Elizabeth… I have one for you 11 AM, by Incubus from this same line of live performance by them. It’s a song that showcases Brandon’s falsetto with lower tones, it has such a groovy melodic tone, it will sway you up and down like a roller coaster. It’s one of my absolute favorite songs from their second album Morning View, KEEP UP INCUBUS 🤘🏻♥️ Right now my anytime voice is Vessel from Sleep Token currently lol
Brandon has a great sense of rhythm because he actually plays percussion (djembe, bongo) and sometimes plays in some songs! "New Skin" is one of those songs, there's a Morning View Session performance too :)
Anyone else love when she gets excited and starts to lean forward and looks like she starts to rise off her chair? Like she is floating off into the music. This entire performance was phenomenal btw.
I absolutely love her passion for the craft. Not many people have that fire and maybe a hint of "innocence" in her interpretations. All of Elizabeth's videos have made me feel more deeply about the music I have been listening to for decades.
As somebody who loves to sing and is a **diehard** Incubus fan, I love seeing you analyze Brandon's voice and that you love it so much!! Brandon is my biggest hero, he inspired me to draw and sing again after I quit for years due to bullying. I've seen them live 4 times and have met Brandon twice. He's not just an incredible singer...he's a talented visual artist, and one of the most kind and down to earth people I've ever met!
I saw them a few years back before the pandemic hit, and they were literally PERFECT. As an avid metal head who generally isn't a fan of the alternative rock style, Incubus is beyond Stellar (See what I did there)
You have insanely accurate observations of how a word is pronounced. The precision..... Incubus are one of the cleanest sounding live bands i have ever seen/heard.
20 years ago the girls I was crushing on in middle school were all infatuated with Brandon Boyd. I pretended not to be jealous. I was quite jealous. At the risk of my retraumatization, I sincerely enjoy appreciating his incredible talent through your analysis. :)
"Love Hurts" by Incubus is the song that got me into them back in like 2008. It was a free 1080p live video showcased on the Playstation network. His voice was so hauntingly beautiful live that it pulled me in.
Brandon is such a dream, his voice is amazing and Incubus have some of the most dynamic amazing songs. Are You In? is my personal favorite, Aqueous Transitions is also amazing.
My favorite song of them was Drive. It was easy to play on guitar around the campfire on the beach. I guess incubus was a very popular group with the surfer crowd, at least in Latin America it was. It was catchy and and probably their most popular song at the time.
My bets on your favorites are still going to be "just a phase" "the warmth" " Mexico". Please stay with the morning view sessions performances! Live at red rocks was good to but the intimacy, ambiance, and overall performance of morning view sessions was the best
@@ajaehall7695 the whole performance really was a master class especially from knowing the studio recordings and hearing all the changes they made to the arrangements in Morning View Sessions just shows how next level they are as a band
I knew she was hooked when she did her first video of Incubus. You could see her starting to fall, especially for Brandon. 😂 I know that giddiness firsthand. She is 19 yr old me in 2000. 😍
Maynard James Keenan (along with Brandon) would be my anytime voice. Between Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer ... he hits everything a vocalist can do! I LOVE your analysis of this song BTW... your observations add so much to a song I have literally heard over a thousand times. THANK YOU!!!
Not seeing a lotta people suggest it but the song New Skin is what got me into Incubus back in the late 90s. Brandon Boyd has such an incredible vocal performance in that song.
@@jakedixon6360 actually the same for me. It was in a PlayStation game. I think it was test drive off road 1 or 2. I found out what the song was and bought science. Though I can say I became a huge super fan was until make yourself. Now that could be timing. Make yourself came out when I was in high school along with marijuana. That 3 album run of science to morning view is hard to beat. Once dirk left the band they lost something. No offense to Ben Kinney. He’s an amazing musician but it just wasn’t the right fit in my opinion. Crow left of the murder was the last album of theirs I bought
Incubus will always be my number 1 most underrated band. So much style and talent. Amongst all the Numetal noise they were doing their thing, doing it well
Preach! Brandon doesn’t have the flashy, fake personality though, total opposite, which wouldn’t go well with trying to market them to the masses. You just see them live and fall in love & I’d imagine they like knowing their fans really are their ride or die ones.
