- We're halfway through the Generation and Xbox and PlayStation have both released dozens of huge games. Something is about to change in 2024 and it hasn't happened in over a decade, and surprisingly it's coming from Xbox.

Of the 2 game showcases we got, the games that really caught my eye were: Stellar Blade, Avowed, Visions of Mana and Rise of the Ronin. I'd also like to give an honorable mention to both Silent Hill 2 and Indiana Jones and the Great Circle. IDK if I am going to play them, but I definitely will keep my eye on them.
Due to the new $70 price tag on games, alot of us will be buying fewer games unfortunately - or at least waiting till price comes down

If its true that Xbox is bringing Xbox exclusive games to ps or Nintendo, then its a matter of time that Xbox will die in terms of hardware Sales...then there is just no reason anymore to buy an Xbox console.....in my opinion a very very bad move if Microsoft would do that.( I own all Xbox and ps consoles btw).....if that day comes, then PlayStation is truly the one and only King of the hill👑
Biggest game coming out this year is easily for me, Dragon's Dogma 2.
So, I decided to look at some PS/XBox videos on a whim, and I saw this video with the title asking about "better" exclusives. Strangely, all I hear talk about is the graphics and not much else. Very disappointed. Grahpics alone are no measure of quality.

Silent Hill didnt look great but im such a big fan I would have bought it anyway if it was coming to PC or Xbox
I like how you make sure to point out ps “3rd party” games (which are actually 2nd party, but according to phil and devs, 2nd party don’t actually exist, so it’s 1st party), and yet with stalker 2 you fail to mention it’s 3rd party. Your bias couldn’t be more obvious. With a line up that ps has going on within only the first quarter of the year, that’s plenty of games to play. PS 1st party studios can take their time.
People keep saying 60fps is supposed to be "Next Gen" yet 60fps been around since the 80s. I'm not going to argue how 60fps make games look. But I do have a problem with 60fps gamers thinking the 30-60fps option also mean the game is broken. Never seen a problem until Microsoft announced what the standard should be, when 60fps never meant advanced technology.
It wasn't 60fps with 3D graphics on console though. Those early 3D consoles had awful framerates.
@quarantinefox Understood. However, I am not trying to step on anyone's toes. I just want the framerate options. This is not an excuse, but stating that framerates should not mean the game is broke. I'm irritated that today's developers do not explain framerate issues better.

Someone data mined and shows t-shirt if I think hifi rush that blue for Sony and says stuff and red for switch says stuff and video of Sara bond talking about the games going 3 party so yea this channel is probably going to die or lie to subscribers saying it’s all a lie about first party games not coming to switch and PlayStation just like all the rest of them have. You want to know why? Well they are afraid that once there games go 3 party they won’t be any use for Xbox which they are right.
He has to convince people to buy an Xbox for some unknown reason. In regards to FF7 trilogy coming to Xbox, there is no evidence whatsoever it will be coming. FF14 was only just confirmed and they havent mentioned FF16 yet either. If you are looking for JRPGs, Xbox is not your friend.

PlayStation will do good because they do also physical copies. Xbox just deleted their physical distribution department. Colt did you mentioned that on the channel? It will obsolete to own Xbox when it goes digital all the way. Subscription tactic is good for corporation but if you delete physical is anti consumer tactic.
Better delete this video. It's set and done. Microsoft is a full 3rd party publishers. Games will be first on Xbox and then in ps5 and switch. That's the reality.

Ok I don't care what people say, both Avowed and Rise of The Ronin look gorgeous to me! I prefer the artist choice over hyper realism, saying that they look last gen... Is it really an issue when most games that came out last gen were gorgeous as well? Ghost of Tsushima was a PS4 GAME FFS!

I really like the Xbox ecosystem, I like the console itself. I don't care about exclusives, I've only played GOW and I can't say it's something outstanding. The rest of the PS exclusives don't interest me. I am the proud owner of all modern consoles, but I play mainly on XBOX. I have a limited Series X Halo 20 year anniversary edition and God how amazing it is from the sound of switching on to the work itself - quiet, powerful.
Being a PC gamepass subscriber I'm very excited about all the games coming out in 2024 and beyond 😊😊😊🙂😁😁😁❤️❤️❤️

I e owned Xbox forever it seems and have the series x and have loved it but I bought the ps5 slim back in November and I find myself playing it way more the my Xbox. Probably because it’s still new to me, loving the god of war and Spider-Man series . Just getting into the last of us series and it seems that the story lines on PS5 games are so much better than the Xbox series . I’ll continue playing my Xbox but I get bored with it easily and finding myself playing PS5 way more.

Not true. They may show something in the summer but there is no first party coming this year.

@@Cristian-et5bg Wrong. This is a perfect time to release a PS5 pro, because GTA 6 is coming out in 2025, and if Dragon’s Dogma’s 2 is locked at 30 FPS on consoles, then GTA 6 will most likely be locked at 30 FPS. A PS5 pro can help with that, depending on how powerful it is

Right now I got persona 3 reload day 1 on xbox for , I would have to pay 70 for it on ps5, so to me that's an exclusive right there, exclusive savings brah. I think PlayStation done a better job presenting their games but Xbox games are better that got announced but the game stellar blade on PlayStation 5 has made me want a PlayStation for the first time. I really miss the games that have sex appeal it's like watching movies with ugly people it's just not that fun. 😁 We all need to be honest and truthful and give our opinions even if others don't like it too bad.

If the future is online subscribes, because Microsoft must be making some coin from Xbox Game Pass, I see the console wars coming a brand war. Sony and Microsoft could have the same console next generation with a chip in it that lets the buy only on the PlayStation Network or on Xbox Game Pass. Since Sony bring PS4 exclusives to PC I believe Sony should keep it's games exclusive to a PC PlayStation service...Xbox Girl on RUclips says PlayStation is outselling the Xbox 3 to 1, so Sony maybe just a keep a service on console. Asian market Sony most likely outsell Xbox 10 to 1.
