went from ps4 to switch cause i kinda got bored within gaming got a pc after then i wanted a new gen console and got a xbox Series x and i gotta say its soo easy for me on the pocket man games are super cheap on G2A and if i want to use my credit card xbox isnt restrictive to regions unlinke ps loving my series x.
XBox Series X, for its overall performance, online multiplayer experience w/ Game Pass and backwards compatibility. The PS5 controller impressed me .. haptic feedback and the built in microphone is very cool. The PS5 controller ergonomics is superior to the Xbox controller. I notice that games on the PS5 are very well optimized even though games don't hit 120 fps. I do enjoy playing the PlayStation exclusives. XBox wins in a close race.
The ps5 wins in terms of exclusives, but the xbox is a much better console and platform overall. Better backwards compatibility, more powerful console, more features, and gamepass
@@Dr.HaroldShipman That too. The series X has a much more compact and sleek design while the ps5 is just unnecessarily big and clunky and looks more cheaply made with all its plastic exterior parts
I switched from PS to Xbox when the One X came out and never looked back. I am lucky enough to be able to afford and own both, but my main is the Series X and I couldn’t be happier. Great video!
I have the Xbox Series X. I upgraded it this past Christmas because I enjoy the games I have purchased on it and love the new ones and their graphics. Where as the controller for the Xbox does not have a microphone or speeker built in, it does have a place were you can plug in a mic / headset and use it. I use my headset with colourful lites and it works great. I have not tried the PS / 5 but it does look awesome with some of it's games, but I stuck with my Xbox since I have so many games and subscription with it.
Every reviewer who docks points for the Xbox controller having replaceable batteries is missing the point and I don’t understand how at this point. There are so many positives: -If the battery dies, replace the battery, not the controller. Cheaper and less e-waste -Rechargable AA batteries are a cheap, one time purchase. You will not wear out good ones. -Rechargeable battery packs from Xbox are an option. Install once, plug in to recharge. -Charging docks that include a battery pack are also an option. Somewhat expensive, but really convenient and user friendly -The price for a replacement Xbox controller is about $20-25 cheaper than a PS5 controller. Once you purchase a rechargeable battery solution, that brings the controller price to parity. -Xbox batteries last longer than PS5 batteries. Not sure why (different maH ratings, PS5 controller has more going on, both?), but it’s an advantage on the Xbox side.
But I had my PS4 for like 9 yrs now and kept the same controller with no issues, no extra rechargeable battery or AA batteries needed to be purchased 🤷🏻♂️
I currently have a Series X, Everyone bangs on about gamepass but in reality it’s absolutely dog turd. I’m close to moving to PS5 as these days I care more for single player games.
Same. I have a Series S. Bought it for gamepass but I'm getting sick of playing a game and then its removed and I have to buy it if I want to keep playing. Also forget about trying to stream the game on gamepass it takes for ever for it to load.... I'm about to buy a PS5 digital Slim..
Reasons to buy an Xbox: 1. Controller (New model this year, Gyro, Haptic feedback, Haptic triggers, internal battery) 2. Backward compatibility/Emulation 3. Sleeker design 4. An actual internet broswer 5. Play anywhere, all devices, Same save spot 6. Gamepass (Day 1 releases) 7. More consumer friendly 8. Future titles: Fable, Elder Scrolls, etc... 9. Technically a more powerful console 10. Quick resume Reasons to own a PS5: 1. Exclusives 2. Controller (prefrence to some, I don't care for all the bells and whistles, especially in multiplayer games) 3. Higher player base (ability to shut off crossplay with Xbox and PC 4. Swappable faceplates 5. PS VR 2 That's all I got.
Agree I love both my XSX and ps5 however, I use ps5 for exclusives and XSX for multiplayer and everything else. I’ve been that way since the early cod and halo days. Multiplayer just feels at home on the Xbox.