I don't exactly know why, but a lot of my friends convinced me that they were just trashy pop rock, and so it took me a few years to actually listen to them myself and was blown away by their rock sound.
Incubus was a big part of my childhood in the early 2000s. I finally dug into their whole body of work around when Covid hit- they got me through it all. I’ve now seen them live 5 times: including their 2022 Red Rocks show. I’ve met so many incredible people BECAUSE of them, made friends, and even met them, and they are SO kind. It was so hot in Atlanta, and Brandon gave me his water, while they all lectured my friends on the importance of hydration and happily handed over the rest of their waters😅- they’re amazing, in every way, and they deserve all their flowers.
The Morning View album is full of great Brandon Boyd vocals. Some of my favorites are.. "11am" "Mexico" and "Aqueous Transmission". Please continue with the Incubus reactions!!! They are an incredibly talented band and I don't think they get enough credit for their pure talent and beautiful tones. Also their albums, "Make Yourself" and "A Crow Left of the Murder" are just incredible and very different in each. Thank you for everything you do!! I love your videos so much!
You should check out "The Warmth". I really liked the early Incubus, but this is when I fell in love with them. To this day one of my Top 5 Songs of all time...
While FAR from their most popular song/album, the song “If Not Now, When?” is Brandon’s absolute vocal peak. It’s incredible his range, control, and emotion.
I remember listening to this album for an entire year. Make Yourself didn't leave my Sony Discman at any point during 2000. Really one of my all-time favorite albums. So many incredible tracks. Pardon Me, Out From Under, Make Yourself, The Warmth, Stellar, Drive...every song feels unique and different. Some days are "Pardon Me" days, other days are "Privilege" days. Feels like there's a song for every mood in that album.
Warning, Anna Molly, Aqueous Transmission, and Certain Shade of Green are all wonderful tracks from these fellas I think you'd like. Also I'd love to see you get into Blue October some time. Weight of the world live would be great for vocal analysis but honestly you can probably go nuts. A lot of their songs are powerfully emotional so just be prepared for that.
PLEASE do "Drive" from Incubus. I'm not the hugest Incubus fan, being a metal head from birth, but the lyrical content in this song is special to me. It has been, and still is a go to song for me when my depression takes me down to the depths. "Drive" pulls me back up and reminds me that I'm the one that has to "Grab the wheel and Drive!" I'm sincerely curious to hear your "voice" on this song. Whether you know it or not, your "reactions" carry more weight than you might realize... Take that for what it's worth, from 1 headbanger to a spoiledbymetal angel. 😇🤘😁
The tunes that sound like synthesizers are indeed guitar effects! Mike Einziger uses a crazy amount of pedal effects and combines them in inusual ways to create that unique Incubus sound.
“Sing like a drummer” is such a cool way to describe it. That makes it sound like it should be bombastic until you think about how many different types of sounds can come from drums. Definitely should be explored.
I think what I love most about this band is they sound a lot like the studio recording but in a lot of ways even better live. Shows they don't need to do a lot of correction post and can actually do it live.
Especially this session. Really intimate, as if they're jamming, but still with the power that they have for their bigger shows. Brandon's really clear here, but still distinct from the studio recording.
I’ve been listening to Incubus for years but looked at it differently only after your video. Thank you for making me realise how the whole band is super precise here. It’s not only Brandon but every band member doing lots of small things that contribute to the overall sound. Makes you realise how details is everything!
Drive is one of my favorite songs by Incubus. I used to use a short little guitar riff from that song as the text alert on my phone back in the day. I also agree that Incubus is a good "anytime" band. Another good "anytime" band for me is A Perfect Circle. Similar in the sense that they aren't too heavy, and have a little bit more of an "easy listening" type vibe.
