The label sent a copy of Sonic Cocktail to the student programming committee at my university and I played the hell out of it. Tried to sell the band to the rest of the committee by playing them Debutante and getting AB to our school, but the committee folk were lame.

Dennis Lake Yes they were A great band live. I had a lucky oppertunityto book and promotr a really coolclub inmy local of Newport Beach CA, Friday nights at The Thunderbird. I wason disability with work from the Elevator/Escalator company I went to a 100 band event at Irvine Meadows and got alot of booking contacts. Some Great Bands ! Like Atimic Boy, One Hit Wonder I heard onRodney on the Rock with the brother of agrest very hot girlfriend. Dan Root the guitar and singer wascool too. He is also in Thr Adolesents and more. Along with Steve Soto and his band Joyride. Steve is inthe Adolesece too and others. RIP SWTEVE! I booked Goldfinger's first Orange Counties show. Got their hookup from ablind date with a pornstar. She was friends with them or ? Burning Groove Manic Hispanic Dramaramaand abunch more. Myfirst night wastheFribetween The OP Pro and US Open week long contests iat HB the nextcity North.I had my friends band Box Car Wino who were featured on Qufeatured onQuicksilvers snowboard video named Cheap and Deep that year after their song. I got permidsion from a Quick Rep Inew to make it a Quicksilver party withthem playing.It went so well me and my friend DEd Dan got our bartab to unlimited that night. I lived at the border at The River into the ocean. RIVER jetties surf spot. ACCROSS PCH FROMMYplacee onthe wetlanndarea Dennythe singer uswd to live. I woulssee and chat a little ocasionallygoingoutto surf.I still like tolisten to Atomic Boy. I need to get some new CD's My demoI think is gettingbad. Atomic Boy A great band I am stoked to hhave play a Club I booked and promoted a long time ago. I still like to listen to ATOMIC boy and Denny was a cool good man and a NB Local near me back then.