I've been an Xbox fan ever since the 360 first launched in 2005. If it weren't for the backwards compatibility, controller comfort, left thumb stick above the dpad, the exclusives, and the history of games that I purchased throughout the course of 10 years I would DEFINATELY choose the PS5 as my console
I been with xbox since 2001 loyal as they come just switch to playstation 5 slim all digital yes I like spider 🕷 man 1 Miles Morelaes spider 🕷 man 2 Rachet clank Rift Apart Grand turismo 7 it's Fire 🔥 for them games but everytning is trash 🗑 the design is ugly the controller 🎮 is uncomfortable everything feels cheap also my slim just died after 1 month of use none of my xbox never died on me sony just sent me other playstation 5 last week smh 🙇♂️ the ps5 is overrated also overhyped I Rather play gears of ear 12345 than any uncharted Game with them annoying puzzles 🧩 Respectfully 💯
Ye or if smthing is free on the ps5 and actually Fortnite but it’s partially cause on Xbox I unlinked my epic and now I can’t use it for abt a year 😢but also the response with Kbm on Fortnite is better on ps5 and if your a controller player it has gyro unlike the box😊
I have a Series X & S and a Ps5 and I also only play my ps5 for the Single player exclusive only and i play everything else on my Xbox’s. If i had to choose between a console id probably go Xbox mainly because its a more powerful console with more features and Gamepass is better than Ps plus imo due to the variety. The ps5 is a great console as well I really don’t have any complaints beside the controllers dying fast. I have rechargeable batteries on my xbox controllers and they last longer than the ps5 ones but that’s probably due to all the features within the controller so its a trade off
most of the game on game pass are trash Endie game though i had it and nothing on the library ever interested me beside gta 5 but its remove i had the disk already its just was less annoying to look for the disk and switch it for starting playing. i had to convert back to gold subscription because game pass is not wort it
I’ve Had My Xbox Series X For Almost 2 Years & I Love It With My Customized Elite Series 2 Controller. I Never Had An Issue With It. I Personally Prefer It Over A PS5 Because Of Mainly Backwards Compatibility & Performance For My Favorite Games. I Do Like PlayStation But Only PS2 & 3 because I don’t have an interest in the PS Exclusive, Only Old Games That Were Only On The Old PS Consoles🔥👍
I had PS5 digital, sold it because I wanted to get myself an Xbox series X…after that I got PS5 Slim…same thing hahah gave it to my little brother, took his PS5 disc version OG and now thinking of selling it and getting Xbox for real this time
After owning both for a few years, it's really hard to pick a favorite. PS5 has a couple exclusives that really made an impact, but they havent actually released all that many exclusives for PS5 in general. I looked it up, and its somwhere between 5-8 depending on what you consider "exclusive" - i.e remakes, extended versions, etc. Xbox is lacking a bit in that department, but seems to be improving. One HUGE benefit to Xbox that noone talks about is things like the group finder and party chat system. Joining into a Xbox party can be done by users on Xbox and PC, discord has much better integration on Xbox, and the looking for group system actually allows for more new experiences. I love the dualsense edge controller, but most of the features end up feeling like gimmicks after a bit of time. Controller mic was stupid and honestly I hate it. The Xbox controller has barely any real features, but it fits my hands better. Also you can use the Xbox button and share button on PC, which is really cool. PS5 has a nicer looking UI, where Xbox is a bit more "advertisy" i guess. PS5 allowing for any SSD with a heatsink to be used as storage is a HUGE win - big fan of that. When it comes to power - they both play nearly the same games so it really doesnt matter. Gamepass is great when they add titles like Diablo 4, and will get even better once COD is on it. PS Plus is actually pretty great for their exclusive games when they go to it, plus some smaller titles. Playstation also seems to have more indie horror games which is really cool, but Xbox allows for early access games, which is why we get things like Palworld. Overall, I can confidently say i've made more new friends on Xbox due to things like the party chat system and group finder, but PS5 feels a bit more premium of an experience.
It really doesn't matter what you buy in my opinion. I had both but built a pc recently so i sold my series x. Ps5 exclusives aren't anywhere near as good as they used to be in my opinion. The series x is a better built machine. If i wasn't on pc now and i could only choose one console it would be series x.
Every PS5 player always recommends Spider-Man.. What if some of us aren't Marvel fans? Both consoles are so alike in terms of games and with crossplay being more of a thing. It's all about exclusives and PS5 just don't have much. Unless you were a PS3 player. Cause the PS3 had amazing exclusives.
I had a Xbox one but for some reason it stopped working, I’m looking into either getting the Xbox or the PS5. I’m only into playing games like Madden, NBA 2k, WWE and the new college football game that’s coming out. Which one do you recommend
Those games you mentioned are not exclusive titles, so you’ll be able to play both on either console. I don’t think T2 will ever sell those 2k games rights. Personally I don’t like EA, so I recommend you stop buying madden
Xbox has ea play for 30 a year or with game pass, ea makes FIFA and such so you'll get some free older sports games + you'll try other genres of games like mirrors edge you may enjoy
Its not only that but which has better platform and services over all. Also at least Series X is backward compatible so your whole game library from previous generation follows and can be plaeyd with Series X, so why to change? Game pass and quick resume facility to the games is also very good facilities. I understand if someone bought lots of ps 4 games already it makes sense for them upgrade to PS5 instead and if they cant live without Spiderman lol For new gamers I think Xbox is better already because Game Pass gives them access to so many games. Brand new to older ones.
@@susanna8612it's probably a good game, but Spider-Man isn't the main selling point for me on owning a PS5. It's mainly the anime games. Xbox often gets shafted of them... also fighting games. The entire community are usually PS owners. So Xbox servers are usually dead unless it's crossplay, which is something Playstation is so anal about.
@@C2HGaming there is lots of fighting games even in game pass... DaY One realeases as well and since xbox is now strongly trying to get into Japanese markets anime games are becoming more and more avalable in xbox too. All the persona games including the newest has been in game pass and many more JRPGs and anime games. These 2 cathegories are not my personal favorites tho but reacently got into Tales series with xbox.
Controller is the only reason Why I haven't sold my Series S despite having PS5. The Xbox controller won me over again and again with comfort and better ergonomic. It fits in my hand Like an old pair of gloves. There is something about those offset concave sticks and the smaller size that makes in game movement feel tighter, making games more enjoyable to play. Though the dual sense controller has more features, it feels bigger and chunkier than it needs to be and my thumbs are always hunting for a good grip on those analogue sticks. It is not comfortable for long gaming sessions.
Been gaming since 89, had every playstation console but the dualsense is so uncomfortable that it broke the system for me.... The only use i get out of my ps5 now is to use it as my second PS4.
