Thank you for being helpful!
She truly is adorable and talented and the music is so moving.
so stunning! It is like listening to a stream running through a deep, dark wood...accompanied by the wind gently rustling through the leaves warmed by the glimpses of the sun peaking through ice white, puffy clouds
I have anxiety to the point that I have panic attacks at times and with everyone being in mandatory lockdowns and such, Chillhop is an oasis.
It's so nice to see a community of awesome people such as yourselves. I hope everyone stays safe and healthy! 👍
Believe it or not:
I live in a community fully WITHOUT Corona - no restrictions- no masks- no tests - no vaccines.....and NONE OF US got sick even though we met with thousands of people within the community movement.......
Now we visit Croatia: and here NOBODY acts with or around Corona....
Fully normal life here
No isolation of people and minds
All healthy life and people.
Wake up, everyone.
Lockdowns kill souls and minds first.
Then economy.
Then people.
Just say NO - and LIVE 🙌💛
I hope you feel better and your anxiety is healing ❤️
The recent news from Haiti to Afghanistan and the ongoing stress and fear regarding the Delta variant… I am listening to this daily - as a break from the chaos, to briefly experience calmness and serenity, or as a means to release tears. This music is medicine. Thank you. 🙏🏽♥️
Stop...watching...news. Thank me later.
No sound could be much more beautiful and relaxing than this.....made of peace and transquility
I love how this song is a reminder that just because you're actively following God doesn't mean it's always going to be sunshine and rainbows. We have those hard times to remind us how much God loves us and what He will do in order to continue to help shaping you
Yes. Life is a test. It is not supposed to be easy; nor should it be. And, like any other test, we well be graded on our performance, as such. I do not know how... but we will; this is clear.
GDRN is spectacular.... what an amazing song with her
I’m so glad I found this. It literally has been on my radio playing everyday. It gives me so much peace and calms down my inner child. It’s so good for cleaning or driving in my car. It’s really helped me get through a rough time of healing my trauma. Thank you for this beautiful healing music, this heavenly music. ❤️
@aimee I will be thinking of u when I am driving. I don't know what else to say😭.
@@lynnbrannan4578 thank you! I’m doing better. Some things take time.

I can't tell what's more beautiful: the music or the way they're performing it. Raw music flowing out of this performance you can almost touch it.
GDRN's vocal performance is gives me a fluttering feeling in my heart!
She is incredible! LOVE her voice
It looks like she put felt between the hammers and the strings. Such a beautiful muted haunting sound, especially when the strings come in.
Beautiful performance!!! Much respect to the engineers; this sounds amazing.
Yes, that is what she did, it really creates a beautiful sound! And the choice of an upright piano, and leaving the front exposed...all these contribute to that intimate, haunting expression.
I'm in love with Olafur's music and now i found her. There must be something magical with Iceland and their little Huldufólks
Apparently a cold and dark environment produce better music 🤣
Spirits of the depths
I started listening to it in the morning before I started work. I feel very calm now, and I have a feeling that I will be able to start the day well.
There's so much beauty in this performance. Thanks to everyone involved!
It's so great to see that nowadays there are still people, who prefer classical music instruments and this kind of music.
It gives a hope that not everything is lost yet.
Thank you for a pleasant and sensual performance.
Keep it up and hope to see more appearances of you in future.
Just beautiful and soultouching. You can feel when a musician plays from her inner landscape...
Thought I would have a quick listen... 20 minutes later I sit stunned. Like so many other comments , it was just perfect timing in a chaotic time. Thank you for sharing.
She's mesmerizing! Couldn't take my eyes off her while she played. Really wonderful performance.
I see it's not only me. She's stunning.
To save anyone else the trouble, the distortion at 2 mins is on the video. Your speakers / monitors / headphones are fine. :)
Oh thank you!
