Thank god some of the precipitation came down as snow and didn't immediately add to the floods. With climate warming continuing, people won't be as lucky in the future.
Yes, there is lots happening behind the scenes. There is a lot more water in the atmosphere than usual caused by the Hunga-Tonga Hunga sub-Pacific Ocean volcano (one of the biggest volcanic water eruptions in the last 200 years), there is the magnetic pole shift and a weakening magnetosphere. Combine those and you get massive weather changes. It's looking like Budapest in 1838 and Devon, UK in 1978 just to mention a few random examples. Hunga-Tonga is expected to continue at least for the next 2 years, so we can expect even more issues.
Another excellent short piece that helps illuminate the public! The map was a bit hard to understand, though, as the shapes of the continents and seas couldn't be seen underneath the weather pattern overlay; maybe just make those lines a little bolder...? Thanks again for all you do!
DTE is a GOAT of explainers; just how often will nations' land use be subject to dramatically different conditions under a warming atmosphere? Today's weather is just a way point to a continually evolving climate regime, one that inflicts constant shifts and constant destruction of basic infrastructure and of property year in and year out.
Oh my.
Thankyou for your work.

We are all thankfull for small minded leadership in Sweden and Dutch via their arreating of clinate change activists.
England same, climate activists recently who had communicated they might protest, they have been locked up for four/five years. Horrendous.
Repent Jesus is coming ❤