You never said which one was better 😄 but I guess the question more nuanced than that as both have their pros and cons which you laid out. I personally use my Xbox more, primarily because of Game Pass which is unbeatable value. However, PlayStation does have better exclusives like The Last of Us, Days Gone and Returnal which are my favourites. I must say though, backwards compatibility and fps boost on Xbox is so damn good, especially with quick resume. I've been playing 360 games at 60fps and absolutely loving them.
I got a PS5 Slim for my birthday and love it. The controller feels next-gen. I feel like I am missing out when I'm playing games on the PC that are also on PS5.
I’m. Bit confused . You say ps5 controller is much better but you say you prefer Xbox online because multiplayer is more comfortable controller with Xbox
I would say personally that PS5 Is great for the exclusives and since Xbox has been that online only oriented console for years and years now it is a great console for 3rd party games and everything else since you can find friends and all that PlayStation 5 isn’t really social like Microsoft is if you think about it
I have both, and you can't go wrong with either. I give ps5 the edge on exclusive, and I like the controller a little better, but I love elite controller as well!. With series x game pass, it gets the edge over ps+. There is lots of good stuff on both services, but day 1 exclusives is awesome on gamepass! If I had to pick one, and I'm glad I don't, I would say ps5.
Here's a simple rundown to help. Playstation has single-player story driven games Xbox has a multi-player on lock plus large backward compatible game library Nintendo has franchise favorites that are easy to just pick up and play like Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon I personally get all, but as Microsoft hit its stride with Xbox 360, most of my favorite games come from that, so I save money and have Xbox One X instead of the Series X. Because I went from PS3 to PS4, my game collection for PS4 was massive, so getting a PS5 was a no-brainer. My Nintendo Switch is the Red Box or version 2 Switch as it's all that I need because it will be docked most times. Games for Switch are a little hard to get especially if you are on a budget. I recommend Dragon Quest and the old school Final Fantasy games they don't suffer proformance issues, take less memory and cheaper than other Nintendo games. I hope this helps but it's just my opinion so take it as you will.
I have always been an Xbox guy and the series X is better imo because you can play almost any retro Xbox game and you get more with the Xbox then the ps5 with your money
Damn, I have never heard anyone say that Starfield was a good game. First time for everything I guess! I have a Series X, S and a PC and I rarely touch my Xbox's so I'm thinking about selling my X, keeping my S and buying a PS5. Still kinda on the fence though.
having two pairs of batteries for the Xbox and just switching one when it dries for the other is awesome... Ps5 has batteries it means you have to interrupt your gameplay a lot to recharge
I have both, and I don't play my ps5 really. I love the Xbox because there's no lag, the controller last longer, there's better games on game pass, and I can put more games on xbox. It's just better than the Playstation.
I have neither but I would definitely go Xbox so I can still play most of all my old 360 games. There’s some absolute classics on that system that I still play on my old 360 console today. Really would like to play Alan Wake 2 and the Resi 4 remake at some point.
Consoles are cheaper but again, all PS5 games are coming to PC. You don't need either if you want to go high end PC but if you wanna pick between PS5 and Series X... the future is absolutely clear. Playstation is putting out no new games until April of next year, if then. Xbox has bangers all down the pipeline including COD coming to GamePass. They have the largest library of games, and console plans to make a huge technological leap. @@The400iq
I think it depends on the type of gamer you are. For example, I'm more of a single-player, story-driven casual gamer, and I never play online games, so for two decades, the PlayStation fits me better. I do think Xbox's controller with AA batteries is better because it "could" lead to less e-waste, but only if the batteries are recycled, which they rarely are. This also coule be inconvenient if you forget to stockpile on batteries. I never had a battery issue with the internal battery on my PS4 controller, and doubt it'll be an issue on the PS5 controller for a majority of people. The Xbox backwards compatibility is dope, but since I've never been an Xbox guy, this wasn't enough to convert me. What's interesting is despite the advantages, the universe has again spoken, and it isn't in favor of Xbox. I'm forecasting, but Microsoft has to win the next generation, or major changes, such as maybe pulling out of the hardware business could be at stake.
