I was gonna say “wait this is just the same video” and then I saw that “siren thinks its a wolf” was changed to “downshifting” I WAS THE ONE WHO COMMENTED THAT WOOOHOOOOOOO
That Siren was known as the Hula-HOR (its a HOR Siro-Drone) and is located in Lucas County Ohio, It was deactivated recently cause the top part spinning was damaging the siren and the roof of the building it was on. The siren will likely be staying up but there are rumors that it got replaced by a FS 2001 but i may be wrong.
The way my heart beats when I hear literally ANY siren is funny to me while I watch this video. (I think I kinda have a fear of sirens/alarms. But not a phobia)
Most of these are normal, certain sirens are designed to make certain sounds. This includes fast repetition, pitch shifting, slowly getting louder, slight buzzing, & any rotating parts of a siren is designed to project sounds all around it to make sure it’s heard.
I'm hoping you are not thinking that 2:49 (hula-hooping) is normal function. I'm just checking, btw, you did say 'most', but you also said 'any rotating parts'.
@@tovoklore6356 the fact that you only associated my comment with hula hooping lets me know you are clueless or didn’t actually read it since my comment was talking about the sounds. Sirens being rotated on a pole or having parts inside that spin instead of the whole siren (like the design of the first one featured in this video where you can see rotation only inside, called high & low notes). My comment was retaining to “power interruption”, “beeeeeeeewoooooop”, “downshifting”, “hesitation”, & “I’m on speeeeeeeeed”. Certain siren models are designed to make specific sounds, especially when it comes to the difference between tornado sirens & air-raid sirens. The clip you’re referring to is of a model 2 or model 5 siren, one that is not supposed to rotate like that. Next time, actually read the comment before attempting to make someone look like a fool, you’ll only make yourself look foolish.
@@kingsleychizzard Well thanks for answering me I guess, even if you made assumptions about me and then insulted me. The fact that I quoted two parts of your comment aught to have clued you in that I did indeed read your comment fully and I made effort to make sure that I understood you correctly. I did not mean to give you insult which is why I said "I'm just checking, btw". Shame you didn't do me the same courtesy.
@@tovoklore6356 you’re talking about being courteous when you’re backpedaling while claiming to have read my comment fully. Completely zoning in on something irrelevant when I was retaining strictly to sound & now you’re claiming I made assumptions when that is legit what you did to me. Extremely hypocritical, pal. Do me a favor & leave me alone.
@@kingsleychizzard No that is entirely your misunderstanding of my comment. I did think that by saying "I'm just checking, btw." I had made it clear that I did not mean to give insult. Perhaps I should have made my intention more clear and that is my mistake. You mentioned rotating parts in your original comment: "Most of these are normal, certain sirens are designed to make certain sounds. This includes fast repetition, pitch shifting, slowly getting louder, slight buzzing, & ANY ROTATING PARTS OF A SIREN IS DESIGNED TO PROJECT SOUNDS ALL AROUND it to make sure it’s heard." I used caps to highlight the relevant section The clip I pointed out features a siren where a part was rotating, which was also affecting its sound output (in kind of a neat way actually). I pointed it out to make sure that clip was not one of the ones you were talking about in your comment because you did not specify which ones you were talking about. Then you misunderstood my comment and now here we are.
I think I might have actually, maybe a different one but I was awake during a tropical storm and a creepy siren happened, I was terrified, might have been the one at 0:35
For some reason the "Snow blowing" Siren gave me such a creepy feeling. Three Nightmares come to mind where a Siren sounded identical to this Siren: One involving the start of a Nuclear War, and me seeing an atomic blast in the distance, growing ever larger on the horizon as the shock wave hits - I was ten at the time. One where I was trapped in the basement of my former Elementary School and these Demons in the form of Monkeys were chasing me as My Mother was trying to rescue me-I was six. One involving a very powerful tornado destroying my Parent's House, trapping the whole Family. This final example caused me to wake myself up screaming for help. I was 12. I have certainly had my share of some truly terrifying Nightmares.
I have no idea why RUclips recommended me this, but I have since fallen down a rabbit hole, having spent over an hour watching devices make loud, cat-terrifying noises.
This proves why sirens should be tested like at 12:00 pm every, to make sure it works. Also I think some sirens are manually cranked and just need more cranking.
A tornado touched down in my town two months ago. It signaled to warn of the impending tornado, but as it actually took place it was completely silent.

Sirens are sooo cool and eerie at the same time. Mysterious loud things.
2:23 My neighbors lawn mower-

4:32 bro cough too hard, he becamed thunderbolt nahh
I literally had no clue what you meant by “hula- hooping” when I saw I was dying
My child is afraid of loud noises like tornado sirens but she watches these and she likes this 😂❤

1:17 That Siren decided to be a different Siren 🤣

You mentioned rotating parts in your original comment:
"Most of these are normal, certain sirens are designed to make certain sounds. This includes fast repetition, pitch shifting, slowly getting louder, slight buzzing, & ANY ROTATING PARTS OF A SIREN IS DESIGNED TO PROJECT SOUNDS ALL AROUND it to make sure it’s heard." I used caps to highlight the relevant section
The clip I pointed out features a siren where a part was rotating, which was also affecting its sound output (in kind of a neat way actually). I pointed it out to make sure that clip was not one of the ones you were talking about in your comment because you did not specify which ones you were talking about. Then you misunderstood my comment and now here we are.
1:15: Imagine hearing that in the dead of night. And you are alone!
Yeah this one is actually creepy
(you think you're alone)
I think I might have actually, maybe a different one but I was awake during a tropical storm and a creepy siren happened, I was terrified, might have been the one at 0:35
2:03 made me laugh so hard
These are way funnier than they have any right to be. The captions are an excellent addition.
“Honorable mentions” fading right into “AAAAAAAAAA” was incredible lol. Thank you for making this! Love to see some cool sirens :)
That last one at 4:27! 🤣🤣🤣🤣

The 'YOLO " one sounded like it was mocking Hawaiian and then country music. LMAO 😂
3:54 streait up sirinhead type of sound
I miss these videos. They give me strange joy and laughter. Anyone remember 2011?
1:55 old planes belike
0:11 lmao it’s wearing a fedora
Lol yes
3:42 ?!!!!!
sirenhead has a dry throat but tries to cover it up
1:33 this sounded like it was tired but being sarcastically enthusiastic because it was told not to be grumpy lmao
I have no idea why RUclips recommended me this, but I have since fallen down a rabbit hole, having spent over an hour watching devices make loud, cat-terrifying noises.
Banshee at the start goin crazy
Uh Witch one

1:26: Dr Mikes intro if he was a siren.
very accurate.
3:47 Is that you siren head!?
This proves why sirens should be tested like at 12:00 pm every, to make sure it works. Also I think some sirens are manually cranked and just need more cranking.
A tornado touched down in my town two months ago. It signaled to warn of the impending tornado, but as it actually took place it was completely silent.
