    I’m super impressed that you’ve put this all together yourself. Amazing job!
    I’ve actually seen a few people with those greenhouses and they do look fantastic. Can’t wait to see how it progresses.

      I am glad I can help. Please let me know if you have any questions as you build. Some things look difficult but aren't so bad when you get into it. Have a great week. Thanks again.

    Greetings from Quebec up north! Just bought a Sungrow 20 that I plan building around next March. I greatly appreciate the time and efforts you put in these videos. The informations, learning-alongs and thinkings you share are very helpful to put me up to speed. Thanks you!

      Hey Stewart, looking for advice here.
      For the base of my Sungrow20, can I get by with using 4x4 instead of 6x6 as you did?
      That would save on cost. Thx

      @@dansmonjardin_ca Planta recommends the 6x6 and everything they have said has worked out great. I really like the inside lip of the 6x6 when the structure is complete. You also need to look at the weight of holding it down in wind. We have strong wind down here and I wanted a multi use with the 6x6. they are heavy and hold down the structure and also make a wide base

    I have the 20 ft. model, did it all myself..whew! Mine has no "floor", i'm growing in the soil no-dig style. Just coming out of the first winter and I never ran out of greens. No complaints. Good luck to you.

      Many thanks. I’m growing tomatoes and cucumbers in buckets inside until last frost then transferring to outside. Should be fun. Thanks for reaching out

    How did yow anchor down the wood frame?

    • @StewartFarmApiary
      @StewartFarmApiary  Месяц назад +1

      I didn't. I have a friend that is an engineer and he calculated the weight and height of the structure as well as the placement. There was not a need in my case. My winds come from the west - I positioned the greenhouse to where the least amount of wind resistance would be where the doors are and it also added to airflow ( which has greatly helped to reduce the heat in the summer). I hope this helps............with the 6x6 treated and it only being 8' tall there just wasn't a reason. I also have a lot of trees around the greenhouse which cuts down on wind resistance also.

    Still don't know what box to open first.. very confusing. Any information or help figuring out where to start?

    • @StewartFarmApiary
      @StewartFarmApiary  Год назад +1

      Here is what I did. I cleared out one side of my garage. I took everything out of the boxes and stacked every part that matched into its own pile. As I did that I checked off the amount on the supply list as I counted them all. Once everything was accounted for I just started putting together. I did take a piece of paper and write in big letters what the part was and the part number and name. That way I knew exactly where each part was when I was assembling it all. This worked for me. I hope it helps. Once you get one frame done they go quickly.
