Kind of strange how they have this one set on dual tone (which I love) for the alert, but then goes single tone (kinda boring) for the wail and then goes back to dual tone for the alternate wail. Pick one and if I were in control of tornado sirens, I’d have em on dual tone!
I find it strange that on these 850/995hz MC controllers, the wail isn’t dual toned… The 6024 at Kamehameha Ave and Mamalahoa heh did that too according to some audio recording from a news source. Then again that’s probably the programming bug..
Odd... I have never heard a mod utilizing this tone before, it almost sounds like a minor chord instead of the regular UV tone. I’m a band student, so I should know this stuff.

Why does the peak pitch sound different to me? The third tone is alternate wail, definitely a good catch!!
Siren Hunters it seems off to me too. I'm thinking there is definitely some issues going on whether it be programming or worn out parts

No wonder why this one is doing it. Since they fixed this one to reprogram to dual tone, this one stopped the alternate wail and did whoop
This is likely a 300hz windup, comparing the startup to the Wrigley Field Modulator in Chicago.
Something makes me wonder if there is a bad part in the controller or something
