We were not ready for how deep this film went! Paresh Rawal was amazing as usual with every emotional readable from his expressions. Akshay Kumar's entrance was so much fun and he brings his classic comedic timing with this one!

Let me give u a more context behind those festivals, krishna is a human incarnation of vishnu who is one of the three most important gods in Hinduism
Krishna is perfect in every character, as a child he's very naughty to his mother & villagers, as a friend he's the best companion, as a lover he's the best lover, towards evil he's the worst
So u can worship krishna in the way u like, as a master, as a lover or as a friend, hence many more dimensions r added in devotion
During his childhood & teenage years he did many things in his village, which we replicate in the form of festival or drama
Dahi handi shown in the movie is when krishna tried to steal neighbors butter
Holi is also one of the festivals which krishna used to do

krishna is in no way “the perfect man”. that goes to ram being called maryada purushottam in a time where there is distinction between good and evil.
if anything if you have read the mahabharata, you would know that krishna is supposed to be a shrewd politician in a time where morality is subjective. he uses the people’s mindsets against them very well and it is the whole point of krishna avatar that humans are always flawed.
please read up on this because it’s quite deeper than you might think my brother.

Just another info we have a remake of bruce almighty starring Amitabh Bachchan and Salman Khan called "God Tussi Great Ho" and OMG is based on a gujarati play Kanji Virudh Kanji(kanji against/vs Kanji )

@@ChaatNChat same, its a cult classic in india. didnt do so well in theatres cause it lacked big stars and some other 'masala' filmed launched along with OMG. but it did insanely well on broadcast/media platforms later :))

You are absolutely right... The 2nd part was not that good.... I mean the concept and topics were good but they were not able to portray it properly ..... Akshay Kumar's character felt forced at times where every time he appears to give advice... Part 2 is nothing compared to this one

Its very shameful when Amir khan makes movie like PK then lots of people raises their voice against the scenes in pk movie that hurted the religious sentiments of people even me too didn’t like those scenes but movies like this OMG gets praised by the same audience 🙁
PK was more of a subtle islamic propaganda about trying to belittle idol worship and prove it downright wrong. They even tried to glorify pakistan and normalize the inter-religious relationship with muslims. We all know how that usually ends in suitcase or fridge. As far as this movie is concerned, yes this too had problematic elements.

10:17 okay so there was a scene which wasnt in the clips but i wanna point out the great detail. when mohammad bhai asked kanji to look after his shop, kanji said "instead of going to hajj, fix your shop, its so fragile that if 2 people will cough inside and it will collapse" and as he said that dialogue, someone carried a mirror in between, reflecting kanji's shop in it
