That was 100% his fault, he can’t just suddenly move into you like there’s a gap there, there’s less than a gap width! His driving standards are disgusting as well, he moves under braking so you can’t even try and overtake him!

This is about the standard I was having at the middle of the week. Stuck in the back of high lobbies, get a group I can race with and I get these guys swerving in the braking zone and the ever popular 130R brake check. Come down to the lower lobbies with a spare account and enjoy the fun

In iRacing that would easily be reported for intentional wrecking. 100% his fault and bad driving. Race hard but give space to race, especially when netcode is involved.

at 5:50, that was most def 100% his fault. Its amazing how many people in both games and real life, people can't take responsibility for their actions and blame others for their stupid decisions, or lack of awareness. You made the right move to follow through, he tried to tuck in or even tried to def and just made an extremely dumb move. I had this done to me in real life in indoor karting once and the guy tried to make a claim he was in the right. Upon review of the footage, the Marshalls ruled in my favor, that I had position on the racing line and he cut in on me. Keep it up, mate. You are in the right.
Sad thing is a Mario Kart online race is usually cleaner then a GT Sport, Sport Mode race. This is including items being as they are staple of the gameplay.

Thanks for sharing! Great video! I have been in these situations too, i can relate 100% to this video. Another thing! from a simracer to another, i was analyzing your racing line the whole video. In the first “snake” sector, i noticed you turned in just a tad bit early every corner, i bet if you aimed for a more late apex, i know you could gain more speed and get a higher exit speed on the last couple bends, you might have been able to overtake on the outside of the last long left bend! I have done done this many times, its very unexpected since you can get a much higher exit speed then the opponents and still be able to run by them on the outside. Keep up the good work! Glad your still doing some GTsport!
I'd put the SOB in a sand pit or a wall. I'ts kind of my thing, used to do it to my friends at the arcade with Daytona USA. Get in the lead and wave people past you but when they try, lol that's when the shit hits the proverbial fan.(I usually wind up laughing like a maniac when I do this.)

Well, the brit certainly was an extremely aggressive driver. Imean, this looks like he jumped straight off of a game mode with all computers in it where the actual goal is "crash everybody, and you only need to drive so fast to win." You just stayed defensive and waited for him to screw up, and boy did he screw up hard.
GT should not only ban you, but hit you where it hurts. He should lose his car. He totaled it. It's wrecked. He should have to earn a replacement. And if you cause a wreck in multiple races, you should lose your license and have to earn it back.
I only ever did two races in GTbefore being fed up with multiplayer, both ended pretty much the same way... I started third in a Tesla for my first race at Catalunia, stuck to my line the whole race, never hit or squeezed anyone, and ending up second, with 1st about 4 seconds ahead. Somehow, the guy i passed for 2nd from Argentina, thought i was being WAY to aggressive, as i passed him by going on the inside of him when he missed the braking for a hairpin by like 50m, almost sticking it in the barrier on the outside! The second race was at my favorite track in GT Sport: The Nordschleife! The race was in GT4 cars, me driving a Porsche. It was three laps, and i incredibly qualified 1st, but hit the curb too hard on the inside in the first corner during the first lap, running wide, so i dropped down to second for the entire first lap, while maintaining a gap of about a second to P1, while P3 had dropped almost 6 seconds behind because of their own battle with people behind, so i wasn't under any pressure from behind... I figure out that the German i'm fighting with is evenly matched with me on most of the track, but he can't keep it smooth out of the corner leading out onto the long straight, so on the final lap i stay as close as i can just before that point, and when he swerves around after putting a wheel on the grass on the outside of the corner, i safely navigate around him, never coming close to hitting him. After the race, he somehow thought it was my fault he lost the lead, by forcing him to make an error, by pretty much being his shadow for three laps!
This reminds me of a race I had in PC2 where someone was complaining about rammers, but apparently forgetting he deliberately punted me off track in T1 at Monza. How these people even function is a mystery.
As someone who's only recently got into Sim Racing with a wheel, I know I make mistakes, but this Adamzzzz guy is a complete tool and unbelievably salty, you were in the right dude.
You get one move for positioning. This is a rule in a lot of motorsports. It’s also the fastest option as lateral moves scrub speed, obviously. Also, as we saw here, you end up pit maneuvering yourself while trying to “block”.
See you later #adamzzzzz. No race craft there at all, no acknowledgement of anyone else on the track. In all honesty, rightfully deserved. No fault at all on your behalf.
That was a NASCAR mentality performed in a Touring series. You can't just block every move and expect the driver behind you to check up and give you space. ESPECIALLY when going for the lead and they are there(inside the rear quarter panel). Did it too himself. Should've side drafted and fought for second.
basically he was unhappy that another driver outwitted him (not hard) so was determined that you should not pass him , don't know why you got a penalty as it was his fault.

Someone did that to me a while ago at Blue moon. Weaving around, moving in the braking zone, changing directions mid corner and pushing me into the pit wall. I managed to get past him which he didn’t like, he pushed me and himself into the wall and he got the penalty for that. Got a barrage of abuse from him afterwards saying “i’m an idiot and should learn how to defend properly” (him weaving about is properly defending? 🤷🏻♂️). I told him “ i managed to get past you which you didn’t like, grow up”and he tried to report me (nothing has come of this). You’ll always get these kind of knobheads who think they’re the Dog’s Bollocks and are superior to everyone else whatever you play. That is 100% his fault
Some drivers are nice drivers but sadly most of them thinks they have an absolute preference because they think driving a BMW gives you some kind of status.

I stopped counting a long time ago, but getting penalties for other driver's action is common place. For a time I thought it was my fault, but after watching videos of EERIEISSSS, Super GT and David Perel who all had this happen to them, too, I started saving and analyzing replays of my races. My conclusion: The penalty system of GT Sport is still broken!

