- I did not sleep- haha.
I actually was planning this since I posted that “Break through it all” Duet when someone asked if I would ever do more than two voices.
Originally, this was just Crush 40, Nate, Lacey, and Lollia/Richaad as Sonic, Shadow, Amy, and Rouge. But I kinda just played with the idea even when it was finished, stopped touching it, made more duets and then I did “I’m Here” which answered the question of using two voices, so I didn’t touch it at all. It was a bit janky ngl. I honestly cannot recall what made me do this, but I added an Eggman, knuckles, and Tails.. swap the Amy to Tails and got a new Amy. Then couldn’t find a Knuckles for a good while till I said screw accuracy- and I made uh, this mix..
And I spent all night and early morning making the visual. I have over like 20 images of the art with icons I made using their PNGs, and then I realized… “Wow there is no official 2D Super Shadow in this art style is there-“ and then I took the render image of super shadow, drew over it in MediBang with a sloppy job replicating the weird yet pretty shading- and passed this off as super shadow yes you see me choppy work there lmao. But yay, I did it finally! Everyone’s covers are so great by themselves but BY GOLLY does syncing all them vocals kinda be bitch yet rewarding o3o
I kinda hate visual but it feels boring with out em~

I love how Amy’s in the middle, cause she’s practically the one to connect the hero and dark sides (mainly Sonic and particularly Shadow) to fight the biolizard.

What would've been like if Knuckles was also neutral? For he's sided with both Sonic and Eggman several times.
Also, what if Amy was playable in the Hero Side story? And if she and Tails each had unique gameplays? With the latter having his SA1 gameplay.

The Way i see this, this is what happened on their side of the 30th anniversary, Team Hero and Dark forming a rock band in their own rock outfits(for instance Amy and rouge are in their outfits from the mobile games) and Rocking a show for everyone with DJ vector For the Music control. and at the end, they all go super with Metal versions taking control of the instruments. and let me say......HOLY FRIJOLI THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

It isn’t LittleV, though I did consider using his cover for placement of “Knuckles” or “Eggman”. But when changing the pitch/octave it just made him sound so odd to me, similar case for Jonathan Youngs’ covers.

The only mistake i would point out is how while the voice go well togheter, the music behind seems to be.....fighting, in the guitar solo everyone seem to be fighting for the main stage instead of going togheter, but thats the limitation of putting multiple covers togheter. 9/10 all of this

Actually had similar thoughts too. Originally he was thought of a Sonic placement when originally was intending 4 singers instead of 7.
I had Lacey and Lollia as my Amy and Rouge, but Johnny and Nate actually sometimes kept switching back and forth when I was still placing their spots to sing. I pretty much annoyed myself there-
It really just happened because I had Nate as a Shadow placement in the past, but also Sonic. But Crush 40 just gave me the Sonic senses more.
It wasn’t till I decided to get the full Hero team and Dark team with Amy included still. Lollia remained as Rouge but Everyone else got swapped around or given characters haha.
the super thing was a nice touch.