I was blessed to be in high school during the early 2000's and saw them live in their prime and got and still do get goosebumps thinking about. Everyone knew Brandon was a god; Glad to see them get more love
One of my favourite songs of theirs is called "Just A Phase", quite underrated... It's an incredible showcase of Brandons vocals, and the band as a whole really shines through. There is a Morning View Sessions perfomance as well :)
Totally agree with the "anytime voice" take! His voice is so universal that I find myself listening to them no matter what I feel. It also helps that the other members of the band and their sound have this "universal feel" to them. Also, his live vocal performances sound exactly like the studio albums. His vocal prowess is part of what differentiates them from their contemporaries. It is such a treat to watch them live cause you know you'd be getting your money's worth. They're one of the most underrated bands of their era.
Hundreds of hours of my life have been spent listening to incubus! These guys inspired me to get into playing music in jr high. Brandons lyrics are so underrated, one of the best writers.
Incubus and Boyd are still in my top 5 bands for their genre. Morning View and Make Yourself are TIMELESS masterpieces. Another one of my favorite songs of Incubus is "Dig". Great vvocals there too!
As far as the DJ changing pitch, it can be attained by drifting where he is scratching, he is maintaining the speed back and forth but moving 6-9 o’clock to 8-11 o’clock, as the music on the record has a different pitch on it already. His ability to replicate exactly what he does on the recording, live is wild. He is able to adjust to find the exact spot in a way that is almost unbelievable.
OG Incubus fan here. He signed my Ugg boot. That’s right, I was a 2000’s college kid and I had Ugg boots. 😂 Also got a tattoo of the twin koi (off the Morning View CD-rom) fish with my bestie. Only have two tattoos in my 38-year old body and one of them is Incubus.
The thing with Incubus is, almost no record sounds like the one before and you would have no problem doing an interesting video on every song. They are just that good!
There is so much to unpack with this band. Going back to 1995 before they were an actual rock band with the fungus amungus album, then that transition to rock album “science”. The entire next 4 albums where every song of the album was amazing (make yourself, morning view, light grenades and a crow left of the murder). They have 4 albums after that that still have some really good songs on it as well. If you continued with this band, i would go with songs like love hurts, dig, talk shows on mute, or summer romance.
While working in a recording studio around 2012 came across a DVD of Incubus. They were traveling to different countries and playing with local musicians from the area. What a truly amazing band, so adaptable and present in each moment. Don't know what it was called, just exceptional music. Big fan of the group at seventy years old.
You describing Boyd's voice as an "anytime voice" makes my day. The album this is from, Make Yourself, is my absolute favorite album. I could listen to it every day, yet only be able to critique it regarding how it fit into my life at the time. This is my second-favorite song, after "The Warmth," also in The Morning View Sessions. While the whole album is a gem, maybe check that out? Also, if you like the turntable work here, please, if only in your own time, listen to "Battlestar Scralatchtica." Not a lot of vocals, but worth a listen!
I love this band. Brandon Boyd is so poetic with his lyrics and he's like extreme eye candy. One of my first crushes in high school! 😍 Amazing voice. You should do Southern Girl, 11am, Mexico, Dig, Drive, Anna Molly, Here in my room, Just a Phase..
Just saw them in concert and they havent lost a step. If you want to hear some great vocals by Brandon I suggest Warning or Drive. Also, Badflower opened for them. Suggest you check them out.
I love "Warning" for the backing vocals (that my brother always made me sing in the car), which is really just the icing on the cake that is this beautifully haunting song.
Brandon's voice, speech patterns, annunciations, accent and pitch/tone control remind me of Karen Carpenter. Although, I can hear a "lisp" or some sort of speech difference when Karen speaks (spoke) It seems to me they both pronounce "R's" similarly. Maybe has to do with how close they grew up to each other in LA area. Thanks for diving into Incubus for us. I was never really sure if they were that tight or had studio help. I think your analysis validates their underrated greatness.
