You people are nuts. I walked 5k-10k for about a year and I dropped 36kg (116 down to 80kg) within 4 months. I absolutely positively didn’t stop drinking juices. I just ate healthy (small doses in the first 2 months), no soft drinks, and quit junk food all together. Once I maintained 80kg, I started eating twice a day since I noticed I was losing more weight than I would like (I’m 6 foot). 20k isn’t hard. It’s just unnecessary, especially if you’re doing it for weight loss. You might get planter fasciitis and believe me you don’t want that to happen. 10k is superb for running or walking. And in summer it’s perfect. It all comes down to food.
I increased my walking about a year ago when I found out I had osteoporosis. I knew I needed to do more weight-bearing exercises, so I increased my walking. Within a very short time I no longer had calf cramps at night and I was sleeping better. & Ive lost 15#!
For me I can complete 20k steps by waking an hour in the morning so that’s about 6k steps and then throughout the day I would walk 10 minutes every hour and without even realizing I would reach my goal :)
If you want to use that hour in the morning more efficiently, just go to the gym. It might hurt you more, but that's just because you are achieving actual growth for your muscles

I tracked how much I walked on one of my hardest days at landscaping and it said 16 miles on my watch. Not sure how accurate those things are but it was 16 miles in a 9 hour day. I would walk in a fast pace because we needed to get the jobs done by the end of the day. To this day I still walk at a fast pace lol it stuck with me.

I started 11 days ago. I start walking by 6pm, to go to dinner as well After dinner, i walk again Then finish by 10 pm. But i start walking stairs 1 hr. To finish by 11 pm. I can see my clothes fitting me better in 11 days alone. What more if I make it to 30 days 😂

Depends on how much you eat. If your daily calories meet or exceed what your body burns you won't lose weight. There must be a deficit or nothing will happen.
