He even assigns other characters engines from the show based in their personalities (“you’re a Percy” “you’re a diesel”) and so on.

8:21, While primarily a comedy, the film also had a pretty good grasp on drama as well and managed to weave its serious and comedic elements together quite well, like with El Lobo's backstory being very serious to make the punchline of his anti-climactic death all the funnier, Lemon's fixation on Thomas The Tank Engine and status as Tangerine's "twin" going from simple quirks to emotionally impactful details that effect the overall story or Ladybug reframing his perspective on his luck when brought to consider the good things that have come out of it. Even the score by Dominic Lewis puts in the effort to be distinct and give each character motifs and tones whenever their involved in a scene (a train whistle is included for White Death's theme to signify his control over events, as the train essentially his prison for the characters until they escape his and Prince's machinations).

Saw this last Tuesday with my girl as a double feature with DC's LEAGUE OF SUPER-PETS (also thoroughly worth watching). We both enjoyed the two films but agreed this was the better of the two movies. Tons of fun!
I first saw Bullet Train and the second I left the theater after watching it, I was like "I guess I love Momomon now" SPOILERS: one of my favorite scenes was when The Hornet was dying from her own disease by accident, Ladybug was like "you don't look good, you want some water?"

Having watched both your Gray Man video and now this, I think it is interesting that, from their trailers, I thought Gray Man looked bad but that this was really interesting. Thor L&T turning out how I thought it would from the trailer, combined with the impressions I got from these, is giving me far too much validation in my ability to predict the quality of a movie from the trailer.
This dialogue is the dumbest (in a fun way) thing in the movie. *"I know who killed the kid!"* "Yeah? Where the [BEEP] is he then?!" *"He's on this train!"* "Well, that narrows it down, then. Done it?" Alright then, sir Ladybug! Thank you for bringing us nowhere! 👍 But seriously though, this movie is awesome!
Can't agree more on Gray Man. Was very disappointed in it. It pains me to say but the Russo's are very 50/50 in my opinion. These guys blew me away with Winter Soldier, it's one of my favourite movies of all time. Civil War did not hold up by comparison. Still one of the better MCU movies but it often didn't maintain that same weight and atmosphere that Winter Soldier provided perfectly (e.g. the airport fight which was more 'silly, easy-going fun romp' than 'a sense of spiralling tragedy' as one group of friends find themselves fugitives while the others are forced to try to bring them in to the authorities so that they aren't shot on sight'). Then Infinity War once again blew my mind as an absolute masterpiece, a cohesive story holding together some two dozen integral characters, only for Endgame to fail at that same effort in the final hurdle, proving a tonal mess worse than Civil War exhibited and being a ginormous let-down with the main arcs of several of the heroes of these 11 odd years (at the time) of movies. I still enjoyed Civil War and Endgame but, especially Endgame, nowhere close to how much I enjoyed Winter Soldier and Infinity War, which just felt heftier, more stakes, more atmosphere, better pay offs (despite being the precursor to those two sequels, which fell short on delivering the goods those movies set up). But The Gray Man was straight garbage. Too much money, too little creativity. A waste of Chris Evans, who put on a tremendously fun performance. Henry Jackman did not deliver for me, despite providing one of my favourite soundtracks in The Winter Soldier, and Ryan Gosling, who I often love, I found fell totally flat. Far too many excessively edited fight scenes with awful camera work that took away from 3 brilliant ones (Sierra vs Lloyd 1 and 2, and the Dhanush fight scene). It was really weird, this movie was just an exercise in big budget and tonnes of action set pieces but it didn't get any of it right. There were like 15 different locations (because the Russo's love globe spanning movies) but the movie never, ever settles in them. One of the worst shots for me was at the location where Lloyd and Sierra fight again. It's this chaotic, way too quick drone shot that doesn't even give you time to see the building the set piece is going to before they cut to the interior. I have no idea what the Russo's were doing here. They're going for a niche genre of 'surface level action movie' every time, but Extraction did it way better in terms of the action and even just the likeability and execution of the characters. The dialogue was nonstop cliché' spy jargon, sped through exposition and the story was choppy. I don't want to suddenly be introduced to a flashback about Billy Bob's niece 30-40 minutes into this 2 hour movie and be obligated to care a great deal about her nor be convinced of and invested in her relationship with Goose as if she's all of a sudden an integral character (which she does become) when you didn't even give us the breathing space to know anything about her being in the movie before giving us 2-3 poorly lit fight scenes. The movie was sloppy and simply boring. 2nd worst movie of the year for me after Love and Thunder.
This movie is on some anime shit its amazing. I loved every minute of it, especially the white death with the revolver that was the coldest thing ive ever seen
I feel that you should’ve brought up knives out rather than most of his other action films my biggest gripe is that the movie pulls you out for a second to show a scene that you already seen like “look you remember this it came back look wow we brought it back” and with the twins it happens A LOT
Just a film perfection 10 in entertainment, action, some references and building story anyone might not see this reference but it was like what you will see in Ryan Reynolds movie

I should hope he got this one right, the action genre has done this movie like what, 100 times already? Always a fun ride and eminently forgettable to do it all over again in the next one of it they do; gonna be drinking and laughing to this bad boy
I loved all the "Chekhov's guns" in this movie. Every object you see eventually becomes crucial to the plot later on.

I'm watching it tomorrow with my mates. Since the critic reviews are bad I suspected it would be good.
me and my friends decided to watch it, and weren't expecting it to be... good, but it blew me out of the water.
This movie has its flaws for sure, but God damn, this movie is a blast
Literally one of the best movies to come out that isn't tied to a pre existing franchise
This movie is on some anime shit its amazing. I loved every minute of it, especially the white death with the revolver that was the coldest thing ive ever seen
i just love that logan lermon is in it. ive loved him my whole life and so glad he is in this
I feel that you should’ve brought up knives out rather than most of his other action films my biggest gripe is that the movie pulls you out for a second to show a scene that you already seen like “look you remember this it came back look wow we brought it back” and with the twins it happens A LOT
What I’m saying is that I can remember what happened within a 2 hour span yk
If you leave your brain at the door ,you will have fun, if you bring your brain with you, even better fun
Just a film perfection 10 in entertainment, action, some references and building story anyone might not see this reference but it was like what you will see in Ryan Reynolds movie
Not here for the review, just here to check YTuber still a dish... aaaand yup, still dishy :D
That's me sorted, keep up the good work, I'll be off now! Have a good one y'all ^.^
