- Death in Paradise is a British-French crime drama created by Robert Thorogood. The show is set on the fictional Caribbean island of Saint Marie, which is a British Overseas Territory. The series focuses on the police department on the island and their efforts to solve murder mysteries.
The show is a joint Anglo-French production between The BBC and France Télévisions.

The remark about a bridal bouquet making no sense as to who gets married next is essentially straight from Monty Python . . . strange women, lying in pods, distributing swords, is no basis for a system of government. Etc.

Honore is a dangerous place.
The crimes are just fictional.. (but of course crimes exist in parts of the world so take care if your going there) but i believe the island is just as beautiful