I can never get tired of listening to this song, Brandon's vocals are epic, you were mentioning about the synth sounds, that would be Mike Einziger, the guitarist, some of the stuff he does with a guitar is insane. (also fun fact, Mike wrote the guitar parts in the Avicii song Wake me up)
Yeah. He strikes the chord with the volume off on his guitar and turning the volume up gives you that soft fade in sound. It's a pain to do because striking the chord before the beat you want the sound is tricky.
the list of song from Incubus that everyone should listen to can be summarized as "all their songs" I still remember in high school (in 2000) I just got my first MiniDisc player and a friend gave me a "non copied totally legal" version of their album S.C.I.E.N.C.E, that was a really a defining moment for to take this musical rollercoaster. Each album brings another layer of how music can make us feel emotions. I don't know how to sing and I feel ashamed when I do, the only song I learned I sung to someone is Drive which is the song making me feel all the love I have for my wife who helped me be the better version of myself. And also I asked that when I die "Pardon me" should be played when I'm being incinerated
Brandon Boyd is such a talented soul. Oh and his ballads.... Swoon. 🤤😌 Stellar and I Miss You are my faves. ❤️Full band mode is great but the acoustic versions are so sweet. Brandon is one of my anytime voices. So is Corvyx who you should DEFINITELY check out. His vocals will get ya in your feels!
Watching you nerd out while reacting to Brandon Boyd really threw me back to how I felt when I first heard them and watching them live. Such a fun trip down memory lane 😊
So many good Incubus songs. I'd like to see her check out A Certain Shade of Green so she can see how Brandons voice blends with more intense sounds from the rest of the band.
I wonder if you've noticed the unique way Brandon works with the mic. It's not that noticeable throughout most of the song due to the camera angle, but it's very visible in the last chorus. Just watch how he moves the mic to and away from his mouth with each note he sings and the precision of these movements - he knows EXACTLY where to place the mic to best fit each sound and pitch in order to avoid drops and spikes in volume. This is basically manual sound compression, and although many singers do it to an extent depending on a certain microphone type, I've never seen anyone do it with such calculated precision. I very much recommend watching their live performance of the song "Rogues" where Brandon's vocals and mic technique are on full display.
Super validating to watch this. I grew up on Incubus and listened to Make Yourself and Morning View literally hundreds of times each if not thousands. And Brandon Boyd of that era is my favorite voice ever.
We may not always know why things are special, but we can feel it. Incubus was one of the best live shows I've ever been to. Sounded almost exactly like the album, obviously not a backing track, incredible show, such unique styles of playing and singing.
You’re absolutely right. I saw them in 2001 after morning view came out. That still one of the best shows I’ve been to. But it was the first show from a major band I had been to. It ruined me for a bit. I thought everyone sounded like shit after that. After a few shows I realized imcubus was just the exception
I love Incubus and their evolution throughout their first several albums. They have a wonderful since of humor and are extremely talented and innovative! I have loved this song for decades, but never realized what a positive message the lyrics actually have. I just realized the other day that he's talking about burning and being reborn like a phoenix!
I've been waiting for this one. Also, this won't be a popular opinion but I'd love a reaction to "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus. It's my go to relaxing song.
If you wanna hear some song that show off Brandon's immaculate voice, check out the song and album "If Not Now, When", or songs from "Light Grenades", like "Oil and Water", Love Hurts", "Dig", or "Earth to Bella".
That falsetto Brandon hits during the bridge instantly made this the de facto version of the song for me. Wish this whole set was on streaming services.
There's an acoustic version of this that's amazing. It's the only song I ever called a radio station to request. Definitely worth a listen offline sometime.
