Looking back, if I would have known what I was getting into I probably would have skipped this trail. I still had Moab and a 750 mile drive home to do.... if I would have broken down on this trail, it would have put a damper on my trip.
Mr. Recon, I was seating at the edge of my seat for the whole video, I’m so happy that y’all made it with no damages to y’all Rubicon. Can’t wait to see y’all next adventure, thank you for sharing Ciao y’all
👋👋 Like how they said your Jeep belongs at the mall...lol That's one interesting trail forsure, and would be a fun one to tackle. Thanks again Brad for sharing another great video 👍
Greg’s Frankenbrute was awesome, but that was above and beyond helping the rest get through, after using his own discretion. Gotta love Jeepsies! As always, great vid!
some content over the years i must say your jeep is looking the best it ever has you have tested and gone thru some equipment and u finally got a solid jeep with everything u need on the trail... keep up with the awesome content.. ur inspiring me to get a gopro go out with my quad and get some mud on them tires and get some good footage in the action...
You certainly earned your stripes on that trail. Those were some formidable obstacles! And yea, a trail that difficult requires a good spotter to get you through. They can see a better line from their angle, than we can from the drivers seat. Nicely done!
I am glad that you pre-ran the trail for me - because my JK will never be set up enough for Die Tryin. Hopefully Jeep has a badge for that trail. Glad to see that you came out of it with no body damage.
Hell, I dont have my Jeep (yet😉) and I'm still pucked five minutes after watching this vid🤯...incredible grit on your part and trust of your spotters to get your overlanding rig through that with no body damage!!!...BRAVO, Brad!!!...hope to run into you again at OEW 2019 next month👍🇺🇸
Fantastic video - the physical video quality is outstanding, and as others have said, your editing and narrative just keeps getting better. Keep it up Master Chief!
Wow you just did one of the BEST co has!!! I been to this trail a lot growing up here in Montrose CO and now liveing in Grand Junction CO but I only had a stock 73 Ford Bronco so I never even tryed it!!! I know few who has and what fun it is!!! Love it!!! Hope you come back to do again!!
Oh man! We drove right by that last weekend-on the way from Pueblo West to Moab. And it’s half the distance. Oh yeah. Going there the next family off-road adventure.
My stock Jeep would never make that. As you said 40's worked great on a two door. I couldn't do that trail because I couldn't afford to make all the repairs that would be needed afterwards. Enjoy watching your videos they make me want to get on some trails. (the easy ones with no body damage--no rock rails on my Jeep and no lift yet-- just a stock Rubicon JK)
Wow Brad...That last one was sketchy!!! Nice job getting through. Good thing you had upgraded your suspension and new tires before this trip. Your JK is knocking it out of the park!!!
My palms were sweaty just watching this video. Great work getting through it "overlander style" with that rooftop tent! 😉 I've got a whole lot of work to do to mine before even thinking about something like this. Awesome video!
Great video! Looks very intense. You and Adam handled it great. Good spotters are always very much appreciated. Life savers. I just watched some more clips of this trail on KC Lites RUclips page also. Keep up the good work. Sorry I missed you guys in Moab. Next time!
Your Jeep is coming together nicely. It’s cool to see how you change and improve everything. Keep up the good work! Hope to see you on the trail one day!
Great stuff Brad. I am living a little bi-curious throught you and your adventures. One because I do not have a Jeep or something capable off road . And two because I am paralyzed and in a wheelchair. Thank you for taking us along!
Great video, very entertaining and informative. That featured Bronco is amazing. I love Jeeps all day, every day but the 1st gen Bronco is my all-time favorite. Love the channel!
Wow...epic driving man. You did really really well...I had a few oh no moments watching it, but you did great. Yes you had a good spotter, but the driver still was awesome.
Hello, Awesome video ya’ bunch a Jeep snobs! Just messin’ with ya! I really have enjoyed watching your quality videos this past year. You seem like a nice guy who truly loves to share the adventure. Happy trails to ya!
Holy Crap! What a hard trail! Brad you did awesome. Why this is not a "Jeep Badge of Honor Trail" is beyond me. If I had the power I would personally honor you with the "Die Trying Badge of Honor"! At mark 13:07 it looks like some fluid leaked on the rock. It looks like blood! Seems fitting for this trail.....Thank you for another truly awesome video!
