  • Hello & Welcome back to Caravan Escapades and welcome to this Vlog. This is the second product revue from Titan. They sent us the Titan Fridge Vent Fan. This is designed to help to keep your Caravan or Motor Home fridge cool during those hot spell. The Installation is easy enough although I did get our caravan dealer to install it for me. The product does feel robust and reliable, this is in fact the 3rd Titan Fridge Vent Fan that I have had.
We were lucky enough for them to send a discount code and a link for you to take advantage of.

Now THIS looks like a gadget potentially worth having! Much easier to install than the Dometic one. Cheers for the review.

Hi James, very interesting. I confess my ignorance in saying I am not sure I would be able to splice a 12V feed from the van as I am not sure I could identify which cable to take the feed from. Is there a simple way to identify the correct cable? I could do the splice if I had the correct cable identifies.
I was sited on the north Scottish coast at a CL three days ago, (Crofters's Snug CL. a beautiful site with the best views of the sea and the Orkney Isles , the temperature was about 21C but the sun was direct on my fridge vents so my fridge was warmish). Your video was timely to say the least.
Do you think DIY would affect the vans warranty?
    Thanks Colin

Hi to Identify the correct cable there are a couple of ways, if you can search online for a wiring diagram of your Caravan, you may even have one in the manual for the fridge or in the main user manual. Alternatively if you can use a Multi Meter you maybe able to get access to the back of a plug and check for 12v Dc. Or do you have something like an Aerial Booster near where you want to locate and you could pick up from that 12v Supply. I hope that was of help

Hello Sorry I don't, But it was Several Meters, So should be pretty adequate for most installs

Hi, does this mess with the warranty of the van?

Hi No, there should be no reason for it to mess with your warranty, You are only picking up a 12v Supply and clamping it to the back of the grill. If you are concerned check with your dealer first. Thanks for watching and happy camping
