This song gives me this intense feeling of comfort everytime I listen to it, and now I get to have more of that
Nostalgia always sells. Its the memory every coast kid has of going down the shore for vacation, then as they are adolescents when their significant others and friends, then as adults with their own kids. It's a comforting and familiar place that seems frozen in time.

it's a shame the full cut couldn't make the album because it is one of the best they've ever written. just buttering us up for their eventual post-rock phase

This version of this song is, by far, my favorite song of this band. I hope I can sing it back at you guys someday when you come back to Argentina.
I grew up coming to this exact board walk with my family. My brother passed away back in 2019 and this song reminds me of those precious memories I had with him. The rides, the food, the heat pressed t-shirts. Thanks for helping me re-live such amazing times.

I remember visiting the Wildwood NJ boardwalk as a child one month before hurricane Sandy hit, and how many stuffed animals were probably lost to the sea except for the one I had won for that short time I was there

The original was a great present for my 22nd birthday, and was already special, but when I heard this version for the first time when I got my deluxe vinyl, I felt like it was just made entirely better. As someone who would go to the Jersey Shore several times every summer for years, this just felt comforting to me.
