You said something but yeah I got to keep your variables down as much as you possibly can but at the same time you should not be able to create some kind of a usable dispersion
Could potentially be the one of the biggest and best mixing channels without all the irrelevant shit. It has nothing to do with who has the same humor or not. It’s that mixing is already so complex and time consuming to become remotely good at, that there’s just not time for the little quirky stuff. Other than that the delivery was perfect and I love your passion
Yeah, love the content, but a little too much editing and random references that just aren’t necessary or entertaining.

So much information on your videos, I really enjoy watching it, but at the end I feel like half I didn't understand exactly how to do it and the other half I already forgot already. Would love all of these in a PDF file that I can read. Maybe one day for the members who pay? Thanks.
Thank you for great videos. It would be even more pleasant if you did not have all those flare transitions. It makes you feel exhausted and difficult to concentrate on the things needed to concentrate. On
Really cool collection of tricks!! You probably know this but everybody else and especially beginners please note: a good clean mix with good balances makes up 80% of a mix and tricks like this maybe make up 20% max. So you might have one or two tricks on a mix but not much more
The trick of eq ing the fx is a trick I found out early on. I was mixing a song at the university, as a student and a beginner I was a bit overwhelmed with all the options I had for settings in the Lexicon 960L we had there and I liked the sound of a plate in some sources, a room on others and a hall. Then I realize that if I use eq to make them blend together it will work easier for me, so I soloed the returns and I eq them so they sound good together, it worked and I learned a valuable lesson. Recently I use eq on the return channel of my reverb in a live situation, taming the lowmids etc for some songs and some vocalists , I use or bypass the eq accordingly
I like the info but the editing is a bit too much for me. It’s dizzying. Too high paced and too many cutaways and transitions. Couldn’t watch the whole thing. Just my opinion. Again good information though
Really like the tips shared in this and all your videos, but the editing is distracting and takes away from the message. It’s ironic because the tips are about subtleties it could take lots of practice to get right, your audience must care about mixing enough to click and then use these tips on projects we’ve spent time on too, but the editing style treats your audience as if they have the shortest attention span. It verges on disrespectful to our engagement that we need so much going on to retain all this. It also makes it very difficult to use this video as a reference. I had to rewind several times on a couple tips to follow what the tip actually was, only to be caught watching the filler edit parts over and over. If this video was meant to be split into hundreds of bite sized ones, this style would make more sense. But there’s even a flashing strobe on the outer frame when its just you talking, the only explanation I can think of is trying to hypnotize the audience to keep retention or something. And if the point is watch time, you could cut this entire video by more than half by taking out so much filler dialogue, like calling CLA Lord of the Mix just once, and still keep some memes. When the knowledge shared is good, we’ll watch regardless, multiple times, but not when the video’s editing is unwatchable. Jokes, memes, zoom-ins, etc are great on YT. You have a lot of good stuff to share and there’s clearly a lot of work put into this. Hope this feedback is helpful, I will be using the tips I understood so thank you for making it
Yes 100%, I'm not even ten minutes into the video and it is extremely difficult to force myself to stay watching because of just how overloading all of the constantly hugely over the top editing and music.
I would love to know more about the actual techniques and how they translate to different rigs, equipment and scenarios. As opposed to being bombed with different plugins. The video felt like a really long non stop advertisement. I felt I had to update my plugins but not my knowledge when it should be the other way around
That Eric Valentine reminds me of how Illangelo did the bass on The Weeknd's Alone Again: duplicated the keyboard track, downpitched it one octave and low passed it.
If the stereo doesn't go to the right frequency you want to play the final track it doesn't matter how it's going to get mixed it's not going to sound right the final piece is the most
Im sure you've got a lot of knowledge to share or else you would not get to 10k subs but I just couldn't get past the first 2 minutes with how much filler and fluf there is 🥴
Great video. Is the a copyright reason why you can’t play a 5 second example to at least some of these techniques? I would assume the Fair Use doctrine would allow it but maybe not.
The Beau midi bass low end thing!! I remember seeing cats doing this with trillian yearsssss ago. Such a great technique if the performance is matched identically. Can run into phase issues if not
I appreciate the transitions and quirky things - I think they set your channel apart and will help you stay as true to yourself as you are in the long run (something that can get people lost).
No one knows how to play a stereo so how you put together all the tracks aren't really going to make any difference until you can get the stereo stay on the frequency that you want

Seriously, chill out on the comedy fillers

strongly agree
+1
Loving this but, can we get chapter markers?
Skip to 1:59... and then be prepared to hover over the 5-second skip button quite a bit after that...
good and helpful content but dude chill with all the fillers and reference clips. got hella old really quick.
Respect the man for his effort bro ! I was very entertained .!
Seriously. It was like an episode of Family Guy.
Yeah, love the content, but a little too much editing and random references that just aren’t necessary or entertaining.

