Then electronic music like House, Techno etc. appeared, along with the artists that couldn't afford the digital ones and made the best out of the unwanted analog equipment. Funny, how things have developed.
With a little bit of twisting you can get very close with the Behringer Cat and also create very bizarre extreme percussion sounds due to its modulation architecture.
This and a sampler would be a great combo.
The only problem with pure analogue Is that you can't save patches. Killer sound anyway
This brought back Polaroid memories.
:)
Wouldn’t make any sense for a synth as simple as this to have patch memory.
I use paper or pdf sheets to save patches I make. I have a blank sheet for the synth I use(model d, K2 etc) and I just write down the parameters.
@hitek_dreamz oh hey. Funny seeing you in the wild. Love the obscure minimal wave series.
And I only look for and use instruments that have no storage or presets.

If you hold trigger 2 while powering up you can go into mode 2.

This thing sounds amazing
When the Linn LM-1 appeared in the early 80s, it was widely assumed that analogue drum machines would become obsolete.
Then electronic music like House, Techno etc. appeared, along with the artists that couldn't afford the digital ones and made the best out of the unwanted analog equipment. Funny, how things have developed.
Awesome!
Can't wait to have one!
