Do you save money on feed having pigs on pasture? If sheep are on grass then feed costs can almost be eliminated but is there any way of knowing cost savings doing this with pigs?
It's hard to quantify. I think pasture is part of a healthy diet for pigs much like veggies for people but isn't going to grow them out great. They certainly eat a lot of forage.
Sage advice. Milk stealing is real and can be devastating. Hard lesson learned in the past.
That is great! I've had a problem with the older piglets not just stealing milk, but cutting up the little ones faces, too.
