    Y'all need to remember that everyone's skin is different, so what works for her might not work for you and vice-versa. The key is to find what works for your skin and don't go buying every product that is recommended to you only 4 u to be disappointed:)
    Edit: so much likes!
    Anyway i thought I'd give an update on my acne. I'm still using Cerave SA smoothing cream/cleanser and it has improved my cystic acne and tiny bumps. I was put on Contraception because i have severe cramps(as if acne wasn't enough pain) and it has completely gotten rid of my acne. I visited a dermatologist and doctor that both stated i have hormonal imbalances so the Contraception would be good for my acne and cramps, but the thing is the first brand of contraception made everything worse for my acne. I stopped and started taking another brand (estrelen) which worked. My skin was and still is smooth but I've been a couple days without the pills and my skin is already acting up. MY message is keep trying even if u think it's impossible, the pills might not work for u but something else is out there that is meant to help u and ur journey with ur skin:)

      The original formula got discontinued because of faulty testing during development and manufacturing. The actual SPF value was something around 15, which is why people were being burned even with it on. As far as I'm aware, they are currently formulated a physical sunscreen and putting it through rigorous testing here in the US, which has ridiculously stringent guidelines so we can at least trust the SPF value this time.

    Remember Asian Don’t Rasin
    My moma is Laotian and drinks a gallon of water everyday, been using Olay Regenerist Face lotion with SPF for 40+ years. She looks the same as she was when she was 18 (she is in her 50s btw). Buying expensive products are nice but not necessary, water intake is top priority. He sisters use fancy products but don’t drink as much water, they look their age. Nothing wrong with looking your age, but if you are looking to hold onto your youth, drinking a gallon of water everyday is paramount. And good genetics are a bonus too.

    • @Lena-mt3ck
      @Lena-mt3ck Год назад +26

      It depends on a person. My mum has a normal skin, not much redness, hasn't seen a pimple since she was a teenager, not oily but not dry. Me on the other hand - oily skin prone to redness. We used to use the same product. I was a teen and I thought I'll have the same effect she does. She doesn't drink much water, juices or anything and gets headaches because of it and I keep track of how much I have to drink. It still doesn't help. Maybe it would have helped if my skin was dehydrated but it isn't. It's mostly genes and what our genes don't give us we have to learn how to achieve ouselves.

      Makes more sense to count all liquids into that gallon, soups, your milk beverage in the morning, your smoothie, the water content of your steamed vegetables.. And just 2 to 3 cups of actual h2o is perfectly enough to supplement that for most people, they will probably crave it too.. If you have to pee all of the time that usually suggest that you're just being silly with the water consumption. But in some hot climates it does helps cool you down, but in thise cases too you wouldn't need to be told twice, you'd crave it.
      The SPF though, that's doing the heavy lifting.

      @Grayyy__ Год назад +1

      @@lilyanne8522 Actually more times than not people that I have spoken to about it or left comments under their posts who use their products have had no idea it’s not cruelty free because the co. say they don’t use animal products. It’s not my responsibility to hold the Chinese market accountable when I am not a citizen of that country; in my country it is illegal to test on animals. People follow trends like this video. Someone recommends it knowing or not knowing the ethics of the product and others watching are not leaving w/ the info of the ethics behind it. Then they try it because they are being influenced to buy it & it works well for this and that & they are happy w/ the outcome w/out ever knowing the ethics as the influencer leaves out the fact that it’s tested on animals so they become a fan of the product without knowing. If you have an audience it’s your responsibility to share the ethics of a product before you recommend it to ppl. Maybe you would feel differently if you actually were the owner of the dogs they do the most testing on which I am. Beagles are tortured, tattooed, kept in atrocious conditions and harmed everyday in the sake of you being able to use a beauty product and if they know this already and continue to use it they are a disgusting excuse of a human being; I’m going to assume that’s YOU by your comment. I will advocate in any way that I see fit , I don’t need your “not hold consumers accountable” rhetoric if you use these brands you’re just as accountable & guilty stop trying to pass the buck to make yourself feel better, you are part of the problem. I’m doing what I can by informing ppl that use it about the ethics of it so that those that were never properly informed by the influencers get a chance to decide to stop buying it & out of the 1000s of ppl I’ve informed only you have ever answered so ridiculously.

      it’s a hydrating toner, so i would use a moisturizer with it as well just to lock in moisture retention. i’m not sure if it claims to be a complete moisturizer, but it’s not. it is hydrating, but doesn’t contain all of the components that make up a complete moisturizer. so yeah, i would recommend using a moisturizer as well :)

