Wow what an incredible job!! Love that you built the greenhouse on top of your raised beds in combination with the foundation . So smart! My husband and I just built the sungrow 26 in the fall. I would love to do something like this with the rocks around it ❤

Thank you! Luckily I had the vision from the moment we decided to purchase the greenhouse. And my husband is a VERY handy man, thank goodness! He made it happen.

Lots of patience and care put into the planning and installation of this greenhouse. The result is both beautiful and functional. I will be following in your footsteps. Thank you for sharing the journey.

Great video, perfect pace and info content. Did the clear tape you used between the panels come with the kit, ie is it UV/heat resistant?

Thank you so much. That is a great question and I'm glad you asked. The tape we used primarily came with the kit, but it is very poor quality. I wholeheartedly recommend using clear Gorilla tape for everything. We didn't because we were afraid it was too thick, but many others have made the switch and it seems to be working much better to prevent leaks. We plan to change it over the years.

Looks wonderful! From the start to the finish, how long did this take to out up?

Thanks! We were not able to work on it consistently so it was really spread out. The span of this video was May through October. But we spent about 4 weeks on the actual structure. I would guess that if we had both worked on it full time, it would have taken a few weeks for everything.

What was your method for attaching the bigger wood pieces and securing them together? I've watched that part of the video a few times and can't tell what you've done. I would love to do this for my sungrow urban 10x13. I bought it over a year ago and have yet to build it because I'm overwhelmed.

We drilled holes half way through the top boards and used long lag screw/bolts to secure them to the bottom boards. I can't remember the length but I think maybe 6 inches, and about every 2 feet. Just remember to mark them so you know where they are during the remaining construction. We used blue painters tape to keep track of them until we finished.

@@E.ssential Sure thing! Feel free to ask questions anytime! It was very overwhelming in the beginning. It was very helpful to watch the Planta assembly videos here on RUclips. We viewed them before starting each task and referred to them often. The written directions are fine, but not nearly as helpful as the videos.
