No it does not only the Black rubber hose comes with it. I used that silver one to get the hose to the ground where I can connect it to my outside hose.
The original PRO was not worth it in my opinion. It didn’t perform anywhere near the price. Maybe they fixed the issues because in that price range there are some exceptional machines.
@@Godfather44055 Really depends on what you are looking for and how much work you want to do. If doing things around the house this might be what you need. I myself would build my own setup with a separate reel and hose with an active 2.0. I could have a full professional setup for $700. That would be for washing cars only though.
I think it could be used for mobile detailing, but one thing I don't know is if it self primes and if gravity feed was enough. I can't comment on how well it would hold up to constant running all day though.
Quick question: can you use it as a regular garden hose (ie, without the motor turned on) or does it require the motor being on to get any flow? Would be nice to be able to fill a bucket or water plants or whatever without pressure. Also, I love how you did your hair to match the rolled-up hose on the reel. That's some serious commitment! 😂 J/k, bro. Great video. I'm gonna get the Plus+ thanks to this! Beautiful F30 btw 👍
Yes, you can run without the pressure washer on and I myself do that to fill buckets or foam cannons. It will not be as much flow as a garden hose, but it does the job and lets you have just one hose for everything. Everything has to match. LOL
Hi. Thank you for this thorough review. I actually ordered your exact setup because of this video. I ordered the grandfalls pro pressure washer, the foam canon and spray gun. I have a question for you. Can you provide the measurement of the grandfalls pro unit. I am not able to make out the width, depth and height. Width: (left to right), Height and depth (front to back).
Thank you. That is all I needed to know. I built a backing board for my setup so I wanted to make sure the measurements of the unit will allow for it to fit along with other items I am mounting on the backing board
Im building a house. I'd like to have power and water at the point in garage I mount the Pressure washer at. Should I just get a spigot in the garage near mounting location or something else like a washing machine hook up?
Kaev, I'm so confused about these quick connects. Trying to add them wherever possible before first use. One guy on RUclips said that gun hose connection he's using M15 quick connect. I went to his description to check what it is it actually was M22 15mm, I think that's what he ment. But you're using M22 14mm, both to ¼ and ⅜. Can I use either or? Dudes are watching chicks, cars, party all night long and I'm just trying to learn about fittings for past few days 🙈
The giraffe tools hose at least on the three units I have gotten are 14mm and I always use 3/8 connection plug. You can’t use a 15mm on a 14mm connection or it will leak. The opposite a 14mm will not fit or thread onto a 15mm connection. Maybe that guy replaced the hose? Even then most all aftermarket hoses are 14mm and using adapters to convert to 15mm. Best thing about 14mm is if in a pinch you can get those at Home Depot. This for example www.homedepot.com/p/Powercare-3-8-in-Female-Quick-Connect-x-Male-M22-Connector-for-Pressure-Washer-AP31041B/100664033
@Cars With Keav great! So do you try to stick with 14mm ⅜ on your all devices? Or lats put it this way, is 14mm ⅜ a standard on all let's say high end equipment?
@@paul9387 14mm isn’t really a standard just the most popular at the big box stores. There are a few companies that use 15mm such as Active, AR Blue, Stanley and Sun Joe. I doesn’t matter to me I keep enough fittings and adapters of both sizes around. Active actually ships an adapter to go from 15 to 14 to help consumers out. On my setup the Greenworks is 14 and my Active is 15.
Motor mostly which in my testing does less flow, but is less noise overall. Except that fireworks sound at the end. The only other difference is the PRO has a more robust and higher quality spring in the reel assembly. It lasts more than 2x the Plus+ version. They had to upgrade that to match the length of time the motor is good for. if I had to buy myself I would get the Plus+
I bought a portable pressure washer but thinking about taking it back to buy this. Would u recomend this? Do I need an air compressor to make it work or just hook the water hose to it? Will this replace a pressure washer?
This is an all in one unit. All you need to do is supply power and water. I personally don’t recommend the pro model as it’s too expensive, but their plus+ model has the good hose and does a good job. Plus it’s half the price almost of the pro. Portable pressure was has its benefits as well due to it being portable. Will never perform like this unit though. I think it all comes down to what you will be using it for.
Are you aware if they sell an upgrade kit ? If we have the older/standard version , I’d the newer hose and guide with ball bearings can be bought to upgrade ?
Hey Keav, I'd love to know the true dimensions of these units... would you be willing to tape measure it? thinking about it for my detailing van. Thanks!!
I would say go with 21x21x15, but that is rounding up and that is a conservative measurement. Its closer to 20x20x14, but I rounded up an inch because this is so curvy and oblong its hard to measure.
@@LYTS0UT I think they didn't post it right. They say 34 inches from the ground is the best mounting point for the reel to retract its best, but that is mainly for the base model. The ones with the upgraded hose have a better reel guide that lets you do any angle. As long as the hose is being held at the same height as the reel it will retract the same on the base model.
Both are amazing and it just depends on your style. The clear bottle and easy too is my pick and why I use the S V3 more. Do you recommend the plus plus or the active 2.0? I know that I would have to purchase a reel and stuff in addition to the active 2.0. Just wasn’t sure if the “value or total package” for the added expense would be worth it. Just wash cars at the house nothing crazy. Just tired of pulling out the bigger pressure washer to wash one car.
The Plus+ is only $20 more than the 2.0, but the 2.0 is way better performance. If you want the all in one unit that’s easy to use the I would go plus+. If you want superior performance and the ability to pick your own hose and reel the. 2.0. Just know a good reel and hose with the 2.0 is going to be close to $500.
Sweet, yeah definitely going with the active 2.0 then. I saw Adam’s had a kit you could add on that gave you a 60 foot hose. I also saw OG had a kit with reel and 100 foot hose but it was $1,300. Do you have a recommendation on hose and reel for at least 50 feet, that the active 2.0 could handle? I figured a good hose and reel was around $400-$500.