I would love to see you do Jeff Buckley. Everyone knows him from his cover of Leonard Cohen's "Hallelujah," but a song like "The Last Goodbye" really let him shine as both a guitarist and vocalist. Breaks my damn heart every time I hear that song.
Man, everytime I see someone naming JB in a reaction channel comments section, I cannot think about any other song. "Lover, you should've come over" needs to be the song.
@@gabrielnunez9927 I just recently discovered this song and it dug deeply into my soul. What a voice and spirit, and tragic loss. I actually discovered JB from a Brandon Boyd interview, and now have learned he was heavily influenced by him.

Brandon is my biggest hero, he inspired me to draw and sing again after I quit for years due to bullying. I've seen them live 4 times and have met Brandon twice. He's not just an incredible singer...he's a talented visual artist, and one of the most kind and down to earth people I've ever met!
Wow that’s a great comment. He does seem to be a great guy. Singing does that. 😊
I saw them a few years back before the pandemic hit, and they were literally PERFECT. As an avid metal head who generally isn't a fan of the alternative rock style, Incubus is beyond Stellar (See what I did there)
morning view best album ever!!!
You have insanely accurate observations of how a word is pronounced. The precision..... Incubus are one of the cleanest sounding live bands i have ever seen/heard.
the guy in the background with the red pants is a living legend.
YES long live red pants guy!

@@danmanning4129 I laughed out loud at that. Thanks, mate!
@@portishphonic Glad I could brighten your day, Friend. Cheers!
Who is he really? Cult
Love hurts is one of my favorites. Though I bought S.C.I.E.N.C.E. When it came out in 1997 and it is still my favorite Incubus album.
Love Hurts is such an emotional ride. Incubus as a whole really knows how to create cool emotion with their sound effects and strong guitar drives
@@thelashcast5321yes 💯
That whole album is amazing, Dig will forever be on a playlist for me
Love hurts or Drive are the songs that brought so many people into Incubus
Brandon is such a dream, his voice is amazing and Incubus have some of the most dynamic amazing songs. Are You In? is my personal favorite, Aqueous Transitions is also amazing.
Aqueous Transitions is such a good vibe for me, always has been. Super relaxing. I need to listen to it again.
The warmth and dig!!!
That is such a morning song and my absolute favourite. Makes the day so much better
Best feedback right there. Not present on the MVS is 11am, Vitamin, Dig(?)- Circles is there. Mexico is there. Have fun.
The warmth is amazing.
@@ajaehall7695 the whole performance really was a master class especially from knowing the studio recordings and hearing all the changes they made to the arrangements in Morning View Sessions just shows how next level they are as a band
Yes, The Warmth is one of my very favorites
The Warmth is probably my favourite song by these guys.
As a long time Incubus fan, it really is such a treat watching you geek out over his voice.
I agree. This video makes me so happy!
Underrated music
I knew she was hooked when she did her first video of Incubus. You could see her starting to fall, especially for Brandon. 😂 I know that giddiness firsthand. She is 19 yr old me in 2000. 😍
Maynard James Keenan (along with Brandon) would be my anytime voice. Between Tool, A Perfect Circle, and Puscifer ... he hits everything a vocalist can do!
I LOVE your analysis of this song BTW... your observations add so much to a song I have literally heard over a thousand times. THANK YOU!!!
I’ve seen Incubus in concert 7 times and still try to see them every time they are playing near me. I love Brandon’s voice!
Not seeing a lotta people suggest it but the song New Skin is what got me into Incubus back in the late 90s. Brandon Boyd has such an incredible vocal performance in that song.
Anything in science is good. I’d go with glass. When I think of this channel I think more morning view and make yourself
New Skin got me into incubus as well!!
Gotta say “Anti-Gravity Love Song”. His voice on that one is 👌. Of course, Love New Skin, too.
For me it was Vitamin that introduced me to them. Not a bad song on that whole album. Still my favorite of theirs.
Pardon Me was my introduction to Incubus. I've been a fan ever since I heard that song.