Going through that trail in a JKU Overlander? Very impressive, really enjoyed watching as always, thanks for continuing to share your work (fun) with us!
Another great video Brad, You & Your JK did an awesome job , took a good beating for sure. That’s far from a trail !!!!! More like a buggy course Great job to all You guys. 👍
i see too many overbuilt jeeps in pristine condition -- had made me pretty cynical. so glad to see one of them not 'parked in a mall' ;) your channel has completely changed my car plans. been a sports car guy for years -- still going to get my dream 911, but will be getting an off-roader soon. and driving from the east coast to do some of these trails. might be a few years from now...
Awesome trail & video making (as always). As a German I hope I can do this trail with my own vehicle (not a Jeep) in some years from now when being able to travel the US for a longer period of time.
jeep’s getting better and better and so is your content
Thank you! It's crazy how things have changed over the years.
Chase Whitworth agree 💯
That is some hard core rock climbing. Awesome scenery too. Thanks for sharing.
Looking back, if I would have known what I was getting into I probably would have skipped this trail. I still had Moab and a 750 mile drive home to do.... if I would have broken down on this trail, it would have put a damper on my trip.

Can’t wait to see y’all next adventure, thank you for sharing
Ciao y’all
That was epic. Makes me realise my 4wd is 2wd without the lockers.
That was no joke😳. Great job getting through and filming it all for us👍
No joke! This trail is not for the faint of heart. Thank you!
Wow, kudos to you and the whole team for getting through such a crazy trail!! Thanks for sharing Brad, that was awesome!!
👋👋 Like how they said your Jeep belongs at the mall...lol
That's one interesting trail forsure, and would be a fun one to tackle.
Thanks again Brad for sharing another great video 👍
LOL! A little trash talk on the trail is good times!
Kudos to the spotters! You guys are great. This makes the difference from a shitty day with bad spotters to a great day challenging your Jeep! 👍
If that is a 9 out of 10, I would hate to see what a 10/10 looks like, great job on both the trail and the video!
Probably the best rock crawling video I’ve seen.
That trail has a giant NOPE written all over it! Massive kudos to you for making it through!
So jealous!! Awesome adventure brother!
It was a great adventure, but I'm looking forward to some easy trails and camp cooking now!
@@TrailRecon Congrats on all the upgrades and conquering that trail. When I watch videos like this I know I will never be into trails like this.
@@TrailRecon Yes! long overdue!
Greg’s Frankenbrute was awesome, but that was above and beyond helping the rest get through, after using his own discretion. Gotta love Jeepsies! As always, great vid!

Really appreciate it! It's been an evolution over the years for sure.
You certainly earned your stripes on that trail. Those were some formidable obstacles!
And yea, a trail that difficult requires a good spotter to get you through. They can see a better line from their angle, than we can from the drivers seat. Nicely done!
Thankfully my Jeep doors didn't earn any new stripes, or dents! It was a blast and would have been tough without a set of eyes leading the way.
I am glad that you pre-ran the trail for me - because my JK will never be set up enough for Die Tryin. Hopefully Jeep has a badge for that trail. Glad to see that you came out of it with no body damage.
No Jeep badge of honor for this trail, but it sure does rate one!
I am extremely impressed with your build and how even with the roof top tent you don't shy away from some technical an harder trails!
Damn Brad! That was GNARLEY!!! Great vid and INSANE wheeling!!! Thanks for this!!! Cheers!!!
Wow, awesome! Now I totally get the tire change! That was just sick!
Wow!!! I was puckering just watching this! Looks like lots of fun!
LOL! I was puckering editing the video... this trail was nuts!
Great video. 4dr not just for the Mall. Way to represent Brad.
Brutal, this is when all them bolt on upgrades come into play. I enjoyed watching, thanks.
All my upgrades got a workout on this trail. Thanks!
Fantastic video - the physical video quality is outstanding, and as others have said, your editing and narrative just keeps getting better. Keep it up Master Chief!
Thank you! It's always great to hear!
That trail is a bit above my JK's paygrade. Nice job, Brad!
