Canada 🇨🇦 here...atta boy! I did one as well...for all we have, it comes down to tires...make a set of chains for your kit! Keep turning that wrench... one love ❤️
Awesome! I too just purchased a 2004 HO. Somehow it’s 4” lower than the one I owned 19 years ago! My plan is to fully transform her just like yours! Have some epic adventures, I’ll be filming mine on the Rubicon soon.
I payed $500 for my 04 Limited 4.7, it was hit hard in front passenger wheel. Bent the front axle and all it's mounts, and the fender. Luckily the axle took most all the hit. Over the next 3 years I put another $4000 into it with a complete long arm suspension, rebuilt the engine and a bunch of smaller issues. It is now very capable, comfortable and with around $5000 total into it much cheaper than a new one.
That's awesome! Yeah we love how capable these WJ's are for the price and the power from the V8 is great! If we ever do another WJ build, we'll probably go with the long arm setup as well.
@@charliedee9276 nice! Since this was our first offroading rig, we tried to stay on the budget as we are learning everything, but in the near future we'll get more serious with better quality and more offroad capable parts..
@@rockymountboy because I bought a 23 year old jeep that had a brand new Quadra drive system put in it before I bought it not rebuilt but a completely new system so it is brand new to my 23 year old jeep with 216 k mikes on the Jeep less than 2 thousand on the Quadra drive system in it

Gents: love the content...just drove back to Seattle from Arizona...took some paths less travelled near Area51...blew a HG on the home stretch. I dont have the tools, space, or know how to do THAT job myself. Any Western Washington shops you can recommend for major engine work on a 4.7? Thanks....
Thanks we appreciate the support! That was always my worst nightmare on my jeep, but unfortunately I don't know any shops. I usually do the repairs myself...sorry to hear that though, hopefully you were able to get it fixed...stay safe out there
The jeep has a 4inch lift. Unfortunately I didn't record the entire snorkel install, however, there are other videos on RUclips that kind of go through the process. Thank you for the kind words.
Cool build come see my Grand Cherokee Laredo build its a 1996 Grand Cherokee Loredo 6 inch lift on 33s I rino lined the whole truck and getting ready to build my winch bumper …..
6 months so far and the axles are still doing just fine, I do think the Varilock system is struggling with the bigger tires though but still works okay most of the time.

Stray dogs, kittens and WJ's should ALWAYS be saved!
I just picked up a 99 WJ limited 4.7L qudradrive. Should be an awesome build when I’m done. Nice project you have there. Thanks for sharing.

Nice 1999 I just bought a 1999 wj with 4.7 and brand new Quadra drive in it right now daily driver but one day want to make it a off roader
Brand new QuadraDrive?
@@rockymountboy type of 4x4 system in that year of Jeep they made a few the Quadra drive is all time 4x4

Did you put a lift in it .and what size tires you running
Yes we did, check out the description of the video for details on the lift and tires.

Do you still have that factory brush guard? I would gladly buy it off of you if you can ship to socal.

How's the rub on this?
No more rubbing after extending rear bump stops a little..
Hey just nobody thought of this make it tough before you make it nice makes sense huh but maybe next time huh but nice job looks great
Thanks! Definitely next time for our next build in the future.
