My grandson Alex, who is huge fan of The Wonder Years, sent this song to me. It fits us like a glove. It makes me teary every time I hear it and the lyrics mean so much to me both of us. Alex is the light of my life. We’re gonna get matching bee tattoos. Sorry if this is to mushy & long 🫢
Everything about Hum is perfect. Great album mixing. Great music videos. Great merch spread. Great tour lineups. This is TWY's biggest flex; Masters of their class.
My grandmother passed a year ago today and this song moves me every time I hear it. What a world we live in where we are all connected by love. Rest easy Grammy.
That electric piano tone brings out so many emotions because it's been on almost all their albums, on top of the song and this past album being so great
This is the first TWY album that really just hit me in all the feels as I pretty much have only been a casual fan but this may be my most listened-to album of 2022. I assume it's because there are just so many parallels to my life currently, especially with becoming a new father, and struggling with addiction/depression in the past (5yrs Sober) but I cried during 3 of the songs on Hum lol. This one, Wyatt's Song, & You're the Reason I Don't Want The World To End.
I bought The Hum on CD for my car (it still has a CD player). Up until their Worcester show I had it on literal repeat. My favorite album thus far. It’s raw, emotional and hopeful. I get goose bumps every song on this album. As someone with an anxious mother, this song really hits home. Excellent work TWY! You’ve truly inspired magic and healing with this album. I just popped in the CD today for the first time in two weeks and it was bliss.
I lost my grandma in 2016 to lung cancer I have a rose bush I helped her plant in my front yard to remember her by and the caller id of my houses landline has her answering it still and idk if it's unhealthy but I call it so I can hear her again
feel like Dan’s work with Aaron West has really influenced TWY’s songwriting and i think it shows most on this song. not ashamed to admit i’ve cried to this.
this song makes me think of my dad bc he ran in front of a bus to save me when i was a toddler and i love him so much and i moved away from him last year and i miss him so much and i cry every time i hear this song
The live vocals you deliver are actually insane. I hate when bands sound so different from the record live, but you guys NAIL it every time. And what a beautiful true story
It actually took me about halfway through the song to realize it was actually live. I saw it in the title, but just thought they meant “live” as in how some bands create music videos from live footage. Dan’s voice is so strong.
❤❤❤. I remember being an awkward emo teen listening to the upsides in grade 12. I love how the wonder years albums always come out with where I am in life

i love that so much!!!!
@@propsbytessa I’m so blessed!
no apology needed. That's incredible. Do you know where you want to get it?
@@Erawk I’ll leave that up to my Grandson😊
“Im writing songs to tell everyone that I love them
While they’re still hear to sing along”
Im unbelievably excited for this.
Easily one of my favorite lines ever written in a song
This is my whole heart. Greatest lyric ever .
The wonder years are without a doubt the most interesting band in pop punk
Everything about Hum is perfect. Great album mixing. Great music videos. Great merch spread. Great tour lineups. This is TWY's biggest flex; Masters of their class.
The tear jerker of the record. An unbelievably moving story of unconditional love.

Man this album really is their best work yet. It's like it combines everything I've liked about TWY growing up and then some.
As both a parent and a needy daughter this song always makes me tear up 💖
That electric piano tone brings out so many emotions because it's been on almost all their albums, on top of the song and this past album being so great
Greatest band in the world, still putting out the best music in the world

Congrats on the sobriety! Keep going.
Right there with ya, Josh. Three years without a drink. Just relapsed on smoking after most of a year without. Good luck. Stay strong!
i’d love love love to see TWY do a tiny desk, it would fit their toned-down versions so well
Thank you so much for being a big inspiration to get back into playing music after ten years away. You guys rock! Love Hum so much.
I can't fully put into words how much I love this band
Can't hear this song without tearing up, reminds me of my grandma.
Unreal how much I can relate to this song. By far my favorite off the album. This song is magic
Most underrated track on the album, much much love!
This is a perfect Album, Top to Bottom.

My grandma helped my dad raise me when my mom took off. Her health has been slipping lately. This one really hit me in the heart strings

Lost both my grandmas this past year, can’t listen to this without fighting tears
I love this song. It’s so heart felt and genuine. It’s heart warming. I think it’s my personal favorite from the album.
OMG, I've heard this song so many times and I really didn't think I was going to tear up. But here I am. 😭
I love all their albums, but I think Hum is the best one yet.
Amazing song that makes me cry every time. 🧡🧡🧡🧡

It’s unreal how awesome this album is. Best work to date
Sunflower fields give a great effect to this. Terrific!! Shout out to the Oxford Pennant Mfg. in my hometown of Buffalo, NY!
Surprisingly one of my favorite tracks. So glad there's gonna be a vid for it.

This whole album is amazing from start to finish!
Instant tears every time. So much love. Thank you beyond words.
I genuinely listen to harder stuff but the wonder years are the best band of 2022 in my opinion, been a fan for years. I love you guys
Great song
makes me think of my mom, she would have loved this song
❤❤❤. I remember being an awkward emo teen listening to the upsides in grade 12. I love how the wonder years albums always come out with where I am in life

Impactante, poético, lindíssimo!
