This show is more of a family drama than a horror story. It does have some good scares, but is also deep and very emotional. I really hope you stay till the end. It is worth it.

This is one of my favorite shows ever and not only does it have scares and chills; it has great drama, heart, and amazingly written characters and dialogue. Not to mention it is masterfully directed. This show is sooo much more than a horror story you should totally watch the whole thing, it is a masterpiece.
I think once you become more invested in the lives of these beautiful and broken characters, the scares become more manageable and tolerable. Because you wanna stick with the characters and know what happens to them next.