I own both and this is what I think. The Series X is king with backward compatible games. Sony has a lot too (on PS plus) but it's usually streaming only, so the quality is often underwhelming and disappointing versus native quality. Xbox Series X also has Dolby Vision gaming (and I believe support for movies) which adds a nice extra pop of color and detail. I'm often surprised that it activates on my tv for games you wouldn't expect from the 2010s. I honestly wish Sony would support Dolby Vision (PS5 only has HDR10) because then the PS5 would be a much stronger recommendation. Xbox also has game pass which I feel is more rewarding with their games and the quests that they give you. You can build up points and claim some great rewards. I think Playstation has this too (I think it's Playstation Stars) but I've honestly never used it. For PS5, you can't beat their exclusives. Ghost of Tsushima, God Of War, The Last of Us Part 1, Spiderman, Horizon Forbidden West, etc. Then you have older exclusives (The Last of Us remastered, Beyond Two Souls, Heavy Rain, etc) and they all honestly look like remasters on the PS5. I'm amazed by how GOOD they look. Another point for PS5 is the controllers. They feel much more comfortable compared to Xbox. My hands noticeably hurt or ache after gaming for a while on my Xbox to the point that I bought some handle grips for them. I never had that problem for PS5. The PS5 also has haptic feedback and better vibration feedback. It's much better than Xbox's basic vibration feedback. Even the Xbox 360 controller felt more powerful than the Series X. The Series X just feels more "realistic" where it doesn't overdo the intensity, but it just feels underwhelming. The PS5 controller just gives you a much greater sense of immersion. And then we have their game quality. Quite a few game companies didn't update their games for when the Xbox One X first came out, so a lot of their games aren't even 1080p when you play on the Series X (Assassin's Creed Syndicate, Evil Within, Batman Arkham collection, etc.) Playstation doesn't have this problem. The games I mentioned, plus a list of other games, are at least 1080p on the PS5. The only downside is that they might not have HDR support or FPS boost like Xbox Series X. The Ezio collection is one of these games. It looks much better on the PS5, but it's not FPS boosted like it is on the Series X. Then you have the opposite problem for games like Red Dead 2. Native 4k on Series X, but only checkerboard 4k on PS5. I honestly recommend both if you can. Both consoles get a lot of flack for not feeling like true next gen (and I honestly understand why people say this) but playing modern or older games on both is an amazing experience. They both still have a lot to offer, both pros and cons. It's hard to pick just one.
I have a PS5 slim and X-Box Series S. The X-Box is for most of my gaming. Game Pass, their store has good sales and I find the controller more ergonomic. I also have my Netflix and Apple Movies and Music geared up on it. The PS5 is for PS exclusives, which Sony has a much better selection of to be honest. Horizon, Uncharted, Spider-Man et al.
I prefer the PS5’s controller, UI, Blu-Ray and DVD player, and exclusives, but I prefer the Xbox’s services, backwards compatibility, and customization features.
who cares for u i love using the xbox with my lg blu-ray player and the apps on the xbox ps5 sucks on the apps blu-ray player since i own a lg blu-ray player and sony x700 blu-ray player so who cares for u dum dum the xbox is a good console since i love using the apps on it no one cares if u hate xbox it best cosnole for it media player
I have both ans love that the x feels like a gaming console and media system, but thr ps5 has awsome exclusives and too notch control.. personally I'd go eith the one you can afford.
@@RendonTechThe graphics are the same on both. The “on paper” specs don’t mean anything in real day to day usage. To our eyes the games look the same. Some games are better optimized for ps5 and even have smaller game install sizes, so there’s that, but visually both look the same. Both do 4K, both do raytracing. Anything else, you’re talking about game play and performance. One thing I would say though is that most games are cross gen anyway but ps5 seems to have more AAA titles that are exclusive to this gen that can’t be played on last gen hardware like Returnal, Ratchet and clank. Most Xbox series X games can be played on my Xbox one x and my ps5. I can use game pass on my one x if that was something I had interest in. Personally I prefer physical media and current gen games over last gen titles.
My experience is that it just comes down to how well the game is optimized. Occasionally a game performs better on PS5 where in other cases it's a bit better on Series X. In typical cases they are almost identical. But if we're talking cross-platform, you can get the benefit of higher res XB1 games with 60/120 FPS boost on XBX, auto-HDR support, and you're stuck on 1080P/30 FPS on PS5. So for that reason the XBX has "better graphics" only because the PS5 is lacking this feature of enhancing last-gen games. It might just be a technical limitation because I'd love to see such a feature on PS5. You get a bit of this across the last-gen to current optimizations as well. E.g. a game like Street Fighter 6 that's on XBX|S as well as PS5|4, you can see some laziness in the optimizations on the lesser systems and it has some impact on how the games also run on the more powerful hardware.
@@Loophole23742well that’s a strong opinion respect you for it. I personally came from a ps4 just got a series X yesterday and really love it especially when i put in some of my old games from my 360
As a person who owned an xbox series s. The ps5 is much smoother. But the X is faster in terms of loadtimed. But when it comes to the controllers the ps5 works better for my hands.
Thanks yes I got the Xbox series s upgraded to the series X got the PlayStation 5 upgraded to the PlayStation 5 slim they are both great 👍 also I have the PS5 Portal they are both great. Also The last of Us 2 4K update was fantastic on PS5. The color depth on the Xbox is better than PS5 the PS5 dual sense elite Pro controller is expensive but fantastic. The Xbox series X Pro controller is around $100 is also fantastic with the back panels. But the Gamepass Gamepass Gamepass especially during inflation!!
Definitely the Xbox X. I have an Xbox X paired with my awesome 100 inch Samsung QLED wall mounted in my bedroom. I also paired it with my M2 Mac Mini! So I can use my workstation and play games too all on my 100 inch Samsung QLED! Simply awesome! By the way, I never play PS and never like PS games or any action games or any sports games like soccer, basketball and car racing. and I also don’t like spider man or Wukong Black Myth kinda games. Super hate these kind of action games. I only play RPG games like Skyrim, Fable, Jade Empire, Star Wars Knights Of The Old Republic, Vampire: The Masquerade, Vampire Destiny, Vampyr. These are the games that I love to play. Especially vampire RPG games are my favourites!! I love relaxing RPG games.
