Morning View was the soundtrack to my 2009-2010 And Mike opened up complexities of sound I had never heard before and wanted to learn so badly, it drove me to pick up an instrument.
I HAD THE OPPORTUNITY TO SEE THEM LIVE PLAYING IN MY COUNTRY VENEZUELA IN 2008, IT WAS ONE OF THE BEST MOMENTS OF MY LIFE. THEY ARE EXCELLENT MUSICIANS
No he is a musical genius. Lyrics are just one side of this band each and everyone of them are gifted at what they do no one carries anyone and they had been playing together for almost 10 yrs before they got famous or any recognition and it shows.
I'm 15, and I'm literally obsessed with him lol this is not okay, he has such an amazing voice, and he just seems like a genuinely nice person. His band is absolutely amazing, I wish more kids my age listened to this band :(
I’ve been a longtime Incubus fan since 2001, it’s good to see that someone young as you can identify good music like Incubus! I remember I was 11yrs old and my older sister got me into them, I even started skating and letting my hair grow out haha
@@ostrodmit Incubus is not underrated at all... They've been there since 90s tho, I started listening to em in 1999 with Make yourself. They had their time, and trust me, as a long time fan they have changed a lot also. Still love them till the day.
17 for me. I wish we could go back in time. I wonder if there will ever be good old-fashioned concerts again or if everything will have to be different from now on. Hearing this is "the new normal" concerns me. At least we came of age when we did. THAT, I am thankful for.
this was Brandon and Incubus in their prime. They slowly turned worse over time, lost interest in the last decade when they turned to trash. Can't say I even know their last album that came out. Good to reconnect with the music of my youth.
@@awelldressedape3419 i wouldn't say trash, just more simple. their lives have changed and with that, so did their music. It's still with passion and for themselves. The last album 8 has some classic incubus elements and I've learned to love what was after light grenades. I say that a Crow left of the murder was just as good as the early stuff. Look at them with not just the style but its soul connection with no expectations.
I'm 15 and I listen to the morning view album on repeat. This song is absolute perfection. I've tried to get kids my age to listen to this band but they don't like it :( but that's okay, they can stick with their trash music lol

I was born in 1990 and didn’t know until my twenties that ALL OF MY FAVORITE MUSIC came out before I turned 10. Time’s wack like that; here’s hoping we witness some revolutionary music first-hand.

I hope you find what you are searching for. have a great adventure.
+TheHilikus89 Couldn't have worded it better. Takes me back to my mid twenties when, like you said, I was still hopeful and the future was uncertain but full of promise. Now at 41 I feel like my best years are behind me and life has lost that zeal. The music is what I have left of that.
I'm only 22 but I'm feeling that already... definite cynicism with life and everything... like I had my hopeful phase and it's already fading fast :S but I send love to you and everyone who has commented and I hope you find your sparks, your raison d'être once more. there is too much good in this world for us to lose out :/
The Intro to this song always makes me cry. .. it has so much emotion in it. I always say music is suppose to make you feel something when you listen to it. It’s crazy because I’m Hip Hop head through and through but Incubus is my favorite band!

One of their most underrated songs
Their sound quality is flawless. Literally sounds like your just playing the album. Incredible
His Voice is so Clean !
Brandon was always an incredible live performer, straight up outclassed anyone else on the scene in their prime.
the intro is just ethereal... full of emotion! i could listen to that part over and over again
very 90's camp, surf vibes

Its amazing how this sounds so closely to the studio version. Simply amazing.
Live with these guys is always better...
The sign of a truly great band, very rare indeed.
DharaosGaming I was about to comment the same thing lol
I heard brandon used to get accused of lip syncing cause he sounds so close to the album version. awesome vocals indeed
This is what happens when actual musicians play live.
Saw them my senior year in 2003, still the greatest concert I've ever been to. Prob my #1 band of all time!
Seen them twice in concert, they put on a hell of a show
Poor you
It's the amazing bass playing that glues this masterpiece together.
You won't get enough likes on this comment but it's at least partially true. Haha Brandon's voice is the star at the end of the song though
Yea definitely but that guitar part is so amazing
I’d give anything to go back to 16 years old when this album dropped again.