Tus 3 favoritas son las mismas que las mías ✌🏻✌🏻
You should check out "The Warmth". I really liked the early Incubus, but this is when I fell in love with them. To this day one of my Top 5 Songs of all time...
The warmth is a great song!! Support this 💯
Yes! The warmth it is
Upvote for the Warmth! One of my favourites ❤
I came here to recommend The Warmth as well. I am happy to see someone else beat me to it.
if you haven't checked it out already, the vocals in Mexico by Incubus are simply amazing.
I've always considered Boyd to have some of the best vocals since guys like Cornell and Vedder. Surprised it's taken you this long to dive into him.
One of my favorite Incubus songs. "Wish you were here," is a really good song too.
"Wish you were Here" was the first song of theirs she did.
Yep she did that one first! Go check it out! :)
While FAR from their most popular song/album, the song “If Not Now, When?” is Brandon’s absolute vocal peak. It’s incredible his range, control, and emotion.
that is such a great song!
This is my choice as well. The 'Live in Studio' performance is amazing
Great choice! I feel like this album gets ignored but the song and album are so good.
In the company of wolves too
100%
Brandon Boyd has been my ANYTIME voice for almost 30 years! Thank you for analyzing this song. Please do more Incubus!
I wanted to suggest Blue October also recently. Great pick!
Warning is a very underrated song she definitely needs to react to this
@@chrisburrelljr9270 absolutely and the music video is really simple but has quite an impact all the same.
I love Incubus. Aqueous transmission is a beautiful song.
Brandon is my co-favorite vocalist, with Mike Patton and Chris Cornell. Vocal legends
Mike Patton forever and ever
Mike Patton is often overlooked, but an has an incredible voice.
I've heard people refer to some singers as they "sing like a drummer", which I think totally applies to Brandon.
Peak incubus was this album. By far.
I saw him at Rockville 2023. He’s still awesome. It was crazy to see him after years of listening to them as a child
The live unplugged version of Drive is incredible, my favourite Incubus song!
I was blessed to be in high school during the early 2000's and saw them live in their prime and got and still do get goosebumps thinking about. Everyone knew Brandon was a god; Glad to see them get more love
Same, I have seen them several times. They are amazing live....Brandon's voice is studio quality, live and it blows my mind EVERY TIME!

There is only one God. Jesus is Lord.
@@mckenna649 How interesting, So I am almost positive I saw them on this tour as well. lol. CRAZY! The internet is TOO BIG! :D
There's an element of Faith No More's Mike Patton in his voice
I want more incubus. Saw him at red rocks live
One of my favourite songs of theirs is called "Just A Phase", quite underrated...
It's an incredible showcase of Brandons vocals, and the band as a whole really shines through.
There is a Morning View Sessions perfomance as well :)
Anything from Make Yourself is just GOLD but this is one of my favs from the album as well.

Brandon Boyd and Mike Patton are my anytime singers. Incubus and Faith No More formed me as a person
11:07 and it's people's mindless games....the harmony between the vocals and the instruments just give me chills!
OMG PLEASEEEE do Dig! If you love those audible breaths, you will LOVE Dig!!!
Honestly, every song by Incubus is amazing. Love Brandon Boyd SO MUCH.
Incubus and Boyd are still in my top 5 bands for their genre. Morning View and Make Yourself are TIMELESS masterpieces.
Another one of my favorite songs of Incubus is "Dig". Great vvocals there too!
Under my umbrella has been my favorite incubus song since I was a kid
Incubus doesn't get the credit or praise they deserve. I really enjoy their music
They're probably the most under rated alt rock band from that time period.
This band was my Jr high and hs experience
While it is true that Incubus has an amazing discography, I feel most people overlook Stellar. Such a superb example of Brandon’s vocal flexibility.
So many memories!
Yes! 🤜🤛
If only people could hear the amount of "glue" he adds throughout the songs.... DJ Kilmore is a legend
The Warning vocals is incredible. Brandon really gets down
I did a cover vocal warning couple of days ago.