Ah I remember my first time using the rock sliders. Good times. I’m impressed that you got that heavy rig through there
Brad you have balls the size of the rocks you conquered!!!! Awesome vid again, I was wincing watching this one. 🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽🤙🏽
This was good watching you out on a tough trail, do more of this.
That was awesome! Getting an overland set up JKU through that without damage is very impressive. Great driving and spotting.
THAT IS SOME VERY AWESOME TRAIL THATS ONE AWESOME JEEP YOU HAVE
Oh man! We drove right by that last weekend-on the way from Pueblo West to Moab. And it’s half the distance. Oh yeah. Going there the next family off-road adventure.
That looked like a fun and challenging trail for sure . Glad you make thru unscathed . Take care my friend .
Colorado is one of the most beautiful places to off road... and live... I do miss it a bit... Livin' in FL now...
off roading is way different...
But you can beach and dune wheel anytime you like now. 😎🏖
Wow Brad...That last one was sketchy!!! Nice job getting through. Good thing you had upgraded your suspension and new tires before this trip. Your JK is knocking it out of the park!!!
Very sketchy, just thankful I made it out and was able to drive to Moab. Very happy wit the new Icon suspension and tire setup.
AHAHAHAH I love when they said: "JK's they look great parked in the mall" 11:18 great content, just subscribed!
Awesome Brad ..... Overland’r Throwing Down! 😃
I enjoy overlanding for sure, but you've got to put your vehicle to the test every once and a while!
My palms were sweaty just watching this video. Great work getting through it "overlander style" with that rooftop tent! 😉 I've got a whole lot of work to do to mine before even thinking about something like this. Awesome video!
I love seeing you conquer the harder stuff! Great video as always. Thank you.
Don't comment much but that was epic Brad. Thanks for sharing. No mall crawler!
Thank you, glad you enjoyed it and I always appreciate the comments!
Great driving Brad and many thanks to sharing another awesome video.😍
wow! all I can say is WOW! Good on you for doing that trail. Not my kind of wheeling but you keep posting 'em, I'll keep watching 'em!
Very cool to see an overland build on some hardcore trails!!! Keep em coming brad!
Great video! Looks very intense. You and Adam handled it great. Good spotters are always very much appreciated. Life savers. I just watched some more clips of this trail on KC Lites RUclips page also. Keep up the good work. Sorry I missed you guys in Moab. Next time!
early broncos are great, wow what a trail. great driving.
I love the early Broncos!
Your Jeep is coming together nicely. It’s cool to see how you change and improve everything. Keep up the good work! Hope to see you on the trail one day!
Thank you! It's been a fun build process... still a few things on my list though.
Wow... Those Jeeps took a beating! AWESOME!
Some more than others... having 40's makes a big difference.
Great stuff Brad. I am living a little bi-curious throught you and your adventures. One because I do not have a Jeep or something capable off road . And two because I am paralyzed and in a wheelchair. Thank you for taking us along!
So glad you are enjoying the videos, thank you!
Great video, very entertaining and informative. That featured Bronco is amazing. I love Jeeps all day, every day but the 1st gen Bronco is my all-time favorite. Love the channel!
Hey Brad. That was an absolutely, impressive, fantastical run; with a four door yet! Great Video!!
Wow that trail was nuts Brad! Great job driving and awesome video.
Omg.....amazed that you all got thru that...I would of thought no way...
Amazing driving man! Good job. Trail recon jk did freaking awesome!
Wow...epic driving man. You did really really well...I had a few oh no moments watching it, but you did great. Yes you had a good spotter, but the driver still was awesome.
I think we only said "uh oh" on the trail couple times.... but never anything serious!
😮 pucker factor indeed! Especially if it’s your daily driver!!
Big pucker! I had a drive to Moab and then back to San Diego after this.... so glad I made it out in one piece.
That's like a "Lite Brite" crazy trail. LOL Good job Brad!
Kevin and Brittney would feel right at home on this trail!
Yep need round two with LITE BRITE
Looks like a killer trail, but badass nonetheless. Great angles and footage. As always, super awesome video Brad!
I'm sure this trail has taken out many a Jeep! Glad you enjoyed following along, thank you!

It really should be on the Badge of Honor trail list. Thank you!