Yes you like ps5 better which is a good thing for you. But you know what? Nintendo blows Sony, Xbox, and Microsoft out of the water. No arguments Nintendo is way better then those 3 company's
I have both systems and in all both systems is good no matter how you look at it but the only system I do not have is the Nintendo switch to me my opinion about the Nintendo switch is only for the younger kids that is what Nintendo switch is for just my opinion I rather have PlayStation and Xbox
Well at least you own ps5 That's good to know but Xbox gamepass sucks and it's just another cheap way to sell more game PlayStation and Nintendo is way better overall
I was always a playstation guy… two years ago i got Xbox series s since it was the only console available at that time in stores near me and i want to experience something i haven’t tried before… the xbox was a solid console but i ended up selling it later on and got myself a ps5…
who cares for u i love using the xbox with my lg blu-ray player and the apps on the xbox ps5 sucks on the apps blu-ray player since i own a lg blu-ray player and sony x700 blu-ray player so who cares for u dum dum the xbox is a good console since i love using the apps on it no one cares if u hate xbox it best cosnole for it media player
I have both, and I love both. I use xbox for Game Pass and I use my ps5 for exclusives that I want to play but also to check out games I already own and sometimes they add really good stuff to ps plus so I subscribe on some months just to play the things. But the rest of the time, I'm either playing Halo or something on xbox, that's the beauty of owning both you can play whatever you want and some weeks you won't touch the other and then some months you'll play mainly the other I sub to game pass every month and I only sub to ps plus on those specific occasions cause I don't play multiplayer on ps and if a games on game pass I'll play it on game pass and then some big single player games I'll play on ps5 and with the ps portal I can play any ps5 game remotely if I wanted to or not
I have both, mostly play xbox ps5 I use for exclusives and cod purely because you can turn crossplay off on ps5 where as xbox it's forced. There's is a deep console setting to disable cross play but it makes it so you only play with people on the series consoles only not ideal.
Depends really, if you want to play exclusives, then get the ps5! But if you don't really care about the exclusives, then definitely go for the xbox. The subscription service is far superior. Backwards compatibility, too. the xbox is cheaper too!
XBOX! You cant get better deal than Xbox and Game Pass. Go for Series S if u want excelent but budget friendly option. I got my series S for 200 € with 3 month Game Pass. U really dont need to spend that 550 $ for console. And same multiplatform games what costs in Play Statuon 80$ each comes to Game Pass day one and u have access to 400 other brand new and older games too. And there is big list of Xbox exclusives too and this year will be many more bangers released. All comes to Game Pass day One. Dont listen the ps fan boy liar who says xbox dont have games lol. They have sang that song past 20 years because they are always bitter when xbox is not giving xbox studio games to their platform. Xbox online communities are also very lively too and its more social platform over all. With PS people play mostly single player 3rd person movie games alone and thats what PS exclusives toovare all about. Not much variety what comes to different gendre.
Xbox, if u would wanna play more games, have a more powerful console (technically, that's what it shows on paper)have better social options manage to have emulation, a functional browsing app and some more
Interesting, because this is what I see with many ppl on both consoles. They say PS5 is better on this and that, has better games, but, when they do the count they tend to spend more time playing the Series X. So, I think this is a little strange.
I'm thinking I'm gonna like the Xbox series.X, I'm getting one from my dad this Christmas.I'm switching over to that besides p.S five i'm not enjoying the console
I have had both. PS hands down has better exclusives, which is a big deal. The main issue I also have is they also lack security badly. Breaches, seeing more cheaters in PS4 based games due to jailbroken PS4s, you do not have to deal with this on Xbox ever. Microsoft has been able to successfully lock down the consoles since the Xbox 360 era and has proven to continue doing so flawlessly. I do like the PS5 space design though. As far as looks, both are realistically nice. I think it’s a matter now of: Do you want the better exclusives and more immersive controller? Then PS5 Do you want the more powerful console with a crazy game library one game pass? Then definitely Series X. One thing to consider e is that PS5 pro is around the corner, and that may kill all this “power hype” series x has. I honestly love aspects of both though, but I think as far as overall games and just being creative, Sony still does it better. I was and have always been an Xbox fanboy but, Microsoft is seriously lacking these days. They need to pull some magic together or else it’s really going to continue hurting their sales.
You've nailed it mate. I always liked xbox but seriously it's supposed to be next gen and all the can do is give you a huge library of old games because none of the new ones are anywhere near on par with the ps5.
I have both and PS5 in snowrunner drops resolution very noticeable, while Xbox looks always 4k. Also other games PS5 resolution drops on demanding moments
Hardware Xbox. Software PS5. But realistically everyone is playing the same main games on both for the most part. A small percentage play the exclusives on either console.
Yup, as long as xbox consoles keep being backward compatible I will stick with Xbox. All my hundreds owned games are in xbox. And I prefer Xbox exclusives because I dont like cinematic single player movie games much. I like fast based action games and I think Xbox has more variety of gendre what comes to exclusive. Most sonys exclusives are 3rd person single player action adventure games. And I need Game Pass to play first day released games. Im not gonna pay 80 € for one game and Sony is already talking to raise game prices to 100 € like wtf...
I've always hated Xbox compared to ps look at how much better the ps controllers are then Xbox I've always said that I would only buy ps they look way cooler but that was when I was a child and didn't care or know about company fundamentals, guys look at Microsofts stock since inception it's been the best performing stock of all time since 1987 msft has gone up over 400,000% so it's a no brainer to choose Xbox over ps since I am investing in there stock.