Just came across this today,,,, Christmas day 2021. What magic and beauty. Perfect after a stressful Xmas
I think its great how the woman on the piano knows all these songs and puts so much passion and heart into everything she does. Enjoyed this music very much so.
sounds like the soundscape to a beautiful fall day just as the seasons are changing and the cool air is finally blowing after a long summer :)
This is astonishingly beautiful. Discovering this has made my day.
X2
I am at a loss for words... this music sounds so sweet, it makes me cry
Me too…right in the feels
Faith in humanity restored for a while. Quite an achievement going through these dark days.
This is pure ethereal bliss -- such a magnificent gift from the precious soul of this truly special and wondrous musician. Like others, I have listened to this performance countless times since discovering it a week ago. There is such beautiful energy that flows from the beginning to the end. It leaves me calmed, inspired, soothed, comforted, transported, and deeply moved. Thank you so much, dear Eydís and KEXP, for sharing this with us all. You are treasures. ❤
Discovering this beautiful music from the other side of the world is rewarding.
Eydís, gracias por tu música y a Kexp por la experiencia 🙌
This performance gave me the chills man, it was almost like listening to asmr
I'm going through a difficult time and you gave me a moment of peace with this wonderful music, thank you
@@gaiagensouki Ja ich hoffe es, Danke!
I only chose Eydís Evensen as she was on my RUclips wall and in the end I was very pleased.
I´m a fan now. I perceive her as a native from Norway, Finland or Iceland. She has that feeling.
10:40 this moment transported me into another world. A world from inside Eydís and the musicians' minds.
How did she & this stay hidden on my radar for so long? This is awesome.
I'm more than grateful with this music, it makes me really happy and takes me to another universe. I'm also happy to be learning playing the violin, my favorite instrument ❤
good for you. goodluck

RUclips recommended this at the perfect time. I had to fall to the ground and cry. I’m by my self in a man’s house that I’m painting sobbing like a child. Thank you for helping facilitate a deep emotional process. I needed this. I needed you. Thank you for hearing my call
💚🙏🏼💚
I could collapse into the deepest, most healing sleep while listening to this music being performed.
No comment will ever capture the beauty of this set
I found peace and meaning in this music. Beautiful, unreal and it gives me hope in this broken world.
Wonderful music. I love listening. You get lost in the beautiful melodies and lovely harmonies.
The music is amazing but the visuals are equally striking. The lighting, calibration, camera operation, video processing, etc. Well done.
Nice looking plants, too.
I'm always impressed by the people who not only talented but also beautiful...
I love her music, I can feel the landscape and harmony of nature.
This really hit the spot. So peaceful. I am saving this one and will check out all of her works. This was heaven.
Bravo!
Wonderful performance! Special thanks to the sound engineers for their work, the sound is wonderful!!!
Amazing performance, not out of this world. Cosmic and earthly at the same time
This music lifts me off the ground and transports me to another dimension ....simply magical. Thank you for sharing beauty
I love that it looks like the players on the strings are playing for the plants. Really one of the highlights of this already wonderful video.
I’m hooked. I love piano and strings together. Thank you KEXP for making life so much better. I’m in love with her music 🎶♥️
Listened to this on repeat the last two days. Just breathtakingly beautiful, especially that last track. Wow wow wow.
Still listening on repeat one month later.
I have it set up with the same track list on apple music and listen to it while working. Must have listened to it more than 300 times. Maybe more. All the tracks melt into one another. And before I know it, the playlist has finished and I'm hitting the play button. Again. This music, man. This is music.
Wow! I decided to give this a listen and it totally blew me away. Beautiful music!
She has an incredibly beautiful voice. Impossible to forget.
Can't get enough of this session. I've been playing it for months as a go-to soothing set. Well done KEXP and of course Eydis and friends
Me too, but for like the last 6mths. It's my own personal lullaby to myself after everyone else has gone to bed.
It'd be perfect if it went for like 3 hours. But hey, I'll take these songs any time, any day.
