The mentality of the 80's and 90's was cold blooded in that Era of NBA. Players had to endure the process to achieve greatness and respect. Unlike today's NBA games were players from opposing teams, hug and kiss before game. Killer instinct is a lost mentality amongst players in today's NBA culture. It has been watered down for entertainment purposes. Rule changes to cater to the high scoring agenda. Defense is no longer popular due to the sensitive nature of the league. The extinction of the physical nature of the 80s, 90s had soften the league to pee wee level rules.. The extinction of the big men in the league were the half court game was dominate. Today it's all run and shoot 3s or euro step with no defense to the lane. Players of the late eras constantly got hit hard driving to the lane reducing their level of energy to even play offense, hence is why Steph would not have enough energy to shoot 3s from half court. Labron would be an average player because all teams had big bodies and were very physical. Not Labron's, fault but he got to enjoy the soft era and dominate it at questionable points in his career. #superteam syndrome. Jordan made the last dance for a reason! To let the world know that the era was 10 times more physical than todays game. Stop comparing players of the pass to players of today.