How cool is it that Brandon Boyd can be someone's "new crush" after 30 years of performing?
+1 on The Warmth ... I can give myself goosepimples just by thinking about the intro :)
You should do The Warmth! It’s my all time favorite Incubus song! I’ve seen them live and he sounds this good EVERY time!!! He’s phenomenal!
Yes!! Especially from this recording of the morning view sessions. My favorite version ever 🥰
Just saw them in concert and they havent lost a step. If you want to hear some great vocals by Brandon I suggest Warning or Drive. Also, Badflower opened for them. Suggest you check them out.
Saw them this summer too, second time seeing them, was just as good as the first.
I saw some clips of them from this Summer and it sounded like they tuned down some of the more difficult song for Brandon.
I love "Warning" for the backing vocals (that my brother always made me sing in the car), which is really just the icing on the cake that is this beautifully haunting song.
god I hope she doesnt do drive.
Warning and Drive are two of his least impressive vocal performances… So many better picks than that.
@@zoixdark yep, he also uses a delay and a phase shifter on top of the volume swells iirc
Brandon Boyd is like a fine wine, has only gotten better with age.
the list of song from Incubus that everyone should listen to can be summarized as "all their songs"
I still remember in high school (in 2000) I just got my first MiniDisc player and a friend gave me a "non copied totally legal" version of their album S.C.I.E.N.C.E, that was a really a defining moment for to take this musical rollercoaster.
Stellar!!!
Watching you nerd out while reacting to Brandon Boyd really threw me back to how I felt when I first heard them and watching them live. Such a fun trip down memory lane 😊
Incubus have been smashing it since the late 90’s. Brandon’s still got the skills and we’re all nearly 50 now.
So many good Incubus songs. I'd like to see her check out A Certain Shade of Green so she can see how Brandons voice blends with more intense sounds from the rest of the band.
I suggested this but the acoustic version!
@@teranceauleta7543the AT&T acoustic session’s version
I LOVE the way you nerd out!! I used to be just like you. I hope to get that passion back one day. Your excitement and joy is so inspiring!
Incubus is definitely my anytime band as a whole! Their music can mirror, and bring balance to whatever mood I am going through.
I love Incubus and their evolution throughout their first several albums. They have a wonderful since of humor and are extremely talented and innovative!
I have loved this song for decades, but never realized what a positive message the lyrics actually have. I just realized the other day that he's talking about burning and being reborn like a phoenix!
Theres like 20+ songs of incubus where Brandon really sings beautiful 🥰😘
I've been waiting for this one. Also, this won't be a popular opinion but I'd love a reaction to "Aqueous Transmission" by Incubus. It's my go to relaxing song.
Same. ... and I actually think Elizabeth would be blown away by Aqueous Transmission. Very fascinating and thoughtful vibe.
If you wanna hear some song that show off Brandon's immaculate voice, check out the song and album "If Not Now, When", or songs from "Light Grenades", like "Oil and Water", Love Hurts", "Dig", or "Earth to Bella".
Add “Summer Romance (anti gravity love song)” or “Deep Inside” to that list.
If not now when is his peak. Just incredible.
I would also add "Warning" and "are you in"
Yep. Love Hurts. And Southern Girl. And The Warmth
+1 to react to Dig!!
11am and wish you were here are two of my favorite songs from incubus! They’re so talented
That falsetto Brandon hits during the bridge instantly made this the de facto version of the song for me. Wish this whole set was on streaming services.
He raps with a melody and I just love this song, it's a masterpiece :) Excellent evaluation Elizabeth!
There's an acoustic version of this that's amazing. It's the only song I ever called a radio station to request. Definitely worth a listen offline sometime.
_TNvOpYyc38 This is the only copy I could find on youtube, and it's really bad quality. I might have to rip it off the DVD and upload a good copy.
