Technically this also could've been in Sonic Frontiers especially The Final Horizon. Imagine this playing with the Final Battle against The Supreme End.

17 days ago I heard good news that an update has revealed that according to the lead singer/songwriter (Johnny Gioeli) Paramount will be using the OG Crush 40 version of Live & learn in Sonic 3, not a remix which would have the music sound any amount different and be performed by someone else!
I guess he understood how much of a major risk it would be to use a remix because after the theatrical release how many fans worldwide would very likely start putting out a LOT of backlash due to that studio missing the opportunity to use the original version, and that he likely understands that Paramount would barely get any complaints if the original version gets used because of that version of it being the version that a majority of the fanbase does want that movie to have in it.
