Since I didn’t have any time to work on Name That Lick #170, I figured I’d do a recap of some old episodes, so here’s #51 to #60.
Some of them will probably be a piece of cake to guess and some others may require a bit more thinking.
Those episodes are right when I started developing the idea of making my own backing tracks instead of playing over the original tunes. You’ll quickly hear which ones were made by me and which ones are the original songs.
Starting at #60-something, I decided to kick it up a notch and to ALWAYS make the backing tracks myself, which is certainly challenging but also brings the quality of the series a couple steps up.
I have to say I am really happy to see the improvements in how my videos sound. When I watch those old ones, the quality of the recording and mix really makes me cringe hahha.

By the way, the last thing that I need is another guitar, but I'm really liking your Charvel. I don't have anything with a maple fretboard.
They claim that it's a maple top. It's actually a veneer, right? Or is it an actual cap?
If I can find a purple one, I'm going for it.
@@NothingNowhere-vu5oq Ive done many Tesla songs but I always focused on the lead parts.I think I only did 1 FULL cover and it was a Steel Panther tune.
@@NothingNowhere-vu5oq And no, the entire neck is maple. It really is an awesome guitar, and that neck is magic!! If you do find one, get it! You won'^t regret it :)
