    Regarding Royce Lewis, if you believe you never slump, you probably believe you never have to change your preparation process.

    Two guys who played 80 games this season getting into a media spat. That is funny. At least one of them has a resume, I'm not sure I'd call Lewis a star yet either. There is legitimate question right now if he even has what it takes to be an everyday player.

    Phil/Judd/Declan - If you can find it (I can't) please revisit the Twins Show from the end of the 2022 season. I think Danny Cunningham was in the mix. You guys savaged the team for their collapse. It sounds very similar to what's being said this year. And AGAIN, no major firings. I don't see how things will be any different if they keep this group together.

    When are you guys going to do a deep dive into the Minnesota Lynx? Clearly they have a winning formula and is the only team that has had any semblance of a dynasty in this town for all of time. Maybe there are things that can be gleaned from how they do things that the Twins can learn from.

    The Twins collapsed in 2022 after July 5 when their record was 47 - 37; they still remained in 1st place in the AL Central division until Aug, 10, 2022. Falvey and Rocco should have tried to learn what changes they needed to make so that a collapse wouldn't happen again. In 2024 it looks like Rocco/Falvey learned very little about their 2022 collapse because their 2024 collapse was even worse; it started after Aug. 17 when their record was 70 - 53. Rocco said recently that none of what he tried worked to end the team collapse. Evidently Rocco/Falvey still don't know how to avoid team collapses. If Joe Pohlad makes no changes to the Twins management, people will stop buying game tickets, team revenue will decrease and his Twins business profit will decrease. Only then will Joe discover that changes are needed to be make his Twins business more profitable.

    My (albeit small) business decisions are: putting the Twins gear away, no $ spent in Twins Clubhouse Store (usually a go-to spot for Christmas gifts for the family), and not going out of my way next year to go to a game. I have a business to run by not wasting money on what historically has been my favorite team to follow and spending my hard earned money elsewhere for my family. How’s that for business? Sell the team.

    It’s hard to even hear this discussion about the players and organization. They all approached this season and handled it with a TRUE lack of accountability and will to win. The players not preparing is a joke. Being called out by Correa is good. Yes he was out, but he also had an injury when he was playing very well. Guys should not even be speaking on not preparing when you have entire offseasons, spring training, and pre/post game time to get better. You have top coaches and trainers that people would be lucky to have. I don’t want to hear it. This whole team is a joke. This “business” had a chance to capitalize and become like the padres in terms of fan attendance and players coming in. We clearly don’t want it badly enough from the higher ups all the way down to the players. People keep pointing fingers when they should just say they sucked, we are sorry, and move on.
    In terms of this offseason, what changes are they going to make? What big contracts are they REALLY willing to trade? Anyone we get will have to be low buys or have no real contracts. I might just be a padres fan at this point 🤷🏻‍♂️

  • @kellyoman2196
    @kellyoman2196 3 месяца назад +7

    People can say what they want. Correa is a winner and a leader. He played all last year hurt. What did the organization do to make him wanna play thru an injury again. No real moves at trade deadline? Cut payroll? Fans can't watch on TV? All bad moves, what does that say to the players? I side with correa, he is very experienced at winning and is a great playoff hitter. He knows what it takes. The way he is wired i can see how the younger players not being serious could bother him.

    Way to much on the part of the Polads to admit they are horrible owners until they spend money get pitching and a number of other projects we might as well get used to this. • @williamyoungs5541
    @williamyoungs5541 3 месяца назад +1

    If you excuse any level of this terrible team, you are part of the problem. The Pohlads are ridiculously stupid and incompetent owners. Derek Falvey and Thad Lavine are an awful front office. They identify talent, but run the organization into the ground. Ballydummy is a terrible manager. He makes awful decisions while stroking player egos. The coaching staff made a top 10 talent team into a mess. The training staff continues to make the Twins the mist injured team for the last 4 years. There biggest and most expensive star is a whiny cheater. If you spend a dollar on this team, you are a chump.

    Correa only has "hard work" as a tool to try to improve the team. Same as Rocco. So what happens when everyone has given 100% and it still getting screamed at to work harder because all the big money players are on the IL yet AGAIN and it's not working? Stop trying so hard to not get hurt so they can get the hell out of this organization seems reasonable to me. This is an ownership issue.
