Consider that Jenny and Screech were born side by side, and essentially died side by side, one street apart. Born on the same day (2005), died on the same day (2019). An entire family, mother and twins that never knew each other, wiped out by a cycle of violence. An abused mother, a 14 year old prostitute, and a 14 year old thug/murderer. Powerful stuff. Not sure if you caught it or not, but he did all 3 songs in a single take each, just like "Hi Ren". In "Violet's Tale", the way he uses the acoustics of his environment to accentuate the song is absolute brilliance. Did you catch the rewinding of time with his guitar? The man is truly special.

He said that there are 2 songs so far that he wrote, that he knew in his gut were special. "Hi Ren" (of course) and "Violet's Tale". He also said he feels like he has a 3rd one that fits that same feeling coming out with his new album. He has yet to release it or shoot the video, but It's coming soon.
I think it was about a year later for Violet, which I think shows how much he's improving because as brilliant as the first two are the third is better in every way.

I've probably watched over 50 reactions and I've seen 2 guess it when he said she was pregnant. Unfortunately I've watched a ton of reactions to his songs so I can't remember who they were.

His eyes get more emotion and serious than I think he has ever shown. When ren drops the pregnant reveal. He slowly grabs his headphones. Then ren says a poor girl jenny. He closes his mouth.... a boy named screech. He almost angrily but seriously puts his headphone down and walks out of the room. And hasn't posted a video since. It's been about a month and a half

I like your observation. There are also so many small things that are interesting. He starts the song in Violet's hospital bed but then moves back to the street as he tells Violet's story, so he's physically starting where Violet died and moving toward the beginning for Violet but the story lyrically is going from the streets to her death bed in hospital. Meanwhile, the newly born twins are near Violet's death bed and as he is physically moving away from the birth of the twins, he's also moving to the street where the twins lives ended. Brilliant.