I was well into my B licence and had 2 races and got punted from one corner to the next and kept getting penalties for it. (My fave whilst being on track and being Tboned off a car that hit the grass went off and came on sideways. 3 second penalty for that 😠)I went to a C licence. To say this is annoying is an understatement. That's with S rated drivers too.

the ''dirty air'' makes it happen that the downforce of your car falls away in the fast corners like 130r the spoons degner 1 and 2 and dunlop. dirty air is a very big issue in racing and mostly in formula 1 where drivers lose 35% of their downforce due to dirty air or slipstream in the corners. it's slipstream on the straights because you are in someone's air flow but dirty air in the corners because you're in someone's dirty air literally

This dude was doing the same thing in a Sardegna C a couple of weeks ago.
Well, the brit certainly was an extremely aggressive driver. Imean, this looks like he jumped straight off of a game mode with all computers in it where the actual goal is "crash everybody, and you only need to drive so fast to win."
You just stayed defensive and waited for him to screw up, and boy did he screw up hard.
He drove like an idiot and fully deserved to be taken out...by himself! ROFL!

GT should not only ban you, but hit you where it hurts. He should lose his car. He totaled it. It's wrecked. He should have to earn a replacement. And if you cause a wreck in multiple races, you should lose your license and have to earn it back.
I only ever did two races in GTbefore being fed up with multiplayer, both ended pretty much the same way...
I started third in a Tesla for my first race at Catalunia, stuck to my line the whole race, never hit or squeezed anyone, and ending up second, with 1st about 4 seconds ahead. Somehow, the guy i passed for 2nd from Argentina, thought i was being WAY to aggressive, as i passed him by going on the inside of him when he missed the braking for a hairpin by like 50m, almost sticking it in the barrier on the outside!
The second race was at my favorite track in GT Sport: The Nordschleife! The race was in GT4 cars, me driving a Porsche.
It was three laps, and i incredibly qualified 1st, but hit the curb too hard on the inside in the first corner during the first lap, running wide, so i dropped down to second for the entire first lap, while maintaining a gap of about a second to P1, while P3 had dropped almost 6 seconds behind because of their own battle with people behind, so i wasn't under any pressure from behind... I figure out that the German i'm fighting with is evenly matched with me on most of the track, but he can't keep it smooth out of the corner leading out onto the long straight, so on the final lap i stay as close as i can just before that point, and when he swerves around after putting a wheel on the grass on the outside of the corner, i safely navigate around him, never coming close to hitting him. After the race, he somehow thought it was my fault he lost the lead, by forcing him to make an error, by pretty much being his shadow for three laps!
Multiple moves in the braking zones and no spatial awareness. All on him.

This reminds me of a race I had in PC2 where someone was complaining about rammers, but apparently forgetting he deliberately punted me off track in T1 at Monza. How these people even function is a mystery.

As someone who's only recently got into Sim Racing with a wheel, I know I make mistakes, but this Adamzzzz guy is a complete tool and unbelievably salty, you were in the right dude.
You can tell from his driving habits earlier in the race that he was an aggressive driver. Trying to put you into the wall mate.
You get one move for positioning. This is a rule in a lot of motorsports. It’s also the fastest option as lateral moves scrub speed, obviously. Also, as we saw here, you end up pit maneuvering yourself while trying to “block”.
See you later #adamzzzzz. No race craft there at all, no acknowledgement of anyone else on the track. In all honesty, rightfully deserved. No fault at all on your behalf.

That was a NASCAR mentality performed in a Touring series. You can't just block every move and expect the driver behind you to check up and give you space. ESPECIALLY when going for the lead and they are there(inside the rear quarter panel).

basically he was unhappy that another driver outwitted him (not hard) so was determined that you should not pass him , don't know why you got a penalty as it was his fault.

Someone did that to me a while ago at Blue moon. Weaving around, moving in the braking zone, changing directions mid corner and pushing me into the pit wall. I managed to get past him which he didn’t like, he pushed me and himself into the wall and he got the penalty for that. Got a barrage of abuse from him afterwards saying “i’m an idiot and should learn how to defend properly” (him weaving about is properly defending? 🤷🏻♂️). I told him “ i managed to get past you which you didn’t like, grow up”and he tried to report me (nothing has come of this). You’ll always get these kind of knobheads who think they’re the Dog’s Bollocks and are superior to everyone else whatever you play.

Some drivers are nice drivers but sadly most of them thinks they have an absolute preference because they think driving a BMW gives you some kind of status.

I stopped counting a long time ago, but getting penalties for other driver's action is common place. For a time I thought it was my fault, but after watching videos of EERIEISSSS, Super GT and David Perel who all had this happen to them, too, I started saving and analyzing replays of my races. My conclusion:
The penalty system of GT Sport is still broken!
@@PatsFanGermany it is dude. The game itself is fantastic and I do love it but it spoils all fun and makes you angry when it happens. I was well into my B licence and had 2 races and got punted from one corner to the next and kept getting penalties for it. (My fave whilst being on track and being Tboned off a car that hit the grass went off and came on sideways. 3 second penalty for that 😠)I went to a C licence. To say this is annoying is an understatement. That's with S rated drivers too.

the ''dirty air'' makes it happen that the downforce of your car falls away in the fast corners like 130r the spoons degner 1 and 2 and dunlop. dirty air is a very big issue in racing and mostly in formula 1 where drivers lose 35% of their downforce due to dirty air or slipstream in the corners. it's slipstream on the straights because you are in someone's air flow but dirty air in the corners because you're in someone's dirty air literally