Well you shouldn't hate Xbox you should despise it. It's a bad console that costs so much. the series S don't even play physical disks. it's bad. The ps5 is ok I guess its way better than the Xbox series s and X I'd would have a ps5 but still choose the switch and Nintendo.
Lmao he should have said that, but again that battery in the ps5 will get lower and lower in health then playstationers will only have 2 hrs left in the controller and either have to constantly quit and let it charge or keep it plugged in “gross” or buy a whole new controller vs just buying 5$ batteries or a charge pack 🤣 Xbox is # 1️⃣
I have both. Rarely touch the Xbox. I’m not surprised Microsoft is giving up and going 3rd party. Xbox hasn’t been able to compete since the 360 days. Couldn’t put out a good exclusive to save their life…. Even after all the acquisitions.
@@The400iq that’s because the one x is still a damn good console ps4 was so bad and had so many flaws mfs couldn’t wait to upgrade as long as games are still being made xbox users see no need to upgrade
@@The400iq microsoft is worth trillions those fake sales don’t mean sht which is why they can make a more reliable console that doesn’t blow up on you when it’s turned on for more than 3 hours
you shouldn't love xbox. it's such a bad console. it's not good at all and you're better off with just a PS5 or just a switch and you're not even gonna play anything on the Xbox because there is no good games on it
Ps5 controller doesn't have much use besides haptics,i prefer the Xbox pad, more comfortable, just my opinion, plus you get more hours of play out of rechargable batteries,
If you have a pc where in we can use gamepass same as xbox then doesn’t A combo of ps5 and a laptop/pc makes more sense? Why would one buy xbox over pc🤔
I sold my xbox series x to get ps5 slim with the disc.. what I noticed is that gamepass had way more games even had games my 5 yr old son could play.. but with play station plus I noticed there's not much on there that I like to play and only 3 games for my son and they are all paw patrol but the ps5 to me seems like the better console like he said with the controller and actual gaming
Def the ps5, better exclusives and unless you are really into halo there is isn’t any mp games for the Xbox that you can’t play on ps. Plus I like the ps controller better.
but is the ps5 controller have a solid durability is solid like is predecessor like ps 1 2 and 3 ?? because ps4 was horrible in that department i was buying more controller on ps4 than game its self just saying ngl x box controller durability is on point i give them that but is ps5 have improve on it ???
I've always been a PS5 person but outside of the exclusives I feel no need to leave the Series X. Unless I decided to get into the PC world. The series X is just such a beast of a machine and a simplicity , elite to controller and operating on an SSD make it the best console I've ever had.
I have had ps5, xbox series s, xbox series x, good gaming pc, nintendo switch non oled and oled etc. The nintendo switch have been with me all the time and is my main gaming fun. In my opinion, the xbox series x is the best partner, or the series s if your on budget. Im not a xbox fanboy, i have grown up with ps1,ps2,ps3,ps4 and loved socom.. i feel Microsoft has goten so much unfair heat this generation. Their gamepass, exclusive deals, discounts in shop, console design, hardware/cost, menu layouts, controllers etc etc is so good, love so much more gaming on xbox compared to the ps5. Its so wierd for me that ps5 sells so much when i feel Sony has dropped the ball this generation. Their exclusives has been maybe ok mid 3 overall, and their PlayStation portal is a waste, vr is gimmick in its form, and every strong side i mentioned about xbox is weaker on PlayStation (except controller, thats a personal pref). Hopefully Microsoft keep pushing, because its xbox again for me next time, with nintendo, if it keeps going like this.
Which do YOU like better out of the Playstation 5 or Xbox Series X ?
went from ps4 to switch cause i kinda got bored within gaming got a pc after then i wanted a new gen console and got a xbox Series x and i gotta say its soo easy for me on the pocket man games are super cheap on G2A and if i want to use my credit card xbox isnt restrictive to regions unlinke ps loving my series x.
More powerful ?
This minute the Series X.
Ps5
I like gamepass more than PS Plus tbh
Also, a better-looking console, the ps5 is an eyesore!
The Xbox séries x is better in service and backwards compatibility, on The ps5 wins in exclusives (i am Brazilian)
@@Dr.HaroldShipman That too. The series X has a much more compact and sleek design while the ps5 is just unnecessarily big and clunky and looks more cheaply made with all its plastic exterior parts
@@RendonTech The ps5 is honestly the most overrated console of all time

gross grow up
I switched from PS to Xbox when the One X came out and never looked back. I am lucky enough to be able to afford and own both, but my main is the Series X and I couldn’t be happier. Great video!
@GRINDER-lolPs5 since you have a pc you can play most games on Xbox with pc.
@GRINDER-lolXbox series X coming from a previous playstation owner just got a series X yesterday and love it
Only thing I need an X for is Fable and maybe Scarface
Exactly what I did. 👌👌
Get both
I have the Xbox Series X.
There are so many positives:
-If the battery dies, replace the battery, not the controller. Cheaper and less e-waste
-Rechargable AA batteries are a cheap, one time purchase. You will not wear out good ones.
-Rechargeable battery packs from Xbox are an option. Install once, plug in to recharge.
