Did it work?
@@ayoud1134 yeah! It all works now, no idea why it wouldn’t let me do the last 2 but it I guess it didn’t matter. Maybe it was so ford could get the file I need to give them to say I’ve updated. But who cares it’s not like they’re going to update a 2016 mustangs synce software anymore
The lst_err07 means it doesn't see Item1, Open1... it jumps right to Item2, Open2.
Its one of the things in the video i think could be added for clarity. The portion of the code not commented-out with semicolon's needs to indicate Item1, Open1.
So for step 2 - do this
; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.0.25 - Only for My16 NonNav/NonEU assemblies.
;[SYNCGen3.0_3.0.20204_PRODUCT]
;Item1 = HB5T-14G386-THB
;Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-THB.tar.gz
;Item2 = HB5T-14G386-TBC
;Open2 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TBC.tar.gz
;Item3 = GB5T-14G386-SC
;Open3 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-SC.tar.gz
;Options = AutoInstall
;[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
;Item1 = JR3T-14G381-AY
;Open1 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G381-AY.tar.gz
[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
Item1 = JR3T-14G423-BB
Open1 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G423-BB.tar.gz
;[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
;Item3 = GB5T-14G386-AE
;Open3 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-AE.tar.gz
;Options = Delay,Include,Transaction
What you are probably trying is:
; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.0.25 - Only for My16 NonNav/NonEU assemblies.
;[SYNCGen3.0_3.0.20204_PRODUCT]
;Item1 = HB5T-14G386-THB
;Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-THB.tar.gz
;Item2 = HB5T-14G386-TBC
;Open2 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TBC.tar.gz
;Item3 = GB5T-14G386-SC
;Open3 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-SC.tar.gz
;Options = AutoInstall
;[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
;Item1 = JR3T-14G381-AY
;Open1 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G381-AY.tar.gz
[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
Item2 = JR3T-14G423-BB
Open2 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G423-BB.tar.gz
;[SYNCGen3.0_ALL]
;Item3 = GB5T-14G386-AE
;Open3 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-AE.tar.gz
;Options = Delay,Include,Transaction
Then when doing the third file, again change the Item3, Open3 to Item1, Open1
Hi there, I've been having major issues trying to update Sync 1.0 to 3.0. My autolist file looks a little different: Would it work if I just split the 6 actions into two sets of semi colons, one for each run I do? I will test it tomorrow. For example:
Original:
; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.0.25 - Only for Nav/NA assemblies.
[SYNCGen3.0_3.0.20204_PRODUCT]
Item1 = HB5T-14G386-THB
Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-THB.tar.gz
Item2 = HB5T-14G386-TCC
Open2 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TCC.tar.gz
Item3 = JR3T-14G391-CE
Open3 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G391-CE.tar.gz
Item4 = JR3T-14G381-AX
Open4 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G381-AX.tar.gz
Item5 = JR3T-14G423-CB
Open5 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G423-CB.tar.gz
Item6 = GB5T-14G386-AC
Open6 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-AC.tar.gz
Options = AutoInstall,Delay
Plan is to then for run 1:
; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.0.25 - Only for Nav/NA assemblies.
[SYNCGen3.0_3.0.20204_PRODUCT]
Item1 = HB5T-14G386-THB
Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-THB.tar.gz
Item2 = HB5T-14G386-TCC
Open2 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TCC.tar.gz
Item3 = JR3T-14G391-CE
Open3 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G391-CE.tar.gz
;Item4 = JR3T-14G381-AX
;Open4 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G381-AX.tar.gz
;Item5 = JR3T-14G423-CB
;Open5 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G423-CB.tar.gz
;Item6 = GB5T-14G386-AC
;Open6 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-AC.tar.gz
;Options = AutoInstall,Delay
Then run 2:
; SYNC3 Consumer Assembly Upgrade - Release 3.0.25 - Only for Nav/NA assemblies.
[SYNCGen3.0_3.0.20204_PRODUCT]
;Item1 = HB5T-14G386-THB
;Open1 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-THB.tar.gz
;Item2 = HB5T-14G386-TCC
;Open2 = SyncMyRide\HB5T-14G386-TCC.tar.gz
;Item3 = JR3T-14G391-CE
;Open3 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G391-CE.tar.gz
Item4 = JR3T-14G381-AX
Open4 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G381-AX.tar.gz
Item5 = JR3T-14G423-CB
Open5 = SyncMyRide\JR3T-14G423-CB.tar.gz
Item6 = GB5T-14G386-AC
Open6 = SyncMyRide\GB5T-14G386-AC.tar.gz
Options = AutoInstall,Delay
I hope this works. I'm assuming you just stay in the car as it updates so that you can pull the USB in a timely fashion?
Did you try this? @LongNguyen-wi3vy. I didn't have any luck with this approach. It's still giving me the "Bad Installation File" pop up. Thanks.
