- India is a country of excess and the diversity of beliefs guides the steps of its people. For several generations, Tenzin and his family have grown peas, a demanding crop. During the harvest, he goes down every morning with his mules along dizzying ravines.
In the state of Meghalaya, the men of the Jaintia tribe must carry a trunk weighing several tons to the center of the village without ever putting it on the ground: for them, failure would herald a year of misfortune. The Khasis preserve nature by building bridges without using cement.
Elsewhere, bamboo cutters make rafts and, with only the gods and rushing currents as guides, hope to arrive safely.

that s why i have been back for 12 years ,kinda magic to me .I have been on a bus and the driver smoking joints with us keeping him busy . ..🤫😫😱🤯😇.You need luck too as you know accidents are common just watch down and you might spot a vehicle .Om Nanah Shivajii

Thank You 😊. Just when I think we might have it a little rough, I watch people going through 100X what I have been through and I've been through a lot! Living off grid for years, getting stuck, evacuated, bathing in freezing water, and driving in deep snow with no plow, but the roads and villages these people have to travel blows my experience away! People complain about immigrants and I can not figure it out. Any people who have to go through some of the stuff that they do and they make it, would have work ethics, stamina, enginuity, and resourcefulness. "Get 'er Done" kind of people. I would be proud to have them as my neighbors.
I don't think people have problem with immigrants. People have problem with immigrants who go to another country and complain about stuff and want the people to adjust rather than them adjusting. Some cultures adjust very easily and assimilate while some just don't want to.
i m so salute to bus driver because he can manage with confidence and all passenger can stay calm,if you give me one hundred thousand to join bus trip,i will say no because my life is only one....

While some greedy men keep destroying the planet and hurting animals and people, other men try to survive with the consequences. Living in harmony with nature is the solution for many problems. And development should be done for the welfare of people, animals and the whole natural system, not for "international competition". We know where competition leads. Wars, monuments built to show off while people starve, political fights etc. Great documentary to show the diversity of realities within India. Jai Bharat! Vande Mataram! 🕉🙏