That’s some exhausting game changing right there.
Thank you for great videos. It would be even more pleasant if you did not have all those flare transitions. It makes you feel exhausted and difficult to concentrate on the things needed to concentrate. On
But retention
I agree. That's part of the reason I stopped watching.
I feel like I’m watching Ancient Aliens
Question
What do you mean by bouncing of drums (5:12)
He said “Balancing of drums” in terms of volume
Really cool collection of tricks!! You probably know this but everybody else and especially beginners please note: a good clean mix with good balances makes up 80% of a mix and tricks like this maybe make up 20% max. So you might have one or two tricks on a mix but not much more
Yes, after 10 years i finally got this. After balance, automation and movement with elements makes the magic in the end
Dude! What? A lot of these are fire af!!!
thanks for checking out the video and happy you found these tricks helpful!
Feels like this dude is trying to sell me something
This Channel is Gold!!
Life saver! I've learnt so much from this video, I can't wait to try these tricks.
Very good video brother! Great content
Time stamps would be awesome.
Is in the grain of it that you can hear or maybe it's the hurts how you keep it driven in a certain hurts
Best tricks video I've seen in over a decade of watching this stuff

I like your delivery, keep up the creative.
In a way that can be controlled even at low and high volume
I like the info but the editing is a bit too much for me. It’s dizzying. Too high paced and too many cutaways and transitions. Couldn’t watch the whole thing. Just my opinion. Again good information though
Thankyou!
Got to keep some sort of a threshold the anything that crosses will be distorted anything below is but it's got to be usable and natural distortion

Thanks for the video and some nice humour in it🔊🤘🏻
The base of the Lowe's not necessarily supposed to be hurt it just manipulates and bends everything
I almost die laughing of your videos man, thanks so much lol.
Congrats on 10K dude.
Lots of gold tips in this one. Nice vid.
looking good man wasnt even sure i was on the right channel
What a compilation wow
That Eric Valentine reminds me of how Illangelo did the bass on The Weeknd's Alone Again: duplicated the keyboard track, downpitched it one octave and low passed it.
If the stereo doesn't go to the right frequency you want to play the final track it doesn't matter how it's going to get mixed it's not going to sound right the final piece is the most
You know what I want
You got to have enough compression to keep the voltage constant where there's no Peaks no higher and higher lows
It's got to be driven off frequency we got to drive it to where maybe the Hertz change
You say it feels like there's something missing yet it's in the stereo
Thanks bro, you are a treasure!
Im sure you've got a lot of knowledge to share or else you would not get to 10k subs but I just couldn't get past the first 2 minutes with how much filler and fluf there is 🥴
Mod Delay III has a polarity button. Stock pro tools delay
Really wish you had given an explanation of how to do these
Love your videos brother and this compilation of your videos is perfect 🔥 needed to refresh my mind when mixing.
There's got to be some kind of threshold so maybe a high and low threshold
You got to be able to hear the grain of the amp
And the Ant that's got to be able to come to a complete stop even for one cycle
I need each of these broken down lol
Great video. Is the a copyright reason why you can’t play a 5 second example to at least some of these techniques? I would assume the Fair Use doctrine would allow it but maybe not.
Thanks for tips!!!!
Thank you
The lowest frequencies going to bend everything
Theres probably some helpful info in this channel but i cant watch this ...its been 5 minutes and u still hsvent said anything..
You missed out big time.
@@Supermaannnn doubt it
You want to get it's got to stay in a compressed State at all times
holy crap! You lost a lot of weight! You're looking great man.
love this thxxxxxxx
The Beau midi bass low end thing!! I remember seeing cats doing this with trillian yearsssss ago. Such a great technique if the performance is matched identically. Can run into phase issues if not
Oh yeah any Distortion that you use has got to be natural I can't have circuitry it can only be in are or or or the mistake
FFS.. please stop using term "Game Changer" !!
You're home stereo and just got to fall into a random pattern
Homie you look fucking great
The scariest got to be capable of going to an extreme Distortion not kind that makes noise
That's another thing you don't need 800 Grand you only need 10 cents or dime
Yeah but you're home stereo or your car stereo is just as important as all the mixing is
I know what you're looking for but I don't know how to say it if you can believe that
Cool shirt…
I'm sure there was good info but couldnt get past 5 minutes due to useless ADHD fillers
Do you really have to produce these videos like it's a get rich quick pyramid scheme? It's insufferable, can't get through 2min of it.
Lot of good info, but damn, tiring to listen to. Could be distilled, for mroe simplicity and impact, like a good mix...
Because the base is the devil or the lowest
Home stereos in Mobile stereos don't work right so all the mixing you do is not going to help
No no no no you're using too many plugins you got to keep your distortions natural and controllable
You want to get married
Lost some weight? Looking well man
Wow I didn’t even connect the dots that it was the same person, mad respect!
yup! spent the last couple of months getting back into shape. thanks for the kind words!
thank you!
@@PluginAlley good to hear, you're doing great!
Nice tricks. However, it’s a real hard video to follow. Next time lay off the coffee.
Idk why bruh but this feels AI generated lol
THE "FUNNY" FILLERS ARE WAY
TOO MUCH !!!!!
each one should be should be 3 seconds max
You got to be able to hear the grain of the amp
