  • Tavish Hansen and I linked up on November 8th for our first climb together and managed to get Zodiac done in under 10 hours (under 12 hours car to car). Tavish was the free gun and french freed pitches 1-6 and 13-15 while I took the harder aid pitches.

    It's crazy to me how you managed to climb so many pitches so fast, while hauling, aid climbing, shitting, etc. Good job!

      Petzl adjustable daisy system. Attaches to your harness and aider steps to pull yourself up tight as you climb up the steps. Saves a ton of energy and also keeps you from dropping your aid ladders.

    How do u get all the hooks and shit back? Is the guy in the back picking it up?

    • @leostrei
      @leostrei 2 года назад +2

      Yep, first person "leads" second person "follows". Leader gets up the wall, which is generally more difficult as you are placing gear and taking greater risks. Follower climbs up behind them and gets all the gear back, joins them at the new high point, rinse, repeat
