What if you don't have one of those pneumatic guns? I just have a spring one.
That only works if you can take the board apart in the Staples penetrate the opposite side but if you got staples with counteracting chamfers on the end they hook and they twist and that gives them even more holding power
You gotta take them out the same way they go in. LOL
They only way out the way they went in!
I don't have a neumatic staple or nail gun. for others in this situation, I use blue crescent fence plyers.
🥲
Robert Redford does woodworking?
Use channel lock pliers, a lot faster. Pull them out in the direction of the round edge of the pliers.
Nope! Tear up the wood and it isn't easy to get the pull started. I will remove 10 before anyone gets one out using any other method.
You need to watch again. 2 seconds or less using my method and no damage. "A lot faster" means pulling 2 or more per second.
Does that work with 18 gauge brads as well?
I haven't tried it as I can pull a brad through with side cutters
im totally going to try this.
This guy looks like Robert Redford!
I can't tell--is it blowing them out the other side or popping them back out the way they came? It's too hard to see, and blurry when I zoom in. If blown out the other side, they could hit wiring or plumbing inside the floor...so I'm guessing they come back up. How does that happen, that they go up when pushed on with a force going downward?
😲
Brilliant idea!! I'm also a fan of not adding "duh" warnings like "wear safety glasses when doing this" 😅.
How to remove staples from wound
I see you’ve been learning from Jon Peters.
One glance , i tot you are Robert Redford 😉😉
hmmm wonder if that works for nails...
No!
looks like a good way to screw up a perfectly good stapler
How does the gun fire without staples. Every pneumatic nailer and stapler I have ever owned or seen will not cycle when empty.?????
? Maybe newer guns have changed. I have 5 staple guns and all will fire with out staples. In fact I have 19 nail guns and they will all dry fire.
I've never used one of these before, but can anyone tell me why this can't be done with a claw-hammer?
Tears up the wood.
Ron using a air staple gun to remove staple is very dangerous because the old staple can rickshaw and hit you anywhere and even hit you 👁
Maybe put some safety glasses on first Jesus I'm no safety freak but come on man
Scew that. I'm gonna use a grinder.