    • @lovrboi
      @lovrboi Год назад +4

      okay sorry i just re-read your comment and realized you said something different. you can use a different toner as well! if you like using a separate toner that has different benefits or actives like salicylic acid (for example), then you could use that too. i personally would use the other toner first and the laneige after because it’s hydrating and i feel like it layers better that way (also that’s assuming that the other toner you’d use isn’t a hydrating one. if it is, there’s no need to use both). basically, toners aren’t always astringent based. i wouldn’t recommend using any astringent-type toners at all. “toner” is a broad term and refers to a lot of different things. i’d say the general definition is a watery base for your skincare, but different toners have different benefits. some have actives, some are hydrating, some are astringents, etc. so yes, it is a toner, just a hydrating one and it’s up to you if you’d want to use a second one as well

    the Laneige Cream Skin (toner & moisturizer) is a life-saver for me too 😭😭 I had awful flaking because of dehydration and scars because of side effect from doctor's cream (it was too harsh on my skin), many toners couldn't fix them in the long run because I have sensitive skin but this product really solved everything in just 2 weeks I cried 😭😭😭😭 it didn't cause me any breakout and irriation either while I was using it for months after

    • @dywfam
      @dywfam 2 года назад +5

      @@mariahsabar3969 honestly imo you can adjust it to your skin condition! I had awful skin flaking and my body temperature is normally in the hotter side that my face dehydrated easily from the inside too, so I needed to cool down my face and fixed my skin barrier; I used Etude House SoonJung Collection's 10-free Moist Emulsion (a lightweight moisturizer) or 2x Barrier Intensive Cream (heavier) based on my condition each day on top of the Laneige Cream Skin.
      But once my skin got better and the products started to feel too heavy together I stopped wearing more moisturizer after! Instead I used Benton's Aloe BHA toner before the Laneige Cream Skin, then eventually my skin was so healthy that I only needed to wear the Laneige Cream Skin or else I'd get breakout (if I added anything else along with it).
      Just pay attention to how your skin feels about it then you can go from there, whether you need to wear more moisturizer after it or not! I may add taking considerations to the absorbant levels of each products you're going to use together is important too

But this toner allows me to bring that down to one toner and still get the hydration I want. For day time use, I literally just cleanse, tone with the cream skin toner (I’ll usually apply two layers) and then put on my sunscreen, and it will feel fine without my skin feeling dehydrated. It has a really nice watery consistency, and when you apply it to the skin it sinks in but leaves behind a film of moisture that is nothing like I’ve ever used. And trust me, I’ve tried PLENTY of toners (15+). Truthfully, I think this would make a difference in your skincare line up for anyone who wants a more minimal skincare routine or loves that added hydration! Even for those of us who have tried all the toners under the sun, it’s still one that is so different than those on the market at the moment that in my opinion it is 100% worth the $33.

    Hi unnie, it's great to see all the useful products what you're using! I also wanna recommend a product from ''Dalba'. The "White Truffle First Spray Serum". It's quite similar but has a slight difference with the Sioris Time is running out spray serum.

    Paula's Choice Skin Recovery Enriched Calming Toner is better than the cream skin imo, same milky amazing feeling on the skin but better ingredients (to me anyways). Also cheaper where I’m from, especially during their sales.

    I'd definitely believe you, as your skin is flawless! Lol
    I just started to pay more attention to my skin in my early thirties, and I wish I started sooner tbh 😐 I had a pizza face in highschool, and then in my early twenties to late; had flawless skin lol idk what happened, but when I first started working my first job, my skin cleared up and it looked flawless. And! I didn't even do anything special. So much so, I didn't even wash it with 'soap' regularly, which I know sounds sus, I just washed it off with water and sometimes a regular bar soap or body wash... 🤷 just when I showered normally.
    A dermatologist told me that my severe acne in highschool was hormonal and that I'd get over it, but after the most impressionable time of my life 💔😂 long story short; I have 'normal' skin now. Sometimes have blemishes etc. Combo skin.
    I just started to put more intent into to a routine, and started to get into serums and different brands. I figured since it's not that hard and I weirdly have more time now to do other things, just due to life changes, so I started getting serums, cleanser, etc. I actually saw a lot of brands that I also use in your cupboard that I also like! 🫣😂❤️

    Hi, can you please make a video of the snail mucin cream that you have in your shelf. Is it worth the hype?

    • @DyVv3221
      @DyVv3221 2 года назад

      Hi Ritika,
      Yes it's worth the money & hype. I own & use snail mucin & laniege products on a daily. It makes my skin smooth, moisturize/hydrated and clear looking (a little goes a long way). It's gentle and friendly on sensitive skin (per my experience).