Great job on the trail for sure, but that's also the kind of trail that gets the brain thinking "man, I've got to get some upgrades."
I’m more of a Jeep guy, but that bronco was truly awesome!
Great job getting through the trail. All the credit to you! Was nerve-racking just watching! 👍🏼
Thanks, but my spotter and a few friends helping stack rocks really get most of the credit.
Great video brad! Would love a walk around on that bronco!!
That Bronco was kick ass, definitely would like a walk around on that son of a gun.
Another extreme, sweet adventure‼️💪 Thx.
Thanks! I'm looking for something a little more mild next time.
Great video every time!
Brad, another spectacular adventure... I would like to wish you and your family. And your off road family a Happy Thanksgiving!!!!
This is extreme! Awesome adventure and the rig is looking great. We will be in CA in no time. Hope to see you at Overland Expo West this year.
Great job getting the SILVER BEAUTY through and up that!
Amazing place. Looks fun n challenging . your so lucky .
Going through that trail in a JKU Overlander? Very impressive, really enjoyed watching as always, thanks for continuing to share your work (fun) with us!
Not just an overlander... Rocklander! Thank you!
So True
Your rig is much more than an Overlander
THAT WAS SOME CRAZY S**T!! Thanks for taking us along!!
That was intense. I was on the edge of my seat Brad. The rig is certainly killing it out there.
I was on the edge of my seat the whole trail! Thank you!
As always!! Great video and awesome trip/fun.
Fantastic video! great way to represent the Veterans!!
Great video as usual. I travel to grand junction and montrose once a month. Gonna have to take the Jeep on one of them and check this place out.
There were several trails in the area that I'd love to go explore... except for the level 10 trail, I'll have to pass on that one.
WOW! That was intense. Great job getting the JKUR through and such a good filming job with all the rigs.
Thanks! It was nice to have a little help with the camera while driving!
AWESOME! ENJOYED! BE SAFE! BEAUTIFUL COUNTRY!
Again, LOVE your videos! Appreciate that a Bronco got you guys through. (I own a 75 Bronco)
Your videos are fantastic. Thank you for all the work you do to share your experiences!
Thank you!
Another great video Brad, You & Your JK did an awesome job , took a good beating for sure. That’s far from a trail !!!!! More like a buggy course Great job to all You guys. 👍
A buggy is better suited for a trail like this for sure! Thank you!
Nice! That trail looks awesome!
Oh those poor Jeeps. The torture of that trail! Thats insane
Wow. That was a great trail. I'm thinking that was extreme with having extra weight on top. Super great driving! Great video.
Awesome, Looks fun...Love the new tent by the way...Pricey but nice.....
I can't wait to do some more camping with the RTT. Compared to other hardshell tents, it's very reasonable.
TrailRecon Yes you are right about that. There is more spendy ones out there. I should of said that too. Lol.
that was pretty extreme, Brad! Your Jeep handled that pretty good! Great driving!
Very nice. Good job driving. Really nice looking trail.
Man, that was a pucker trail!
Great job Brad.
Wish I lived near good trails. I have to drive 2.5 hours just to go beach and dune wheelin. Great video!
That was cool seeing Golden Spike in action; nice LJ!
Wow 😮 that was cool ... looks like a blast...
Man that trail looks so much fun!!
Tons of fun!
@trailrecon I'm pretty sure I saw Marco on chicken corners and harrah pass with 2 or 3 other jeeps the Sunday before Easter.
Wow that was intense! Great job getting through that Brad 🙌
Great video. Makes me want to move out west.
Well- The JK can make that trail AND carry a family of 5 on the highway at 75 MPH...on the way to the mall! 🎤⬇️
i see too many overbuilt jeeps in pristine condition -- had made me pretty cynical. so glad to see one of them not 'parked in a mall' ;)
your channel has completely changed my car plans. been a sports car guy for years -- still going to get my dream 911, but will be getting an off-roader soon. and driving from the east coast to do some of these trails. might be a few years from now...

Who in their right mind does this with a roof top tent on? Brad that's who.. Great video man.. Keep them coming
Awesome video as always!
wow...way to go. That was very impressive and cool to watch. Video footage was awesome.