-Charging docks that include a battery pack are also an option. Somewhat expensive, but really convenient and user friendly
-The price for a replacement Xbox controller is about $20-25 cheaper than a PS5 controller. Once you purchase a rechargeable battery solution, that brings the controller price to parity.
-Xbox batteries last longer than PS5 batteries. Not sure why (different maH ratings, PS5 controller has more going on, both?), but it’s an advantage on the Xbox side.
Exactly.. Xbox is a better overall console.
But I had my PS4 for like 9 yrs now and kept the same controller with no issues, no extra rechargeable battery or AA batteries needed to be purchased 🤷🏻♂️
I have the rechargeable batteries for Xbox Series X. Cool stuff man.👍🏻

Reasons to buy an Xbox:
1. Controller (New model this year, Gyro, Haptic feedback, Haptic triggers, internal battery)
2. Backward compatibility/Emulation
3. Sleeker design
4. An actual internet broswer

I think you’re better off with a series s considering that’s all you play
Xbox has ea play for 30 a year or with game pass, ea makes FIFA and such so you'll get some free older sports games + you'll try other genres of games like mirrors edge you may enjoy
ps5
Ps5
Tbh, excluding the exclusives, both consoles perform about the same and it's really a matter of brand loyalty and which exclusives you like more.
Its not only that but which has better platform and services over all. Also at least Series X is backward compatible so your whole game library from previous generation follows and can be plaeyd with Series X, so why to change? Game pass and quick resume facility to the games is also very good facilities.
I understand if someone bought lots of ps 4 games already it makes sense for them upgrade to PS5 instead and if they cant live without Spiderman lol
For new gamers I think Xbox is better already because Game Pass gives them access to so many games. Brand new to older ones.
If we’re excluding exclusives, the series X wins by far in terms of value due to gamepass and backwards compatibility
PS5 is PS4 with a new controller. Xbox has integrated every Xbox made before it and made changing games instantaneous.
Lol you can only play about 500/2000 360 games and 50/1000 original xbox games
Xbox series x is xbox one with a (barely) new controller
You’re a great narrator and very well made video. But I’m still torn 😂
I have the Series X, and both the X n S have rechargable battery packs you have to buy as an extra.

I’m. Bit confused . You say ps5 controller is much better but you say you prefer Xbox online because multiplayer is more comfortable controller with Xbox
that is only because the ps5 haptic triggers and button layout arent all that useful competitively
I would say personally that PS5 Is great for the exclusives and since Xbox has been that online only oriented console for years and years now it is a great console for 3rd party games and everything else since you can find friends and all that PlayStation 5 isn’t really social like Microsoft is if you think about it
Exclusives like what? 🤣 spider man and uncharted is the only “good” exclusives lol Series X for the win all around!
I have Xbox series x I also got a ps5 this Christmas but I like Xbox way more still
Here's a simple rundown to help.
Playstation has single-player story driven games
Xbox has a multi-player on lock plus large backward compatible game library
Nintendo has franchise favorites that are easy to just pick up and play like Mario, Zelda, and Pokémon
I personally get all, but as Microsoft hit its stride with Xbox 360, most of my favorite games come from that, so I save money and have Xbox One X instead of the Series X.
I have both and got my ps5 2 weeks ago and I'm really enjoying my ps5 ! Spiderman god of war are amazing!
having two pairs of batteries for the Xbox and just switching one when it dries for the other is awesome...

I LOVE Cyberpunk, such an amazing game
I just bought my first console since the 80s. The PS5 slim🎮🕹 I still have my 2600
I have a PS5 slim and X-Box Series S.
I love both my xbox series s and ps5. Got the series s first and got ps5 last year. For some reason most the ps5 games stop working at awhile.

Exactly 💯
Since you’ve played both what one has the better graphics you think
Honestly when it comes to the graphics they are both REALLYYYY good and I can't really tell a difference tbh, technically on paper Xbox is better
Got both prefer the ps5 by a mile but the xbox rendering is definitely better and the image on screen is without I doubt slightly clearer.

I love relaxing RPG games.
wow! best console review video I have seen
Thank you!!
I like the ps5 better the Haptics and Adaptive triggers are sick plus they have the better exclusives I've always been a Sony guy
Yes you like ps5 better which is a good thing for you.
But you know what? Nintendo blows Sony, Xbox, and Microsoft out of the water. No arguments
Nintendo is way better then those 3 company's
I have both systems and in all both systems is good no matter how you look at it but the only system I do not have is the Nintendo switch to me my opinion about the Nintendo switch is only for the younger kids that is what Nintendo switch is for just my opinion I rather have PlayStation and Xbox
i like Xbox gamepass ❤but im a Ps5 fanboy ofcourse proud to be owner of PS5 😊
Well at least you own ps5
That's good to know but Xbox gamepass sucks and it's just another cheap way to sell more game
PlayStation and Nintendo is way better overall
You didn't mention the quick resume feature of the Xbox which is very handy
@dazspurs9899 this us true I absolutely LOVE the quick resume feature !
Looking to get my first system which one would you guys recommend the ps5 or the xbox x ?
Ps5 because why do you buy a console? To play games mainly and series x has none to be honest
Xbox, if u would wanna play more games, have a more powerful console (technically, that's what it shows on paper)have better social options manage to have emulation, a functional browsing app and some more
Palworld is only on xbox
Interesting, because this is what I see with many ppl on both consoles. They say PS5 is better on this and that, has better games, but, when they do the count they tend to spend more time playing the Series X. So, I think this is a little strange.
Xbox. Most powerfull concole of them and Game Pass is unbeatable. Looking forward to Avowed.
I love gamepass its the best !
I'm thinking I'm gonna like the Xbox series.X, I'm getting one from my dad this Christmas.I'm switching over to that besides p.S five i'm not enjoying the console
Indeed i use xbox for multiplayer and ps for exclusives
I have had both. PS hands down has better exclusives, which is a big deal. The main issue I also have is they also lack security badly. Breaches, seeing more cheaters in PS4 based games due to jailbroken PS4s, you do not have to deal with this on Xbox ever. Microsoft has been able to successfully lock down the consoles since the Xbox 360 era and has proven to continue doing so flawlessly. I do like the PS5 space design though. As far as looks, both are realistically nice.
I think it’s a matter now of:
Do you want the better exclusives and more immersive controller? Then PS5
Do you want the more powerful console with a crazy game library one game pass?
The dualsense controllers break way too easily I'm on my fourth in 2 years.
Hardware Xbox. Software PS5. But realistically everyone is playing the same main games on both for the most part. A small percentage play the exclusives on either console.
I plan on switching to the Darkside of Xbox so that’s why I’m watching this video
Sony isn't trying to blot out the sun and feed us cricket burgers.
Well you shouldn't hate Xbox you should despise it.
It's a bad console that costs so much. the series S don't even play physical disks. it's bad.
The ps5 is ok I guess its way better than the Xbox series s and X
I'd would have a ps5 but still choose the switch and Nintendo.
i like xbox series x more than ps5, i have both but the xbox controller feels more confy.
What do you mean by "no batteries" regarding the PS5 controller? You don't need to charge it then? It works out of it own force of will?
He means it's rechargeable you muppet
Even after all the acquisitions.
they aren’t giving up they’re way ahead of the competition
@@tdh9044In what not sales lol they barely passed 25 million units
@@The400iq that’s because the one x is still a damn good console ps4 was so bad and had so many flaws mfs couldn’t wait to upgrade as long as games are still being made xbox users see no need to upgrade
@@tdh9044 sure when xbox one sold 59m unit while ps4 like 115m unit. The xbox one was a media device not a game console
@@The400iq microsoft is worth trillions those fake sales don’t mean sht which is why they can make a more reliable console that doesn’t blow up on you when it’s turned on for more than 3 hours
PS5:
Bad awkward design
No games
Xbox Series:
idk i dont have one yet but at least it has a normal shape
I got both PS5 and Xbox series x I love both consoles
you shouldn't love xbox. it's such a bad console.
it's not good at all and you're better off with just a PS5 or just a switch and you're not even gonna play anything on the Xbox because there is no good games on it
Backwards compatibility and game pass. It’s ridiculous that PS5 doesn’t have a fleshed out backwards compatibility system
The battery on the PS5 sucks compared to the battery version of the xbox controller too!
Ps5 controller doesn't have much use besides haptics,i prefer the Xbox pad, more comfortable, just my opinion, plus you get more hours of play out of rechargable batteries,
I agree, I can play with the Xbox controller for hours tbh
If you have a pc where in we can use gamepass same as xbox then doesn’t A combo of ps5 and a laptop/pc makes more sense? Why would one buy xbox over pc🤔
Or a Series S and and a PS5.
Sony just doesn’t have enough first party games I’m interested in. As a life king ps fanboy I’m sad for that. Xbox is my go to tosay
Dont forget emulation, and game sharing!
Def the ps5, better exclusives and unless you are really into halo there is isn’t any mp games for the Xbox that you can’t play on ps. Plus I like the ps controller better.
I have both and my ps5 has broken down twice and I have used both the same amount
I sold my xbox and moved to Playstation after all the racist comments from the leaders of the x box team
I did the same thing. Those Xbox higher up ladies that was dishing out hate and racism to straight white men right? Freaks.
Grow up
@montstermash3897 I did, why? is not supporting racism childish?
@@montstermash3897 do you support the kkk? And that's why you are so mature?
good choice
xbox is not for everyone and it's not good
and Nintendo is better than Xbox and PlayStation for consoles and that's a fact
PC and a PS5 is the only way to go, no need for an xbox, my xbox series x is in the living room, its function is just streaming services.
No Demons Souls, no party.
but is the ps5 controller have a solid durability is solid like is predecessor like ps 1 2 and 3 ?? because ps4 was horrible in that department i was buying more controller on ps4 than game its self just saying ngl x box controller durability is on point i give them that but is ps5 have improve on it ???
I've always been a PS5 person but outside of the exclusives I feel no need to leave the Series X. Unless I decided to get into the PC world. The series X is just such a beast of a machine and a simplicity , elite to controller and operating on an SSD make it the best console I've ever had.
Literally just the controller is enough for me to go with ps5
How has Sony dropped the ball this generation?
I have both consoles. Xbox Series X and a PlayStation 5 Slim.
I want to get the slim
@@RendonTech I personally like the slim better than the original PS5.
